Stewards’ Trial

The greyhound HYPO SHOW performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 395m, in a time of

23.01, and is now cleared to race.

RACE REPORTS

1.	ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN – 395M Even start. Shortly after the start, BALLYMAC JAY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the first 1^st turn, FLYING COMET was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. BOGAN RASCAL, which was racing to its outside, was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB NOVICE (1) – 395M Even start, with the exception of KINGSBRAE CAROL which was slow to begin. Through the1^st turn, TURBO ROY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. STEALK SANDWHICH and TIARA GLOW, which were both trailing, were checked as a consequence and lost ground. In the back straight, STEAK SANDWHICH improved onto the heels of TURBO ROY, resulting in that greyhound to be checked and to lose ground. In back straight, TURBO ROY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound TURBO ROY underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

3.	EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS NOVICE (2) – 395M Even start, with the exception of WAZZA WHO, which was slow to begin. Through the 1^st turn, CRUMBED CUTLETS and SMASHNIAK ICE were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight, SMASHNIAK ICE was tightened for racing room, checked across the heels of JEMMA’S MAGIC and collided with SMASHNIAK DOUBLE, resulting in that greyhound to be checked and to lose ground. In back straight, SMASHNIAK ICE shifted out, which checked the running of SMASHNIAK DOUBLE. Leaving the back straight, CRUMBED CUTLETS and SATIN LUSTRE were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

4.	THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5^TH GRADE (1) – 395M Even start. Shortly after the start, GITCHA ALLEY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the 1^st turn, DANCING SOLO and MAY ROAD, were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight, DANCING SOLO and MAY ROAD were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground .

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5^TH GRADE (2) – 395M Even start. Approaching the 1^st turn, KINGSBRAE GRANMA and PENDITA were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight, BRIGHT SATELLITE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. HAY NANNY was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight, GITCHA HUMMIN’ improved onto the heels of PAIR OF ACES , checked and lost ground.

THE MANLY HOTEL 4^TH GRADE – 395M Even start. Approaching the 1^st turn, DOLLAR AND CENT, IRONBAR RICKY and MONTAIGNE were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MONTAIGNE commenced to give ground and retired from the race in the back straight. In the turn out of the back straight, REGAL TRAV and LOBCHA collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. In the front straight during the later stages of the race, DOLLAR AND CENT and HOLLY KNOCKS both collide resulting to be checked and to lose ground. The greyhound MONTAIGNE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hock and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

7.	BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5^TH GRADE – 520M Even start. Shortly after the start, MACQUIRE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight, SYFY HERO and FIRE TO RAIN bump on a number of occasions.

8.	WITHCOTT HOTEL BEST 8 – 395M Even start. Through the 1^st turn, SHOW BEKIM was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight, COMETRON FLYER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

TWITTER @ BRISGREYS 5PW – 395M Even start. Approaching the 1^st turn, ORACLE KATE, MISS BECKBOO, FUNNY FELLOW and PINATA were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MISS PAIGE MAC, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight, MISS PAIGE MAC, FUNNY FELLOW and MISS BECKBOO all raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. Shortly after, MISS PAIGE MAC checked across the heels of MISS BECKBOO and lost ground.

FABERGAS @ STUD MIXED 4/5 – 331M Even start. In the back straight, LITTLE LIVEWIRE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. EBONY SANDS was checked as a consequence of this incident and lost ground. Out of the back straight, BARBARA BENZ and POCKY’S PRINCESS raced wide. Approaching the turn into the front straight, BARBARA BENZ turned its head in the direction of POCKY’S PRINCESS and lost ground. The greyhound BARBARA BENZ underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to 14 days. Stewards’ advised, Mr D Uhrhane, representative to trainer Nina Uhrhane, the greyhound BARBARA BENZ would be charged under Rule 69(b), Failing to Pursue with Injury, and the greyhound would be stood down for a period of 14 days and greyhound to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial over a distance of 331m, all tracks.
