520m, in a time of 30.98, and is cleared to race all tracks. Stewards’ Trial 2 The greyhound HAIGHT ASHBURY performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 331, in a time of 19.71, and
is now cleared to race all tracks. Reserve
Trial The greyhound GUDERA KITTYHAWK was injured
whilst performing a reserve trial, off hind back muscle, 21 days. |

BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 395M Even
start. Shortly after the start, HARA’S
SKYLAH, BROKE EVEN and HAY HONEY collided, causing HARA’S SKYLAH to be
hampered. Rounding the turn of the
back straight, all greyhounds, except HAY HONEY, raced tight causing all
greyhounds to be hampered. In the back
straight, UMBRELLA HARRY clipped heels and was hampered. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 395M SMASHNIAK BATMAN was best to begin, with TORAH SPRITE
marginally slow. Rounding the turn out of back straight, EL DOUBLE ONE shifted out,
checking BOYZ ONE, causing BOYZ ONE to lose ground. At the same time, TORAH SPRITE and HARA’S
STEVO collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. |

EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS NOVICE – 395M SMASHNIAK ICE
and TOOK A FERGUS were best to begin, with ALPHA ATLAS and ORACLE KATE
marginally slow. In the 1st
turn, JEMMA’S MAGIC, CRUMBED CUTLETS, ORACLE KATE and ALPHA ATLAS collided,
causing all greyhounds to lose ground to differing degrees. Entering the back straight, CRUMBED CUTLETS
and ORACLE KATE collided, causing ORACLE KATE to lose ground. At the same time, ALPHA ATLAS was tightened
for racing room and lost ground. In
the back straight, SMASHNIAK ICE and TOOK A FERGUS collided, causing
SMASHNIAK ICE to lose ground. In the
front straight, SMASHNIAK ICE and JEMMA’S MAGIC collided, causing all
greyhounds to be hampered. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 4TH
GRADE – 395M Even start.
Rounding the turn into the back straight, SOLO DANCER was tightened
for racing room and lost ground. At the same time, DANCING SOLO shifted out
and checked NEVER A DOUBT, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching the turn into the front
straight, BIG TRIGGER and NAUGHTY MAX bump.
In the back straight, DANCING SOLO raced wide, in the front straight,
DANCING SOLO raced wide. |

HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 395M Even start, with STILL COUNTING and PARIS QUEEN
marginally slow. In the 1st
turn, QUITE SINCERE, ON TIGHT LINES, ONE DOLLAR and PARIS QUEEN collided,
causing QUITE SINCERE and ON TIGHT LINES to be hampered, with ONE DOLLAR and
PARIS QUEEN to lose ground. Entering
the back straight, STILL COUNTING was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. Approaching the turn out of
the back straight, ONE DOLLAR was tightened for racing room and lost ground. |

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5TH
GRADE HEAT 2 – 395M Even start, with GLORIA’S CHOICE and SPRITELY BILL
marginally slow. In the 1st
turn, all greyhounds, except INSIDE RACING, raced tight causing all
greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees. Entering the back straight, BOGAN SECRET
clipped heels and lost ground.
Approaching the turn out of the back straight, HARA’S REBEL shifted
in, colliding with BOGAN SECRET and GLORIA’S CHOICE, causing all greyhounds
to lose ground. The greyhound HARA’S REBEL underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards’ questioned licensed trainer, Mr M Stevenson,
about HARA’S REBEL’s performance, where he stated that the greyhound needs to
lead to win and that the greyhound is also a relatively inexperienced runner.
Stewards’ questioned licensed trainer, Mr A Bebbington, about the greyhound’s performance, INSIDE
RACING, where he stated that the greyhound had returned from numerous
injuries and he expected a strong performance today, also stated that the
greyhound had trialled well. Mr Bebbington did not
support the greyhound. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH
GRADE HEAT 3 – 395M Even start, with EGYPTIAN MISS marginally slow, and
MATADOR MAN slipping on the green mat and losing ground. Shortly after the start, SHINE YOUR LIGHT
clipped heels, shifted out and was hampered.
Entering the back straight, SULTAN OF RUM clipped heels and was
hampered, causing SHINE YOUR LIGHT and MISS OSPREY to shift out and both to
lose ground. In the back straight,
MISS OSPREY raced wide in the front and back straight. |

– DOWNLOAD THE APP 5TH GRADE – 520M SLEIGHT OF HAND was best to begin,
with PROPER GENT coming up with the lids.
Shortly after the start, ANDA MARIE shifted in, colliding with SUPER
CUP and MYONA MORPHEUS. Approaching
the 1st turn, SUPER CUP and JOHN’S LAST raced tight, causing SUPER
CUP to be hampered. In the 1st
turn, ANDA MARIE clipped heels and lost ground. At the same time, PROPER GENT shifted out,
checking JOHN’S LAST and SUPER CUP, causing PROPER GENT and SUPER CUP to lose
ground. Entering the back straight,
ANDA MARIE got onto the hindquarters of MYONA MORPHEUS, causing ANDA MARIE to
be hampered. The greyhound PROPER GENT underwent a
post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

slow. Shortly after the start,
SMASHNIAK CLASS, SHAVASANA and EBONY SANDS all raced tight, causing EBONY
SANDS to lose ground and SMASHNIAK CLASS to be hampered. Entering the turn into the front straight,
LETHAL KID ran wide. The greyhound EBONY SANDS underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
