start. Shortly after the start, BOYZ
ONE and SHANAE WHO bumped. In the 1st
turn, SIENNA’S BOY, FLYING COMET and NAN’S MAGIC collided, causing all
greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding
the turn into the front straight, NAN’S MAGIC and FARCELONA FENIX bumped,
causing NAN’S MAGIC to become unbalanced and hampered. In the front straight, NAN’S MAGIC shifted
out colliding with FLYING COMET, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 395M Even start.
Shortly after the start, NEVER WALK ALONE and JUST TO CLASSIE
bump. In the 1st turn,
SMASHNIAK GALAXY and UNIQUE LEIGH bump.
Leaving the 1st turn, DANILO clipped heels, shifted out and
lost ground. In the back straight,
WESTMEAD COMET clipped the heels of SMASHNIAK GALAXY, resulting in DANILO to
be checked, and causing WESTMEAD COMET to fall and give no further competitive
part in the race, and DANILO to lose significant ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight,
UNIQUE LEIGH and JUST TO CLASSIE bump, causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. The greyhound WESTMEAD COMET underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

stewards’ could review film. FARMOR KA
CHING and OBLIVINATOR were best to begin, with SUMMER’S PICK marginally
slow. In the 1st turn,
ATTILA and BLUE JAY JAY bump. Entering the back straight, BLUE JAY JAY and KOORINGA ZOE collided, causing both greyhounds to
be hampered. Entering the front
straight, SUMMER’S PICK shifted out and collided with BLUE JAY JAY, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching the finishing line, SUMMER’S
PICK and BLUE JAY JAY bumped. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE
(1) – 395M NITRO BEACH was best to begin, HAY ROSALIE was marginally
slow. In the 1st turn, HAY
ROSALIE, BRASS ROAD and TOOK A FERGUS all raced tight, causing all greyhounds
to lose ground. Leaving the back
straight, HAY ROSALIE clipped heels and lost ground. The greyhound HAY ROSALIE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

HOUND NOVICE (2) – 395M CHUCKY THE CHAMP was best to begin. Shortly after the start, BLUE TEXADA and
SMASHNIAK DOUBLE bumped. In the 1st
turn, BLUE TEXADA, SMASHNIAK DOUBLE and CRUMBED CUTLETS all raced tight,
causing all greyhounds to lose ground.
Rounding the turn into the front straight, CRUMBED CUTLETS, BLUE
TEXADA and VELOCITY DELFINA collided, causing BLUE TEXADA to shift out and check
SNOW GIRL, and all greyhounds to lose ground. |

GRADE HEAT 1 – 395M REGAL EMERALD was best to begin, with PINK TRICK and
MATADOR MAN marginally slow. In the 1st
turn, HARA’S HOTTIE, TOOKA TRIP and AFTER GLOW raced tight, causing all
greyhounds to be hampered. Entering the back straight, PINK TRICK and AFTER
GLOW collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the back straight, CRACKERJACK RUBY
and HARA’ HOTTIE collide, causing HARA’S HOTTIE to be hampered. The greyhound PINK TRICK underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hind
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

DOLLAR AND CENT was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight, IRON MONARCH and
BLOZA collided, causing COOKIE NO CREAM to be checked and all greyhounds to
lose ground. In the front straight,
IRON MONARCH and BIG TRIGGER bumped. |

ARABIAN GO GO, DIESEL KING and HAY HOPEY collided,
causing DIESEL KING and HAY HOPEY to lose ground. Leaving the back straight, CHANEL BENZ
commenced to give ground in open running. The greyhound CHANEL BENZ underwent a
post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to
the off near wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

of the race, stewards’ deemed SHILOH RANCH as “hard-to-box”. Even start. In the
1st turn, PINK IMPACT and ANNIE’S MAGIC bumped. Entering the back straight, BLITZEN LEE got
onto the hindquarters of CHIEF SNOW, causing CHIEF SNOW to lose ground. As a result, PINK IMPACT was checked and
lost ground. In the back straight,
PINK IMPACT raced wide. In the front
straight, PINK IMPACT raced wide. |

and AMBER ALE were tightened for racing room, causing AMBER ALE to lose
