Race 1 – UBET TAPPY, MAIDEN HEAT 1, 331M
NACHO GRANDE and FAIRY WREN were both best to begin. FLYING LIMP was slow. Leaving the first turn HARA’S HUSTLE checked off heels and lost substantial ground as a result. THIS AIN’T OVER raced wide through the turn out of the back straight. FLYING LIMP also raced wide through the turn out of the back straight and became unbalanced, losing substantial ground as a result. Approaching the turn into the front straight THIS AIN’T OVER shifted in and collided into the rear of KRAZY ZOE, then shifted out, losing significant ground as a consequence.
Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL, MAIDEN HEAT 2, 331M
ZULU STRIKE was best to begin. Shortly after the start TUTA BRYAN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after PAY TODAY was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the back straight ROSEAVILLA checked off heels, became unbalanced and lost considerable ground as a result. At the turn out of the back straight ROSEAVILLA improved onto the heels of FLY BURUDIRA, causing both greyhounds to become unbalanced and lose considerable ground. TUTA BRYAN and SENORITA QUALITY both raced wide through the turn out of the back straight TUTA BRYAN continued to race wide for the remainder of the race.
Race 3 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND, MAIDEN HEAT 3, 331M
BURRUM BOY was best to begin. COBO’S EELS and BUST ‘EM UP were both slow. Shortly after the start SON OF VILLA checked off heels and lost considerable ground. Leaving the first turn CARDRONA LASS checked off heels, become severely unbalanced and lost substantial ground, taking no further competitive part in the event.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD, NOVICE, 331 M
SHANAE WHO and LAUGHING GEAR were both marginally slow. In the first turn DRUID PRINCE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after DRUID PRINCE improved onto the heels of ZAFONIC SPIRIT causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight SHANAE WHO checked off heels and lost considerable ground.
Race 5 – TWITTER @BRISGREYS, NOVICE, 331 M
WILD CONNNECTION was marginally slow. Approaching the turn out of the back straight MASTER SHADOW was tightened for racing room become unbalanced and lost considerable ground. OUTBACK ILLUSION which was trialling was inconvenienced and also lost considerable ground.
Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS, MAIDEN 5TH GRADE, 331M
BRIGHT SATELLITE and SPRING RUNNER were best to begin. Shortly after the start MEMPHIS was tightened for room, checked and lost ground. CHASING DOLLARS who was trailing was inconvenienced and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight MEMPHIS was impeded, checked into ORACLE KATE and lost momentum. Leaving the turn out of the back straight AVAMAY improved onto the heels of DANCE WITH WOLF causing that greyhound to become unbalanced and lose ground. CHASING DOLLARS raced wide through the turn out of the back straight and remained wide for the remainder of the race.
Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY, 3/4TH GRADE, 331M
PANTERA NEGRA was slow to begin. Leaving the turn into the back straight ALWAYS ALBURY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost significant ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight MAM’S MAGIC improved onto the rear of I’M GLAD causing both greyhounds to stumble and lose substantial ground. PANTERA NEGRA which was trialling was severely inconvenienced and also lost substantial ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight MAM’S MAGIC was impeded, shifted out and raced wide through the turn.
Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM, 1/2ND GRADE, 331M
COSMO CYNDIE was slow to begin. Leaving the first turn WHITE OX was tightened for racing room became unbalanced and lost momentum. Approaching the turn out of the back straight VELOCITY ZARIN was tightened for racing room, stumbled and lost considerable ground as a consequence. Shortly after ALBURY WAY checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight SHADOW COURT and VELOCITY ZARIN collided, causing both greyhounds to become unbalanced and lose significant ground. ALBURY WAY which was trialling was inconvenienced and lost ground.
Race 9 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE, 5TH GRADE, 395M
COOKIE NO CREAM was best to begin, DAZE LIKE THESE was marginally slow. At the first turn COOKIE NO CREAM and REGAL EMERALD raced tight and bumped. Approaching the turn into the back straight BONNY DOON GEE checked off heels and lost significant ground. DAZE LIKE THESE which was trailing was inconvenienced and also lost ground.
Race 10 – ZILLMERE SPORTS, 5TH GRADE, 331M
PRINCESS LIGHT was best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back straight XEROX LETTER shifted in which impeded GOLD GRACE which in turn improved onto the heels of XEROX LETTER causing XEROX LETTER to shift out checking into BILLY WHO. GOLD GRACE lost significant ground as a result of that contact. ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE which was trailing collided heavily into the back of GOLD GRACE and lost substantial ground. XEROX LETTER continued to shift out through the turn out of the back straight, causing BILLY WHO which was racing to it’s outside, to also race wide. Approaching the turn into the front straight BILLY WHO shifted out and collided heavily into XEROX LETTER causing both greyhounds to lose further ground. BILLY WHO and XEROX LETTER raced tight through the turn into the front straight and bumped on multiple occasions. HEADSPIN shifted out over the concluding stages of the race and raced tight with BILLY WHO just prior to the finished, bumping on occasion.
Race 11 – ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB, 5TH GRADE, 331M
SHADES OF BLUE was best to begin. WHOS HOPE was very slow. In the back straight SHADES OF BLUE checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, STAR BILLING was tightened for racing room, impeded and lost significant ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight, RAIN ALERT improved onto the heels of SHIFTING COLOUR and immediately after collided into that greyhound, causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground as a consequence. Leaving the turn into the front straight GOLD STYLE shifted in and collided into MIND YA BUSINESS, this severely inconvenienced SHIFTING COLOUR who lost significant ground. In the front straight GOLD STYLE shifted in severely, which inconvenienced and impeded MIND YA BUSNIESS causing that greyhound to lose significant ground. SHIFTING COLOUR and RAIN ALERT raced tight and bumped prior to the finish. GOLD STYLE and SHADES OF BLUE raced tight and bumped on multiple occasions over the concluding stages of the event.
Race 12 – BRISGREYS.COM, 5PW, 331M
WAIKARIE SYLVIE was best to begin. At the first turn OUR CAVALIER was impeded and lost momentum. MASTER DEAN raced very wide through the turn into the front straight. Shortly after leaving the turn into the front straight, HAY WILLIAM shifted in and collided into RAPID EFFECT, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
