ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN (2) - 395M

Even start, with the exception of CHIEF SNOW and EXTRA ROYAL, which were both slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn, CHIEF SNOW and EXTRAL ROYAL collided, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight, NEW STAR RISING and HEY HONEY collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, HEY HONEY checked across heels and lost ground. Entering the back straight, BLITZEN LEE shifted in and made contact with the running rail and lost ground.

 

The greyhound BLITZEN LEE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN FINAL – 395M

Even start.  Through the 1st turn, SLEIGHT OF HAND and HAY BILLY were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after, HAY BILLY, HARA’S DAZZA and FLASH STORY all raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.

EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS NOVICE – 395M

Even start.  Shortly after the start, SHOOTING THROUGH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Through the 1st turn, ZINCHENKO, SHOOTING THROUGH and KULU RUBY raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight, SHOOTING THROUGH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, SHOOTING THROUGH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  ZINCHENKO raced wide over the various stages of the race

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5TH GRADE (1) – 395M

RAPID BLAZE and KINGSBRAE HARLEY were best to begin.  Through the 1st turn, MR. BANKS, GILBERT GRAPE and QUICK AND LIVELY were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.   Leaving the back straight, BRIGHT SATELLITE checked off heels and lost ground.  RAPID BLAZE raced wide rounding the turn out of the back straight.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE FINAL – 395M

Even start, with the exception of REGAL WAZ and ZABDON LAMBO, which were both marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn, TREAGLE TRIUMPH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight, TREAGLE TRIUMPH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight, OPPORTUNE KNOCKA, REGAL WAZ and ANOTHER RED raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.

WITHCOTT HOTEL 4TH GRADE – 395M

Even start, with the exception of BOGAN SECRET, which was marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn, STAR BILLING and PLUM JAM were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  JOHN SAID THIS commenced to give ground approaching the turn into the back straight, to finish at a considerable distance from the remainder of the field

 

The greyhound JOHN SAID THIS underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE – 520M

Even start.  In the back straight, AND YOU ARE and SON OF BETTY both raced wide.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, SAY GOOD DAY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP BEST 8 – 395M

Even start.  Through the 1st turn, STUBBORN STATE, GUTTENBERG, SHOW BOUND and CALL ME AUSSIE were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  LETHAL KID, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Entering the back straight, STUBBORN STATE shifted out which hampered the running of CALL ME AUSSIE, resulting in that greyhound to be checked and to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, BARRA TRIP shifted out, which hampered the running of STUEY, which was racing to its outside.

Even start.  Entering the back straight, BEST STRATEGY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  In the back straight, BIG TRIGGER and IRONBARK RICKY collide.  Leaving the back straight, BEST STRATEGY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight, JESS ROSE HI and IRONBARK RICKY collided on a number of occasions.

Even start, with the exception of ODESSA and TUNDRA STORM, which were both marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn, OUR CHALLENGE and ODESSA collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  TUNDRA STORM, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, OUR CHALLENGE and TUNDRA STORM collide.
