Race 1 – ASSET BODY
CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLANE, NOVICE, 331M
UNIQUE
SPIRIT was slow to begin. Entering the back straight DRUID PRINCE and ALPHA
HEMERA were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight RED BELLY BLACK was tightened
for racing around was checked and
lost ground.
Race 2– GARRARD’S HORSE
AND HOUND, 5th GRADE 395M
Shortly
after the start HARRA’s HOOK was tightened for racing and checked and lost
ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight HARA’S HOOK checked across
heels and lost ground.
Race 3 – UBET TAPPY, 5TH
GRADE, 395M
POINT
SEVEN was slow to begin. Rounding the turn into the back straight MAGIC PASS
was tightened for racing room was severely checked and fell and took no further
competitive part in the event.
Race 4 – NATHAN VARCOE
PUNTER OF THE YEAR, 3/4 GRADE, 331M
Entering
the back straight PRINCESS LIGHT, PENTERA NEGRA, REGAL TRAV and POLLYS MAID all
collide resulting in all greyhounds being checked and to lose ground. Leaving
the back straight THUNDA STORM was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight CALL ME UGO and MAGIC CODE
collide resulting CALL ME UGO to be checked and lose ground. Entering the front
straight PRINCESS LIGHT checked across heels and lost ground. In the front
straight POLLYS MAID was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Race 5 – THIRTY TALKS @
STUD, BEST 8, 331M
LID
PINGER was slow to begin. Entering the back straight SHADOW COURT and BUDDY
TOKAAM were timed for racing, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back
straight LID PINGER was timed for racing was checked and lost ground. SHADOW
COURT which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight CASH FLO GO improved on the heels and was
checked as a consequence.
Race 6 – BOX 1
PHOTOGRAPHY, 3/4 GRADE, 395M
Rounding
the turn into the back straight CALL ME AUSSIE improved onto the heels of ALPHA
LUCKY and was checked as a consequence. Leaving the back straight LET’S GO
FABIO was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Race 7 – GREYHOUND
ADOPTION PROGRAM, BEST 8, 395M
REGAL
WAZ was slow to begin. Through the first turn INDIAN RUBY, ARABIAN GOGO and
BLACK PAWS were all tightened for racing room, were checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn into the back straight REGAL WAZ was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. INDIAN RUBY which was
trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Race 8 – EXPAT LODGE
BOARDING KENNELS, 5TH GRADE, 520M
Leaving the front
straight MY WINDSONG checked across heels and lost ground. Leaving the back straight
FELICI BEACH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. EBONY
MIST, RUN WITH FAITH and MY WINDSONG were all checked as a result of this incident
and lost ground.
Race 9 – FABREGAS @
METICULOUS LODGE, 5TH GRADE 331M
MIDNIGHT TO ONE and
BETTY’S SON raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight.
Race 10 – MARBURG
HOTEL, 5TH GRADE, 331M
Rounding the turn out
of the back straight KAKEI, RAIN ALERT, PERONI BEACH and DESTINI COMET all
raced tight resulting in all greyhounds being checked to various degrees and losing
ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight RAIN ALERT checked across
the heels and collided with PERONI BEACH resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground.
