CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN 2 395M Even
start with the exception of ROSDUE LIVE WIRE which was marginally slow to
begin. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight, KULU TURKEY shifted out and collided with RUBY HAZE resulting
in that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. ROSDUE LIVE WIRE which was
trailing, was severely checked as a result of the incident, and lost
considerable ground. |

EXPAT LODGE BOARDING
KENNELS MAIDEN FINAL (2) 395M Even start with the exception of ROSDUE BARISTA which was
slow to begin. Shortly after the
start, HARA’S DAZZA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Leaving the first turn, HARA’S
SKYLAH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight, KULU OZZIE improved
onto the heels of HARA’S SKYLAH resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked. Entering the front straight,
ROSDUE BARISTA shifted out and collided with HARA’S SKYLAH resulting in both
greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound HARA’S SKYLAH underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound
HARA’S SKYLAH underwent a further post race veterinary examination and found
to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUG NOVIE (2) 395M Even start
with the exception of WONDERLAND which was marginally slow to begin. Through the first turn, KING DIESEL and
ALFONSO were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. ALFONSO commenced to give ground in the
back straight, to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the
field. For the majority of the front
straight, KING DIESEL was held up for clear running. The greyhound
ALFONSO underwent a post race veterinary examination and found to have suffered
an injury to the stomach muscle and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5TH GRADE (1) 2 395M Even start with the exception of GLORIA’S CHOICE which
was marginally slow to begin. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight, STANKY LEG and CIA KAHN raced tight,
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. QUICK AND LIVELY raced wide rounding the
turn into the front straight. |

GARRARD’S
HORSE AND HOUND MIXED 4/5 2 395M Even start.
Through the first turn, TORNEY, SIMPLY MAGIC, GUDERA SPITFIRE and
PRINCESS EMALYS were tightened for racing, checked and lost ground. PRINCESS EMALYS was severely checked and
fell as a consequence, taking no further competitive part in the race. Rounding the turn out of the back straight,
TORNEY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the front straight, TORNEY turned its
head and marred the running of PINATA, resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. The greyhound PRINCESS EMALYS underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound TORNEY underwent a post race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer, Mr S Armstrong, that the
greyhound TORNEY would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
Offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards trial 395m all tracks. |

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5TH GRADE FINAL 395M Even start.
Through the first turn, all greyhounds, with the exception of LOBCHA,
were checked at varying degrees.
Entering the back straight, GADSBY’S ROAD was tightened for racing
room, and improved onto the heels of ON THE RIZE, resulting in both
greyhounds to lose ground. SHOW BEKIM,
which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Stewards sought an explanation from Mr S Speeding, who
handled the greyhound LOBCHA, as to the reason why the muzzle was off the
greyhound as it returned to kennelling box.
Mr Speeding reported that the muzzle broke at the completion of the
race, when LOBCHA captured the lure, and with the safety of the greyhound in
mind, he elected not to put the muzzle back on the greyhound once he
retrieved it at the completion of the event. |

turn out of the front straight, WHIPPY MIDGET momentarily blundered and lost

DOWNLOAD THE APP BEST 8 2 395M The start of Race 9 was delayed, when
TUBBY TURNER proved difficult to box.
TUBBY TURNER will be declared a hard to box dog in its near future
events. Even start. Through the first turn, DODGY DANCER and
TUBBY TURNER collided, resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. STUEY shifted out in the back straight,
which hampered the running of THUNDER FURY.
Approaching the turn into the front straight, STUEY shifted out, which
hampered the running of THUNDER FURLY.
Entering the front straight, TUBBY TURNER and BARRA TRIP raced tight,
resulting in BARRA TRIP and TUBBY TURNER to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound
THUNDER FURY underwent a post race veterinary examination and found to have
suffered an injury to the wrist and was stood down for a period of 42 days. |

Through the first turn, all Greyhounds, with the exception of LETHAL
KID and VELOCITY ZARIN, were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Entering the back straight,
BRAVE ULYSSES was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight, NAMROD, MISS
THICKSHAKE and BRAVE ULYSSES collided, resulting in all greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Rounding the
turn into the front straight, LARRIKAH LASS and MISS THICKSHAKE collide,
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |
