UBET TAPPY MAIDEN (1)
– 331M OUTBACK
SHADOW was best to begin, TUTA BRYAN was marginally slow. In the back straight, OUTBACK SHADOW was
tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost significant ground. ORANGE
OAK ROAD, which was trailing, was inconvenienced and lost significant
ground. Leaving the turn out of the
back straight, ORANGE OAK ROAD improved onto the heels of OUTBACK SHADOW,
causing both greyhounds to lose momentum.
TUTA BRYAN raced wide through the turn into the front straight, and
remained wide for the remainder of the race.
TOP TACTIC shifted in and bumped with TIGHT CIRCLE prior to the
finish. The
greyhound OUTBACK SHADOW underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the off hind foot and was stood down for
a period of 7 days. The
greyhound ORANGE OAK ROAD underwent a post race veterinary examination and
was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind back muscle and was
stood down for a period of 28 days. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
MAIDEN (2) – 331M SO CRAZY was best to begin. ELUSIVE FANCY was marginally slow. Shortly after the start, TRAV WHO commenced
to yield ground and took no further competitive part in the race thereafter. Midway down the back straight, PIRATA and
FANTA POP collided, causing both greyhounds to become unbalanced and to lose
ground. The
greyhound TRAV WHO underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found
to have sustained an injury to the chest muscle and was stood down for a
period of 14 days. |

GARRARD’S
HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (3) – 331M MAGIC SUMMER began awkwardly and was marginally slow to
begin as a result. SHEZ NIKITA was best to begin, MAGIC SUMMER, MEERKAT
WARRIOR and SUNBURNT ROAD were all marginally slow. In the back straight, GOLD GRACE was
tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost ground. At the same time, TUTA SINGLE ONE improved
onto the rear of GOLD GRACE, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight, TUTA SINGLE ONE improved onto the rear of SUNBURNT ROAD, checked
and lost significant ground. At the
same time, MEERKAT WARRIOR shifted in, which tightened the racing room of
MAGIC SUMMER, which lost momentum.
Leaving the turn out of the back straight, MEERKAT WARRIOR improved
onto the heels of FABULOUS DIVA, causing FABULOUS DIVA to become unbalanced
and to lose ground. GOLD GRACE was inconvenienced as a result and shifted
wide. Shortly after MAGIC SUMMER was
also inconvenienced, checked off heels and lost ground. The greyhound MAGIC SUMMER underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BRAD’S BUCKS MAIDEN FINAL – 331M TUTA SHERRY and DEVIL FISH were both marginally slow to
begin. In the back straight, BRIDGET
BENZ was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost considerable
ground as a result. Shortly after,
TUTA SHERRY collided into the rear of DEVIL FISH, became severely unbalanced
and lost significant ground. |

straight, WHO’S HOPE checked off heels, shifted out and became
unbalanced. In the front straight,
WHO’S HOPE shifted out off heels. |

GRADE (1) – 331M VAQUERO was marginally slow to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight, BROKE EVEN improved onto the rear of WHITE OX and lost ground. VAQUERO shifted out and raced wide in the
front straight. The
greyhound BROKE EVEN underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the near hind foot – toe and was stood
down for a period of 14 days. The
greyhound ISLA’S IVY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the off hind toe and was stood down for
a period of 7 days. |

LODGE BOARDING KENNELS BEST 8 – 331M PEBBLE BAY was best to begin, BLACK

the turn out of the back straight, PEBBLE BAY was tightened for racing room,
checked off heels and lost ground. LID
PINGER, which was trailing, collided heavily into PEBBLE BAY, causing both

tightened for racing room and lost momentum.
Approaching the turn into the front straight, WESTMEAD DAFFIE was
impeded, shifted out and raced wide through the turn into the front straight. |

BRISGREY.COM MIXED
4/5TH GRADE – 395M WILDASH TOM, BLUE GEE TEE and SPRITELY BILL were all
marginally slow to begin. In the 1st
turn, WILDASH TOM was tightened for racing room and lost momentum. Shortly after, WILDASH TOM and BLUE GEE TEE
raced tight and checked, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. WILDASH TOM raced wide through the turn
into the front straight, and continued to race wide for the remainder of the
race. Stewards’ spoke to licensed trainer, Mr R Greensill in regards to the performance of the greyhound
WILDASH TOM. Mr Greensill
stated that the greyhound was having its 1st start over the
distance at the track tonight, and he was disappointed in its performance. He further stated that the greyhound
prefers to jump from wider boxes and being drawn in the inner box tonight was
to its detriment. The greyhound WILDASH TOM underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

LODGE MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 331M ELLY BYE BYE was best to begin,
ELEGANT DUK and ABELE were both marginally slow. Leaving the turn out of the back straight,
HA HA CLASSY was momentarily impeded and lost
momentum. Shortly after, ELEGANT DUK checked off heels, became unbalanced and
lost ground. |

tightened for racing room and lost ground.
