THIRTY TALKS
@ STUD NOVICE (1) – 520M DOUBLE
GEE was slow to begin. Approaching the
1st turn, PINK MOSEL was tightened for room, checked and shifted
outwards colliding with ROSE HONEY.
HOT EMBER, which was trailing, was forced out wider on the track as a
result. Out of the back straight and into the turn, GEORGIE MAC and ROSE
HONEY collided, resulting in both runners being checked. On entering the front straight, GEORGIE MAC
and ROSE HONEY collided. On entering
the back straight, BELLA CETTE and GEORGIE MAC bumped, resulting in GEORGIE
MAC being checked. The
greyhound PINK MOSEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the near fore toe and was stood down for
a period of 10 days. |

ASSET BODY CORPORPATE
BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (2) – 520M Shortly after the start, SHAWSY shifted in and bumped
SAMBUCCA HAYZE. Approaching the 1st
turn, SAMBUCCA HAYZE shifted in tightening the running of GIVE IT SOME which
was checked, shifted out and collided with SHAWSY which was checked. WONDERLAND, which was trailing, was checked
as a result. Shortly after, MY GIRL
YESSAM and SHE’S SOME GAL collided.
Through the turn into the back straight, WONDERLAND shifted out on the
track taking SHAWSY out wider as a result.
GIVE IT SOME was tightened for room, checked and shifted out and
collided with SHE’S SOME GAL, resulting in both runners being checked. WONDERLAND, which was trailing, was forced
to shift out wider to avoid those runner’s heels. Out of the back straight, into the turn
GIVE IT SOME checked out across the heels of SHE’S SOME GAL. Over the concluding stages of the event, SAMBUCCA
HAYZE and DOUBLE SPUR collided. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MA5 (1) - 520M ARDEN STREET
began awkwardly and lost ground.
Shortly after the start, GALLON was tightened for room and shifted out
across the heels of STEVE’S JEWEL.
Approaching the 1st turn, GALLON, THAT HOUDINI, SON OF
BETTY and FLAPPING GUMS all collided, resulting in all runners being
checked. SON OF BETTY began to give
ground, and upon entering the back straight took no further competitive part
in the event. Through the turn into
the back straight, THAT HOUDINI, ARDEN STREET and GALLON all collided,
resulting in GALLON being checked. On entering the back straight, ARDEN
STREET was tightened for room and checked. The greyhound
SON OF BETTY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a
period of 28 days. The greyhound

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE (1) – 520M CAPTAIN LOUIE was best to begin. Shortly after the start, OGODEI STAR, CRAZY
BELLA and REALISTIC were all tightened for room and checked. DOLLAR AND CENT was then tightened for room
and hampered. On entering the 1st turn, CAPTAIN LOUIE and BURRUM
STARSKY bumped on a number of occasions.
Through the turn into the back straight, CRAZY BELLA checked out
across the heels of REALISTIC. OGODEI STAR
was tightened for room and checked.
CRAZY BELLA ran wide through the turn into the front straight.
VELOCITY ONYX raced wide in the back straight. CRAZY BELLA raced wide in the
front and back straights. Over the
concluding stages of the event, CAPTAIN LOUIE checked out across the heels of
REALISTIC. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP 5TH GRADE (2) – 520M Shortly after the start, MAYWYNS NOISE was tightened for
room and checked. On entering the 1st
turn, CORYKODI shifted out across the heels of INNAMINCKA and collided with
SPOOKY SENSATION, which in turn collided with IZY GOLD, which shifted out and
collided with MAYWYNS NOISE, resulting in that runner falling and taking no
further competitive part in the event.
Through the turn into the back straight, KULU JASPER was tightened for
room and was checked as a result. Out
of the back straight into the turn, INNAMINCKA contacted the heels of KULU
JASPER, resulting in both runners being hampered. Through the turn and into the front
straight, CORYKODI and INNAMINCKA bumped on a number of occasions. The greyhound MAYWYNS NOISE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 – 520M AZA ZEUS and JUST SPIFFING were slow to begin. Shortly after the start, STANKY LEG was
tightened for room. On entering the 1st
turn, MOMENT TO SHINE, POWER SERVICE and TWIN GALAXY were all tightened for
room and checked. Through the turn
into the back straight, AZA ZEUS checked out across the heels of POWER
SERVICE. JUST SPIFFING and TWIN GALAXY
collided, resulting in TWIN GALAXY being checked. Out of the back straight into the turn, AZA
ZEUS and POWER SERVICE bumped, resulting in both runners being hampered. |

TALKS @ STUD DERBY (G2) FINAL OPEN – 520M ALPHA VALENTINE was best to
begin. Shortly after the start, BLUE
MOON RISING was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after, ROCKFORD was tightened for
room and checked. On entering the 1st
turn, PITTSBURGH PHIL was tightened for room and checked. ROCKFORD, which was trailing, was hampered
as a result. Out of the back straight
into the turn, REV FRED SLOY contacted the heels of KENATAY, which was
checked and shifted out contacting the heels of ALPHA VALENTINE, which was checked
and shifted out. DYNA FORREST, which
was to the outside of ALPHA VALENTINE, collided with that runner, fell, and
took no further part in the event. REV
FRED SLOY, which was trailing, almost fell as a result and lost significant
ground. ROCKFORD collided with the fallen DYNA FORREST, fell, and took no
further competitive part in the event.
Through the turn into the front straight, PITTSBURGH PHIL contacted
the heels of KENATAY, which was checked. The greyhound DYNA FOREST underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound REV FRED SLOY underwent
a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound KENATAY underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ROCKFORD underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

AMBER MARIE and DYNA CHANCER collided, resulting in AMBER MARIE being
checked. |

GRADE – 600M Through the turn and into the front straight, SHOES TO
FILL, FINAL CHANCE and MAGIC BARB all collided, resulting in FINAL CHANCE and
MAGIC BARB being checked. DREAM BLASTER and AGENT’S CHOICE bumped and lost
ground. Out of the turn into the back
straight, DREAM BLASTER contacted the heels of MAGIC BARB and was checked. In
the front straight SUDOKU DAISY eased and turned its head outwards. A
post-race veterinary examination of SUDOKU DAISY revealed the greyhound to
have suffered an injury to the off side wrist. Stewards’ advised licensed trainer,
Mr T Duncan that SUDOKU DAISY, would be charged under Rule 69B Failing to
Pursue with Injury, 10 days and the greyhound must perform a satisfactory
stewards’ trial prior to returning to racing. |

GRADE (3) – 520M ADHARA STEEL was best to begin. Shortly after the start, KNOCKER KNOCK and AIR
TIME were tightened for room and lost ground.
Approaching the 1st turn, BOKARM DEAN checked out across
the heels of FAB FIT and was forced out wider on the track. KNOCKER KNOCK collided with FARMOR IN TIME,
resulting in both runners being checked.
Out of the back straight into the turn, AIR TIME was tightened for
room and hampered. |
