@ STUD NOVICE (1) - 520M BLACKHEART
BELLA was best to begin. Shortly after
the start, CLASSY CASSIE, SIMMSY’S NINERON and WAZZA QUEEN collided, causing
all greyhounds to be hampered.
Approaching the 1st turn, CLASSY CASSIE clipped the heels
of BLACKHEART BELLA, causing SIMMSY’S NINERON and SOME OTHER FOOL to be
checked, and all greyhounds to lose ground.
Approaching the turn out of the back straight, CLASSY CASSIE and WAZZA
QUEEN collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. |

BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (2) - 520M Even start, with GALWAY PANTER and VANDERWEGHE marginally
slow. Shortly after the start, IZY
MAGIC and SHAWSY bumped. Approaching
the 1st turn, IZY MAGIC got under the hindquarters of SHAWSY,
causing WERINA LIGHTNING and GALWAY PANTHER to be checked, resulting in
WERINA LIGHTNING and SHAWSY to fall and give no further competitive part in
the race, and GALWAY PANTHER and IZY MAGIC to lose significant ground. The greyhound IZY MAGIC underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SHAWSY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound GALWAY PANTHER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near side pin
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. The greyhound WERINA LIGHTNING underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near side pin
and was stood down for a period of 10 days. After Race 2, the weather conditions were changed to
SHOWERY . |

start. Shortly after the start,
MINSTREL MAN and INNER WISDOM bumped, causing INNER WISDOM to be
hampered. Approaching the 1st
turn, THURSDAY WISH and INNER WISDOM collided, causing INNER WISDOM to lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight, DISCO DOLLY and INNER WISDOM both raced tight, causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE (1) – 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start, PROPER GENT was tightened for racing room and
hampered. In the 1st turn,
PASSION BONUS, PROPER GENT, KULU RUSTY and DOLLAR AND CENT collided, causing
all greyhounds to be hampered.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight, WILDASH WILLOW was
tightened for racing room and hampered.
The greyhound KULU RUSTY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have an injury to the off side wrist and was
stood down for a period of 10 days. . |

DOWNLOAD THE APP 5TH GRADE FINAL – 520M Even start, with OH GOLLY GOSH turning in the starting
boxes. In the 1st turn,
STROGANOFF clipped heels, shifted out, checking SHOES TO FILL, causing all
STROGANOFF to fall and give no further competitive part, and SHOES TO FILL to
lose significant ground. In the front
and back straights, OH GOLLY GOSH raced wide.
The greyhound OH GOLLY GOSH underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards’ advised
trainer, Mr J Mccarthy, that the greyhound OH GOLLY GOSH, would be charged
under Rule 52 Unsatisfactory Performance Turn in Boxes, and must perform a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. The greyhound STROGANOFF underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have an injury to the off side pin and was stood
down for a period of 7 days. The greyhound SHOES TO FILL underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off side hind
to and was stood down for a period of 7 days.. After Race 5, the weather conditions were showers. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 – 600M CYN’S MAGIC and SPRING TIME GIRL were best to begin, with
VISIGOTH marginally slow. In the 1st
turn, MILLION DOLLAR, DREAM BLASTER and VISIGOTH collided, causing all
greyhounds to be hampered. In the back
straight, NEED TO TRAVEL commenced to give ground in open running, and gave
no further competitive part in this race. The greyhound NEED TO TRAVEL underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off side hock
and was stood down for a period of 90 days |

greyhounds except CAPTAIN TIL, collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground
at differing degrees. Rounding the
turn out the back straight, ICONIC BEACH was tightened for racing room and
lost ground. In the front straight,
AZA ZEUS and MOMENT TO SHINE collided, causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. |

Approaching the 1st turn, IT’S DYLLAN and SONIC THUNDER
collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight,
ROAD SCHOLAR and INNAMINCKA bumped, causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight, CHEEKY CHANCE was tightened for racing room and hampered. |

GRADE (3) – 520M VELOCITY LINDER was best to begin, with STANKY LEG
marginally slow. Shortly after the
start, BERGERAC was tightened for racing room and hampered. Entering the 1st turn, BIG TURLS
and STANKY LEG collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Leaving the 1st turn, KULU
COOPER, STAR RING, SULTAN OF RUM and BERGERAC collided, causing all
greyhounds to run wide and lose ground to differing degrees. Entering the back straight, STAR RING and
BERGERAC collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the turn out of the back straight, STAR
RING and BERGERAC bumped, causing STAR RING to lose ground. Approaching the finishing line, BERGERAC
turned its head outwards to SULTAN OF RUM but did not make muzzle
contact. The greyhound BERGERAC underwent a post race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr F Hancock, that the
greyhound BERGERAC, would be charged under Rule 69 A, Failing to Pursue, 28
days and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 520m all tracks. |
