Race 1 – UBET TAPPY MAIDEN (1) – 331M

 

Even start.  Soon after the start, LAUGHING GEAR checked off the heels of SUMMER’S PICK.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SUMMER’S PICK checked off the heels of RILEY ROO, causing RILEY ROO to fall, checking SUMMER’S PICK, causing those two greyhounds to take no further part in the event.  In the top turn and home straight, MIND YA BUSINESS was wide.

 

The greyhound RILEY ROO underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN (2) – 331M

 

Best away was FAIRY WREN, with the rest evenly away.  On the top turn, BIG BANG TEXADA and TADA collide, causing TADA to race wide on the turn and in the home straight.  TADA was wide. 

 

The greyhound MAGIC GAZELLE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 3 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD MAIDEN FINAL – 331M

 

Best away was YO YO LASS, with STEWY’S MAGIC slowly away.  Soon after the start, TEJAY’S PRIDE checked off the heels of SENOR DYLAN.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, TEJAY’S PRIDE hit the running rail and took no further competitive part in the event.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, SENOR DYLAN checked off the heels of SOX THE FOX.  In the home straight, WAZZA SAID was wide.

 

The greyhound TEJAY’S PRIDE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 4 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS NOVICE – 331M

 

Even start, with CHARLIE’S BARBUN and BLUE MIRACLE was slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, BLUE MIRACLE and AIDAN’S MAGIC collide.  On the top turn and home straight, RAPID MAIL was wide. 

 

Race 5 – LIGHTNING BNE OPEN HEAT 1 – 331M

 

Best away was BLACK DRATTA and MUSTANG TULLY, with DREAMING DORA slowly away.  On the top turn, DREAMING DORA was wide.  In the home straight, DAISY DREAMS was wide.

 

Race 6 - LIGHTNING BNE OPEN HEAT 2 – 331M

 

Best away was EL NUNU, with REGAL MISS slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, TEE BE GOOD checked off the heels of EL NUNU.  On the top turn, FANG TASIA and CRAZY EMJAY were wide.  In the home straight, CRAZY EMJAY was wide.

 

Race 7 - LIGHTNING BNE OPEN HEAT 3 – 331M

 

Even start, with ROCK THE ROAD slowly away.  Soon after the start, ROCK THE ROAD checked off the heels of BRAYSTONES BEACH.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, ROCK THE ROAD checked off the heels of PREMIER TEJAY.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, MR. SEE US checked off the heels of LOVE THE LOOK. 

 

Race 8 - LIGHTNING BNE OPEN HEAT 4 – 331M

 

Best away was ELLY BYE BYE, with the rest evenly away.  Soon after the start, TEJAY’S MAGIC and GEMMA BENZ collide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, MR. CRAIG US checked off the heels of FOXY BE GOOD, causing MR. CRAIG US to race wide on the turn.  In the home straight, FOXY BE GOOD was wide. 

 

The greyhound MR. CRAIG US underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 - LIGHTNING BNE OPEN HEAT 5 – 331M

 

Best away was ALBURY WAY, with RED RED WINE slowly away.  In the back straight, CALL ME UGO and MOCHACHING MAN collide.  Entering the home straight, RED RED WINE shifted out, checking CALL ME UGO, who in turn checked MOCHACHINI MAN, causing those two greyhounds to drop back and race wide in the home straight. 

 

The greyhound RED RED WINE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound CALL ME UGO underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the stomach muscle and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 10 - LIGHTNING BNE OPEN HEAT 6 – 331M

 

Even start, with SANTA CLAWS and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK slowly away.  Soon after the start, CASH FLOW JOE checked off the heels of LADY OLIVIA.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, CAPTAIN’S KNOCK checked off the heels of LADY OLIVIA.  Entering the home straight, LADY OLIVIA, CASH FLOW JOE and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK all collide, causing CASH FLOW JOE to raced wide in the home straight. 

 

The greyhound LADY OLIVIA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 11 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE (1) – 331M

 

Best away was BETTY’S SON and SHESA DRATTA, with SANDLER and DI CANIO slowly away.  In the back straight, DI CANIO checked off the heels of POCKY’S PRINCESS, causing DI CANIO to fall.  In the home straight, POCKY’S PRINCESS was wide.

 

The greyhound DI CANIO underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 12 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 5TH GRADE (2) – 331M

 

Even start, with AFTER GLOW slowly away.  In the back straight, PAVLOVA CLOUD and ULLO BELLS collide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, ULLO BELLS checked off the heels of TICTAC CLOUD.  In the home straight, WESTMEAD DAFFIE was wide.
