SEBASTIAN and GO FOR CHUCK were best to begin, with TOPDECK DUK marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, BONNY DOON BLAZE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, KIRRABEACH KEN clipped heels and lost ground.  At the same time, BONNY DOON BLAZE clipped heels, shifted out colliding with MOJO ROSE HI and TOPDECK DUK, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight, BLACKPEARL GIRL raced wide.

UNIQUE AL was best to begin, with CLEO NOT CHLOE marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, PEGGALICIOUS clipped heels and lost ground.  Approaching the 1st turn, SNOWBALL SHIRL and ZABDON ZINGER bumped.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, PEGGALICIOUS was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

The greyhound SNOWBALL SHIRL underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ZABDON MOO MOO was best to begin, with ZABDON PRANCER and CLICK COWAN slow.  Shortly after the start, WESTERN COMET clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, FANG TASIA and FABTHOR raced wide.  Entering the front straight, WESTERN COMET, WILDASH KAMILARO, ZABDON PRANCER and FABTHOR collided, causing WILDASH KAMILARO and WESTERN COMET to lose ground.  In the front straight, WILDASH KAMILARO raced wide.

Even start.  Shortly after the start, SHAVASANA was tightened for racing room and was hampered.  Turning out of the back straight, SHAVASANA and DIAMOND JAKEY bumped.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, NO CLYDE NEEDED and SPANISH HARBOUR collided, causing SPANISH HARBOUR

LET’S GO FABIO and OSPREY STAR were best to begin.  Shortly after the start, MY FIRST PATCH, FANTASTIC RUFF, ARCH RIVAL and OSPREY STAR collided, causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  In the turn out of the back straight, DEMACRETIS FLASH clipped heels shifted out and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, CHANTILLY BEAUTY and MY FIRST PATCH collided, causing MY FIRST PATCH to fall and give no further competitive part in the race.  At the same time, OSPREY STAR commenced to give ground in open running and gave no further competitive part in the race

 

The greyhound DEMACRETIS FLASH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound OSPREY STAR underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanised.

ARABELLA EMJAY was best to begin, with LEEROY RAGER and ZENYATTA MISS marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, DAY TIME FRIEND, EL NUNU, CHEVALEIR NUIT and SWEET and CLASSY all raced tight, causing SWEET AND CLASSY and CHEVALEIR NUIT to all lose ground.  Entering the back straight, CHEVALEIR NUIT and SWEET AND CLASSY collided, causing CHEVALEIR NUIT to fall and give no further competitive part in this race, and SWEET AND CLASSY to lose ground.

 

The greyhound DEMACRETIS FLASH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SWEET AND CLASSY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off fore metacarpals and was humanely euthanised.

Even start.  Shortly after the start, LORD SIRIUS and CLASSY CHURCHIE were tightened for racing room with both losing ground.  In the 1st turn, BILL’S SPECIAL, CLASSY CHURCHIE and NEDGO PRINCESS collided, causing NEDGO PRINCESS and CLASSY CHURCHIE to lose ground.  In the back straight, BILL’S SPECIAL clipped heels and was hampered.

Even start, with PINK TRICK and FLAPPING GUMS marginally slow.  At the 1st turn, PINK TRICK, BARRA TRIP and GUTENBERG were all tightened for racing room, causing GUTENBERG to lose ground.  Entering the back straight, PINK TRICK clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, HA HA CLASSY and PREMIER TEJAY collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight, BARRA TRIP clipped heels and lost ground

PRINCESS LIGHT was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, NO SHOW JONES commenced to give ground and gave no further competitive part in the race.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, WINGS OF PERLITA was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, PRINCESS LIGHT and MAC THE QUICK were tightened for racing room, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn in the front straight, PRINCESS LIGHT clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  In the front straight, GRAND ROSIE raced wide.

 

The greyhound NO SHOW JONES underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.

FOLLOW THE DUK was best to begin, with UNIQUE MOTIVE marginally slow.  In the back straight, SPRING CHICKIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the turn out of the back straight, FOLLOW THE DUK became unbalanced and lost ground.  In the front straight, SPRING CHICKIE clipped heels and was hampered.

NIGHT TERROR was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, BETTER SIZE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Shortly after, COLD HARD TRUTH commenced to give ground in open running.  In the front straight, FROSTY FLYER and NIGHT TERROR bumped.

 

The greyhound COLD HARD TRUTH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a neck strain injury and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.
