Race 1 – UBET TAPPY 5TH GRADE – 331M

 

HAPPY MAIL was marginally slow to begin.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight, WHINGING WILKO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, HAPPY MAIL was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out colliding with WHINGING WILKO, resulting in both greyhounds to lose considerable ground. 

 

Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 331M

 

SHE’S THE ROAD was marginally slow to begin.  Leaving the back straight, MAYWYN EMERALDS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  LOVE THE LOOK raced wide in the back straight.

 

Race 3 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN – 520M

 

CASH TRAIL was tightened for racing room shortly after the start and lost ground.  In the front straight on the 1st occasion, TAX COLLECTOR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the front straight, TAX COLLECTOR, STEWY’S MAGIC, IRISH ROGUE, MARANOA MISS and BLUE FLYER all raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, IRISH ROGUE and TAX COLLECTOR collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.

 

The greyhound TAX COLLECTOR underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5TH GRADE – 395M

 

Through the 1st turn, KICKER CREW was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  SWIFT NIMROD, CLICK COWAN and AUSSIE DIAMOND, which were trailing, were checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Entering the back straight, FARMOR HEAT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight, SWIFT NIMROD and CLICK COWAN collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, SWIFT NIMROD checked off heels and raced wide.

 

Race 5 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS NOVICE – 520M

 

Shortly after the start, WRITTEN IN RED was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the front straight on the 1st occasion, ROMAN SILVER and BEE SOLO collide, resulting in BEE SOLO to be checked and to lose ground. 

 

Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS 0-3 WINS – 600M

 

EYE HATE CAKE went up with the lids and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight on the 1s occasion, COOKIE YAP was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Shortly after, BIG HERO SIX shifted out which hampered the running of AGENT’S CHOICE and GALWAY PANTHER.  BLACKHEART BELLA commenced to give ground leaving the back straight.  EYE HATE CAKE raced wide over the various stages of the event.

 

The greyhound BLACKHEART BELLA underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE – 520M

 

Shortly after the start, HAY BILLY and REGAL CYNDIE were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight, BROTHER DESY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  REGAL CYNDIE commenced to give ground approaching the turn out of the back straight, to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field.  EARLY SETTLER was checked as a result of this incident.

 

The greyhound REGAL CYNDIE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 395M

 

Shortly after the start, MAM’S MAGIC and BUDDY TOKAAM collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.  Through the 1st turn, MAM’S MAGIC and BUDDY TOKAAM were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  RICHMOND ROAD, was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, BUDDY TOKAAM was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. 

 

Race 9 – FABERGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE MA5 – 395M

 

SIRIUS STAR was marginally slow to begin.  Shortly after the start, PAY THE WAY and EGYPTIAN MISS bumped. 

 

The greyhound MAY ROAD underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – THE MANLY HOTEL MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 520M

 

Shortly after the start, KALANI KARL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight, EMMA’S MAGIC was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, IZY GOLD checked out across heels and lost ground.  Entering the front straight, SMART MARLOW and YOREMMUP collide.
