SETTLER was best to begin. WILL EYE AM
was slow to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn, WILL EYE AM and ROSEY’S LASS collided and were checked. Through the turn into the back straight,
NEWSWORTHY became unbalanced and was hampered. Out of the back straight into the turn,
NEWSWORTHY became unbalanced again and was hampered. RING HIM, which was trailing, was checked. Through the turn into the front straight,
STEAK SANDWHICH collided with EARLY SETTLER which was checked. NEWSWORTH,
which was trailing, collided with EARLY SETTLER and was checked. RING HIM collided with NEWSWORTHY and was
checked. In the front straight,
NEWSWORTHY shifted out and collided with WILL EYE AM. The
greyhound NEWSWORTHY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down
for a period of 14 days. |

begin. Approaching the 1st
turn, SPRING FORTE collided with PENDITA, both runners were checked. Over the concluding stages of the event,
AZARIAH and THAT HOUDINI collided. The greyhound PENDITA underwent a post race veterinary

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 600M LOCH FREDDIE was best to begin. Shortly after the start, BRITTANY TALKS and
HITCHIKER DUDE were both tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the front straight, HITCHIKER
DUDE shifted out and collided with JACKIE’S LADY, both runners were checked
and forced out wide. Out of the turn
into the front straight, SWIFT NIMROD collided with AUSSIE DIAMOND, which
shifted out and bumped DREAM BLASTER.
Through the turn into the back straight, AUSSIE DIAMOND was tightened
for room and checked. Through the turn
into the front straight, SWIFT NIMROD and HITCHIKER DUDE collided. |

GEE and RED HOT SPUR were tightened for room and checked. Shortly after, HOT EMBER and JALAPENO
bumped. On entering the back straight,
DOUBLE GEE contacted the heels of HOT EMBER, which was checked. Through the turn into the front straight,
JALAPENO sustained an injury, fell, and took no further competitive part in
the event. The
greyhound JALAPENO underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found
to have sustained an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanised. |
