Race 1 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN (1) – 395M

 

Best away was DO YOU REMEMBER, with LOW IMPACT slowly away.  Approaching the turn in the back straight, BOYZ ONE checked off the heels of SMELL THE CHEESE.  Entering the back straight, CROCODILE TEARS shifted out checking BOYZ ONE and SMELL THE CHEESE, causing those greyhounds to drop to the rear.  On the top turn and home straight, STEWY’S MAGIC was wide. 

 

Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL MAIDEN (2) – 395M

 

Even start.  In the back straight, MISS EMMY was wide.  On the top turn, ZABDON ZINGER checked off the heels of CROCODILE SMILE.  In the home straight, BLUE JAY JAY and MISS EMMY were wide. 

 

Race 3 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS NOVICE (1) – 395M

 

Even start, with MY GIRL YESSAM and ONE EL slowly away.  Entering the back straight, WAZZA SAID and TIGHT CIRCLE collide, causing TIGHT CIRCLE to race wide in the back straight.  On the top turn, TIGHT CIRCLE checked off the heel of SMASHNIAK GALAXY, causing TIGHT CIRCLE to race wide on the turn.  In the home straight, SMASHNIAK GALAXY was wide. 

 

The greyhound TIGHT CIRCLE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MY GIRL YESSAM underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off fore toe and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE (2) – 395M

 

Best away was SENORITA DUDE and ZABDON VEYRON, with CHARLIE’S BARBUN and HOPE SAID slowly away.  In the back straight, HOPE SAID was wide.  In the top turn, COMBAL ZERO and ZABDON VEYRON collide.  In the home straight, HOPE SAID was wide.

 

Race 5 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Best away was MISS BECKBOO, with WHO’S HOPE slowly away.  Entering the turn into the back straight, TRAV SAID checked off the heels of OIL SPILL.  In the back straight, BOGAN DOLL and OIL SPILL collide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, BOGAN DOLL checked off the heels of WHO’S HOPE.  In the home straight, SMACK DAB was wide. 

 

The greyhound BOGAN DOLL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – FABERGAS @ STUD MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 395M

 

Even start, with QUIKSILVER STORM slowly away.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SHILOH RANCH checked off the heels of MAM’S MAGIC.  Entering the back straight, QUIKSILVER STORM and AZA ZEUS collide, causing those two greyhounds to drop back sharply.  In the home straight, AZA ZEUS was wide. 

 

Race 7 – BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM 5TH GRADE FINAL – 395M

 

Best away was TOP SCORE, with SO CRAZY slowly away.  Soon after the start, TOOK A FERGUS, TOOK A RHYNO and SMASHNIAK DOUBLE all collide.  Entering the back straight, TOOK A RHYNO checked off the heels of SMASHNIAK DOUBLE.  Entering the home straight, TOP SCORE and KULU COOPER collide, with GEORGIE MAC wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound SO CRAZY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the back and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM BEST 8 – 395M

 

Even start, with ROYAL PRIZE slowly away.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, REGAL BILL and BLACK PAWS collide, causing BLACK PAWS to check ROYAL PRIZE.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, BLACK PAWS and KULU ZIPSTER collide.  In the home straight, TUBBY TURNER was wide. 

 

Race 9 – ZILLMERE SPORTS 5TH GRADE – 520M

 

Even start.  In the back straight, AVA SURPRISE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, ARABIAN GO GO checked off the heels POTENTIAL.  On the top turn, ARABIAN GO GO checked off the heels of STEAL A KISS.  Entering the home straight, STEAL A KISS and AVA SURPRISE collide, causing AVA SURPRISE to race wide in the home straight. 

 

Race 10 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Best away was MSS PAGIE MAC, with BILLY WHO slowly away.  Entering the back straight, PROPER GENT and COOKIE NO CREAM collide.  Entering the home straight, DANCE WITH WOLVES and PROPER GENT collide. In the home straight, PROPER GENT was wide. 

 

Race 11 – THE MANLY HOTEL 5PW – 395M

 

Best away was NAUGHTY MAX, with MOOSE MAN slowly away.  Entering the turn into the back straight, NIVEK RETSERROF checked off the heels of BIG BIRD, causing BIG BIRD to check CUTE GAMBLER.  In the back straight, MOOSE MAN was wide.  On the top turn, MOOSE MAN checked off the heels of NIVEK RETSERROF.  In the home straight, MOOSE MAN was wide. 

 

The greyhound CUTE GAMBLER underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
