GRADE – 520M Even start, with SPRING MYSTERY and MAN OF LEISURE slowly
away. Approaching the winning post on
the 1st occasion, SPRING MYSTERY drops back and takes no further
competitive part in the event. In the
back straight, HIPSTER was wide. On
the top turn, MAGIC HORNET was wide.
In the home straight, MAN OF LEISURE was wide. The greyhound HIPSTER underwent a post race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SPRING MYSTERY underwent a post race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near
side hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days The connections of the greyhound, HIPSTER, were
questioned by stewards’ and they stated that the greyhound struggles to run
out a strong 520m. |
