TERRY HILL NOVICE – 520M PETA
GLEDHILL and REGAL JADE were best to begin. TORNADO ALLEY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, NOT TOO BOSSY was
tightened for room and checked.
MAHONEY, ARE JAY LOCHIE and WILL EYE AM all bumped. Approaching the winning post, ARE JAY
LOCHIE was tightened for room and checked.
Approaching the 1st turn, TORNADO ALLEY contacted the heels
of PETA GLEDHILL, which was checked.
Through the turn into the back straight, PETA GLEDHILL failed to purse
the lure with due commitment and lost ground.
NOT TOO BOSSY and ARE JAY LOCHIE collided. Out of the turn into the
front straight, TORNADO ALLEY bumped REGAL JADE. Stewards’
advised Mr J Dart, connection to the greyhound PETA GLEDHILL, the greyhound would
be suspended under Rule 69A Failing to Pursue 1st Offence, with
the greyhound being stood down for a period of 28 days at the track where the
offence occurred and will be required to perform a satisfactory stewards’
trial, prior to racing again. The
greyhound PETA GLEDHILL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

WALKER EMERGING ORIGIN STARS OPEN FINAL- 520M HARA’S
HONEY began awkwardly. HOT EMBER and
ALPHA VALENTINE bumped. Approaching
the 1st turn, ALPHA VALENTINE, HOT EMBER, INFRARED STAR and MONEY
FOR JAM all collided and were checked.
Out of the back straight into the turn, MONEY FOR JAM improved onto
heels and was hampered. |

the start, YOU BUG ME was tightened for room and checked, MUMMA’S HOPE, which
was trailing, collided with that runner and was checked. Approaching the winning post, KNOCKER KNOCK
was tightened for room and was checked.
Through the turn into the back straight, YOU BUG ME and NOOREE DESSA
bumped. Shortly after, KNOCKER KNOCK
checked out across heels. Out of the
back straight into the turn, KNOCKER KNOCK was tightened for room and
collided with YOU BUG ME, which shifted out and bumped BLOZA. |

GO THE MAROONS! 5TH GRADE (1) – 520M BIMBADGEN
MAN was best to begin. Shortly after
the start, CHIEF SNOW was tightened for room and checked. Approaching the 1st
turn, BIMBADGEN MAN was tightened for room and checked. Through the turn into the back straight,
CHIEF SNOW was tightened for room and checked. Out of the back straight into
the turn, SWIFT NIMROD was tightened for room and checked. TAKEN KING, which
was trailing, checked out across the heels of SWIFT NIMROD. Shortly after, FIRE TO RAIN checked out
across the heels of SILVER STUNNER. Through the turn into the front straight,
TAKEN KING checked in across heels. The
greyhound CHIEF SNOW underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for
a period of 7 days. |

HORNET was best to begin. WINLOCK HUDDY was slow to begin. On entering the 1st turn,
ROCKFORD and WINLOCK HUDDY collided and were checked. Through the turn into the back straight,
ROCKFORD and WINLOCK HUDDY collided and were checked. On entering the back
straight, INDIAN GIVER and WINLOCK HUDDY collided. The greyhound
WINLOCK HUDDY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

UBET ORIGIN GREYHOUND SERIES DISTANCE OPEN FINAL – 710M CHAMPAGNE SALLY was best to begin. SHERBINI was slow to begin. On entering the 1st turn,
JALAPENO was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the back straight,
DOUBLE GEE bumped SHOES TO FILL, which was hampered. Out of the back straight
into the turn, JALAPENO was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after,
DOUBLE GEE checked out across the heels of CHAMPAGNE SALLY. Through the turn
into the front straight, on the 2nd occasion, BIG BUTTERS and POCO
DORADO collided and were checked. When questioned
into the performance of POCO DORADO, Mr J Finn stated that he was
disappointed with the greyhound’s performance tonight. He advised stewards’
that a contributing factor may have been a slightly slower surface and added
further that he supported the greyhound in tonight’s event. Stewards noted Mr
Finn’s comments. The greyhound
POCO DORADO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

best to begin. On entering the 1st
turn, AMBER MARIE, DREAM BLASTER and GET MESSI all collided and were
checked. Through the turn into the
back straight, WAHWAH TIGGY, AMBER MARIE and GET MESSI all collided and were
checked. Out of the back straight into
the turn GET MESSI contacted the heels of MR. BELVEDERE, both runners were
checked. Through the turn into the
front straight, GET MESSI shifted in and collided with the running rail. AMBER MARIE, which was trailing, was
checked. Out of the turn into the front straight, DREAM BLASTER improved onto
heels and was hampered. Shortly after, DREAM BLASTER shifted out and bumped
MINSTREL MAN. The greyhound
GET MESSI underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

HILL began awkwardly and bumped JURY.
DRINK SCHOONERS was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn, ROHAN HILL and BUBBLE GUPPY contacted the heels of SKY WAVE and were
checked. SLICK, which was trailing, was checked and forced out wider on the
track as a result. Through the turn into the front straight, CATCH ME CURLY
was tightened for room and hampered. When questioned into the performance of
SLICK, Mr J McCarthy expressed his disappointment in the performance of the
greyhound tonight. Mr McCarthy added that the greyhound would now be sent for
a spell. The
greyhound SLICK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The
greyhound SKY WAVE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

and collided with PRATER’S RECRUIT. PRATER’S RECRUIT then shifted out and
bumped, STEAL A KISS, which shifted out and bumped CAN’T POSSIBLY. Shortly
after, NEW STAR RISING was tightened for room and checked. |

was best to begin. Shortly after the
start, BRIGHT SATELLITE and THAT HOUDINI collided, both runners were
checked. Approaching the 1st
turn, SON OF BETTY shifted out, resulting in THAT HOUDINI being hampered.
BUTTON PUSHER and BRIGHT SATELLITE bumped. Through the turn into the back
straight, BRIGHT SATELLITE checked out across heels, and in doing so collided
with EGYPTIAN MISS. THAT HOUDINI was tightened for room and checked. EGYPTIAN
MISS then shifted out and collided with SON OF BETTY, both runners were
severely checked. Out of the back straight into the turn, BUTTON PUSHER was
tightened for room and checked. The greyhound
EGYPTIAN MISS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound
SON OF BETTY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period
of 10 days. |
