Race 1 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN – 520M

 

Best away was RINGBARK ACE, with CYNDIE’S ANNIE slowly away.  In the back straight, CYNDIE’S ANNIE was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight CYNDIE’S ANNIE checked off heels of ELUSIVE BALLARD.  Entering the home straight, SURGENIE and IRISH RIPPLE collide, with MISSY FERGUS wide in the home straight. 

 

Race 2 – ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB NOVICE – 520M

 

Best away was TOP VILLA, with TOO GOOD JOOG slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, VANDERWEGHE, EARS UP and ROSEY’S LASS all collide, causing ROSEY’S LASS to race wide in the turn.  In the back straight, REGAL OPAL was wide, in the home straight EARS UP was wide.

 

The greyhound REGAL OPAL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound EARS UP underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 10 days

 

Race 3 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MA5 – 395M

 

Best away was SPRING RUNNER with the rest evenly away.  Entering the turn in the back straight, ROMAN SAND and MYONA MORPHEUS and HOLLY KNOCKS all collide.  In the back straight, EBONY SANDS was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, EBONY SANDS checked off the heels of ROMAN SAND.  Approaching the winning post, HOLLY KNOCKS and LUCKY SALLY collide.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Even start, with FONIC LASS slowly away. Entering the back straight, KIM OSTI checked off the heels of FARCELONA FENIX, causing FARCELONA FENIX to drop back.  On the top turn, FONIC LASS was wide.  Entering the home straight, KIM OSTI checked off the heels of FARCELONA FENIX. 

 

Race 5 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 520M

 

Best away was SLEEK STYLE, with HAY BILLY slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight, I’M GLAD and NURBURG collide.  Entering the back straight, HAY BILLY checked off the heels of IZY MAGIC.  In the home straight, STROGANOFF was wide.

 

The greyhound I’M GLAD underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – THE MANLY HOTEL MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 520M

 

Best away was YOUI, with INFRARED STAR slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, SHOES TO FILL checked off the heels of AND YOU ARE.  In the back straight, AND YOU ARE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, INFRARED STAR checked off the heels of MR. BELVEDERE.

 

The greyhound SHOES TO FILL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MISS AMELIA underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 520M

 

Best away was WILDASH CECIL, with LORDE CERINE and SUPER CESC slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, BIG TRIGGER checked off the heels of BLACKHEART BELLA, causing BIG TRIGGER to shift out checking SUPER CESC and HAY HOPEY.  Entering the back straight, BLACKHEART BELLA and SUPER CESC collide.  In the back straight, BIG TRIGGER was wide.  In the home straight, HAY HOPEY was wide. 

 

Race 8 – FABERGAS @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 520M

 

Best away was HARA’S FLAME, with LION’S BLUE slowly away.  Soon after the start, HARA’S FLAME stumbles and drops back sharply.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, HARA’S FLAME and SILVER STUNNER collide, causing HARA’S FLAME to shift out checking LION’S BLUE and BLITZEN LEE.  Entering the back straight, BLITZEN LEE and IMA TIPPA TOO, causing IMA TIPPA TOO to fall.  In the home straight, SILVER STUNNER was wide.

 

The greyhound IMA TIPPA TOO underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – UBET TAPPY BEST 8 – 395M

 

Best away was PLUM JAM, with CAPTAIN’S KNOCK slowly away.  Entering the back straight, VALKYRIE NOEL and PLUM JAM collide.  In the home straight, VALKYRIE NOEL was wide. 

 

Race 10 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS 0-4 WINS - 600M

 

Best away was FEMME FOLLE and WHIPPY MIDGET with the rest evenly away.  In the home straight on the 1st occasion, WHIPPY MIDGET was wide.  In the back straight, WHIPPY MIDGET was wide.  In the home straight, SORRENTO checked off heels of FEMME FOLLE.
