RACE REPORTS

1.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE (1) - 520M PHANTOM HOUDINI began awkwardly at the start and lost ground. REGAL EMERALD was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after the start, PHANTOM HOUDINI and MACQUIRE collided and were checked. On entering the 1^st turn, MACQUIRE checked out across the heels of BROTHER DESY and collided with WILL EYE AM, which was checked. REGAL EMERALD, which was racing to the outside of that runner, was checked as a result. Through the turn into the back straight, INFRARED LAD bumped the rail and became momentarily unbalanced. DOUBLE SPUR checked out across the heels of JEANNIE DREAMING. Approaching the finishing line, MACQUIRE collided with DOUBLE SPUR. The greyhound INFRARED LAD underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (2) - 520M GEORGIE MAC was best to begin. CHIEF SNOW and MY GIRL YESSAM collided at the start. Shortly after the start, HOT EMBER checked in across the heels of ROSE HONEY. Approaching the 1^st turn, MY GIRL YESSAM, CALYPSO BAY, GIVE IT SOME, MONEY FOR JAM and HOT EMBER all collided and were all checked. Shortly after, CALYPSO BAY and HOT EMBER checked out across the heels of MONEY FOR JAM. Through the turn into the back straight, HOT EMBER checked out across the heels of CALYPSO BAY.

3.	GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND OPEN - 710m Approaching the 1^st turn, FIRST FIRE was tightened for room and checked.

4.	FABERGAS @ STUD MA5 – 520M SMASHNIAK MARCY, SKITTISH EXPRESS and GOT THERE were all slow to begin. ZABDON LAMBO began awkwardly. Shortly after the start, ZABDON LAMBO checked out across the heels or ARDEN STREET. On entering the 1^st turn, ARDEN STREET checked out across the heels of NEEKY’S WAY. Through the turn into the back straight, NEEKY’S WAY contacted the heels of PENDITA and was hampered. Out of the back straight into the turn, SMASHNIAK MARCY and SKITTISH EXPRESS were both tightened for room and hampered. In the front straight, NEEKY’S WAY checked out across the heels of NOOREE DESSA.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB – NMW – 520M INFRARED LASS was slow to begin. REGAL BILL began awkwardly and slipped at the start. On entering the 1^st turn, CLASSY CASSIE and SLEIGHT OF HAND were tightened for room and checked. Shortly after, SPECIAL COVER and PHANTOM RAZOR collided and were checked. Through the turn into the back straight, SLEIGHT OF HAND improved onto the heels of INFRARED LASS and was checked. Out of the turn into the back straight, CLASSY CASSIE contacted the heels of SPECIAL COVER which was checked. In the back straight, INFRARED LASS checked out across the heels of CLASSY CASSIE and collided with PHANTOM RAZOR, resulting in both runners being checked. The greyhound SPECIAL COVER underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

6.	UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP 5^TH GRADE (1) – 520M Approaching the 1^st turn, DREAM BLASTER, SHOES TO FILL and JALAPENO were all checked. RIGHT ON CUE was tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the front straight, CODRINGTON KID was tightened for room and checked out across the heels of BURRUM STARSKY.

7.	SKY RACING MIXED 4/5 – 520M Approaching the 1^st turn, STEVE’S JEWEL shifted out and bumped MOMENT TO SHINE which was hampered. On entering the back straight, MOMENT TO SHINE checked out across the heels of STEVE’S JEWEL. Out of the back straight into the turn, STEVE’S JEWEL was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after MOMENT TO SHINE, which was trailing, contacted the heels of STEVE’S JEWEL, resulting in both runners being checked. The greyhound MOMENT TO SHINE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8.	ANZAC TROPHY OPEN FINAL – 520M SNUG was best to begin. Shortly after the start, CYN’S MAGIC and GELANTIPY GOLD collided, resulting in both runners being checked. On entering the 1^st turn, CHAMPAGNE SALLY checked in across the heels of JOYCE RUMBLE.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5^TH GRADE (2) – 520M Shortly after the start, BLUE LEMONADE, STANKY LEG and COSMIC DENLYN were all tightened for room and checked. Approaching the 1^st turn, BRITTANY TALKS was tightened for room and checked. Through the turn into the back straight, SPORTFAN was tightened for room and checked. On entering the back straight, SEDUCTIVE SMILE was tightened for room and checked. Out of the back straight into the turn, SEDUCTIVE SMILE contacted the heels of SPORTFAN, resulting in both runners being checked. On entering the front straight, BLUE LEMONADE collided with KENATAY then shifted in and contacted the running rail. The greyhound BLUE LEMONADE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
