CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN 1 – 395m Even
start with FLYING COMET marginally slow.
In the 1st turn DYNAMITE PACE was tightened for racing
room, causing FLYING COMET to be checked, and both greyhounds to lose
ground. In the back straight, HARA’S
DAZZA and BOYZ ONE bumped, causing BOYZ ONE to lose ground. In the back straight BOYZ ONE was
wide. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 395M SLEIGHT OF HAND was best to begin with HAY BILLY
marginally slow. In the 1st
turn RAIN ALERT got on the hind quarters of NEW STAR RISING causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. Entering
the back straight, STEAK SANDWHICH and HAY BILLY collided, causing HAY BILLY
to lose ground. In the back straight,
EXTRA ROYAL was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the front straight, RAIN ALERT and IMA
TIPPA TOO bumped, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. |

EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS NOVICE (1) – 395M ZENYATTA MISS
and EL NUNU were best to begin with ITCHY FINGER and KULU RUBY marginally
slow. Rounding the turn into back
straight, ITCHY FINGER, KULU RUBY and QUICK STORY collided, causing all
greyhounds to be hampered. In the back
straight, BETTY’S SON clipped the heels of EL NUNU causing both greyhounds to
be hampered. Approaching the turn out
of the back straight, QUICK STORY and KULU RUBY collided, causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE (2) – 395M Even start with BAD GIRL TERESA marginally slow. In the 1st turn, ILLAWONG
COWGIRL and IMMA CALLIM KLAY both raced tight, causing LEEROY RAGER to be
checked and all greyhounds to be hampered.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight, IMA CALLIM KLAY collided
with KULU TURKEY, causing KULU TURKEY to become unbalanced and both
greyhounds to lose ground. In the turn out of the back straight, KULY TURKEY
and BAD GIRL TERESA collided, causing BAD GIRL TERESA to run wide and lose
ground. The greyhound
BAD GIRL TERESA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the near hip and was stood down for a period of 10
days. |

GARRARD’S
HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 395M Even start. In the
1st turn, MR. BANKS, MISS THICKSHAKE, MEMPHIS and BEST STRATEGY
all raced tight, causing all greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn out of the back straight,
BEST STRATEGY clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground. Entering the front straight, SPRING CHICKIE
shifted out, raced wide and lost ground. The greyhound
SPRING CHICKIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period
of 14 days. |

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 395M Even start, with ODESSA AND LIL MISS PINKY marginally
slow. In the 1st turn,
ODESSA and LIL MISS PINKY collided, causing CAPTAIN’S KNOCK to be checked,
resulting in LIL MISS PINKY and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK to lose ground. In the back straight, LIL MISS PINKY was
wide. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight, TREAGLE TRIUMPH from inside racing, bumped on numerous
occasions, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the front straight, LIL MISS PINKY was
wide. The greyhound
CAPTAIN’S KNOCK underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the back muscle and was stood down for a period of
14 days. |

SON OF BETTY and CYCLONE BARCI collided, causing both greyhounds to lose

after the start, BLACK OSPREY was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight, OSPREY STAR and COMETRON FLYER collided and lost ground, at
the same time BLACK OSPREY and DIAMOND SANDS collided causing both greyhounds
to lose ground. Entering the front
straight, ULLO BELLS and OSPREY STAR collided, causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. |
