Race 1 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 395m
Even start. In the 1st turn, FLASH MUMMA and PROVOKER raced tight. In the back straight, TEJAY’S PRIDE collided with FLASH MUMMA, causing TEJAY’S PRIDE to be hampered and FLASH MUMMA to lose ground.
Race 2– MARBURG HOTEL MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 395m
WARRINGA was best to begin. Entering the back straight, BLUE JAY JAY clipped heels. Leaving the back straight, ISN’T SHE JUST clipped heels. Entering the front straight, BLUE JAY JAY commenced to give ground and gave no further competitive part in the race.
The greyhound BLUE JAY JAY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side tibia and was humanely euthanised.
Race 3 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS MAIDEN HEAT 3 – 395m
ONE MUMMA was best to begin, with KNOCK ON EFFECT slow. In the 1st turn, PRIZE PORTRAIT clipped heels. Entering the back straight, SUMMER’S PICK, KNOCK ON EFFECT and CROCODILE TEARS collided. Approaching the turn into the front straight, ISNT SHE SPECIAL and PRIZE PORTRAIT collided, causing SUMMER’S PICK to be checked.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE – 395m
Even start with KINGSBRAE JEFF marginally slow. In the 1st turn all greyhounds with the exception of HAY HONEY collided, resulting in JUST TO CLASSIE to fall and give no further competitive part in the race, and the rest of greyhounds losing ground at differing degrees. Round the turn out of the back straight, WILDASH JAKEY and AIDAN’S MAGIC collided, causing AIDAN’S MAGIC to lose ground.
Race 5 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 395m
Evan start with LOGAN’s RUN slow. In the 1st turn, all greyhounds collided and lost ground at differing degrees. Entering the front straight LEGEND MAN and LOGAN’S RUN collided.
The greyhound JUST TO CLASSIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – FARBREGAS @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 395m
HOOT was best to begin with OBLIVINATOR marginally slow . In the 1st turn all greyhounds with the exception of OBLIVINATOR, collided and lost ground at differing degrees. In the back straight TOOK A SELFIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight, HOOT AND OBLIVINATOR collided. Round the turn into the front straight, SWIFT STORY clipped heels.
The greyhound ALPHA VALENTINE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 7 – BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 395m
COMETRON FLYER was best to begin. In the 1st turn, IMMA CALLIM KLAY and NAUGHTY MAX bumped. Entering the back straight, NAUGHTY MAX shifted out checking DAHOMEY WINDSONG, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 5TH GRADE – 520m
YOREMMUP was best to begin. In the 1st turn, NITRO BEACH and BLACK LOCH collided. Leaving the 1st turn, YOREMMUP and BLACK LOCH bumped. In the back straight, BLACK LOCH clipped heels.
The greyhound BLACK LOCH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 9 – ZILLMERE SPORTS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 395m
Even start. In the 1st turn CINDY RUMBLE clipped heels, shifted out and checked FARMOR AT LAST. In the back straight, QUITE SINCERE clipped heels. Entering the front straight, TIGHT CIRCLE was tightened for racing room.
