Race 1 – MARBURG HOTEL| MDNPW | 331M

OUTBACK SHADOW was best to begin. In the back straight KNOCK ON EFFECT clipped heels. Leaving the back straight REBEL’S FORCE clipped heels. Rounding the turn into the front straight TUTA BRYAN and KNOCK ON EFFECT bumped, at the same time BROOKLYN MISS and REBEL’S FORCE collided causing both greyhounds to race awkwardly and lose ground.

The greyhound KNOCK ON EFFECT underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

Race 2 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM | MAIDEN | 331M

COOL WOMAN and TADA were best to begin. Shortly after the start SAME OLD STORY clipped the heels of AGAME. Rounding the turn into the back straight TADA, FLYING HOUND and FLASH MUMMA collided, at the same time MAD INVITE and SAME OLD STORY collided.

Race 3 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND | NOVICE | 331M

ZULU Strike and WILD CONNECTION were best to begin with TOMMY’S BEACH and MAGIC SUMMER marginally slow. Leaving the back straight HARA’S HUSTLE clipped heels causing TOMMY’S BEACH to be checked and both greyhounds to lose significant ground.

HAVANA BLACK was best to begin. Shortly after the start AIDAN’S MAGIC commended to give ground in open running. Leaving the back straight CHOME RUN and WILD MAN collided. In the front straight EMMA SAID turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with ZULU ALERT.

The greyhound AIDAN’S MAGIC underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

PARANELLA was best to begin with STEWY’S MAGIC marginally slow. Shortly after the start STEWY’S MAGIC and WEE JACKIE raced tight causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the back straight KALISKA’S CLONE hit the running rail and lost ground.

MAM’S MAGIC was best to begin. Leaving the back straight OUR CAVALIER and BETTA BE RIGHT collided. Approaching the turn into the front straight MASTER DEAN and MAM’S MAGIC bumped.

Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY | 5^TH GRADE | 331M

MISTER CHAOS was best to begin with WHO’S HOPE slow. In the front straight CHASING DIAMONDS and DARK CONDE were racing tight and bumping. In the front straight WHO’S HOPE and DRUID PRINCE raced wide.

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | BEST 8 | 331M

BACK PLAY was best to begin. Shortly after the start WISE MISTY and BLACK PAWS collided causing WISE MISTY to lose ground.

Stewards questioned Mr. Craig Hazelgrove over the performance of WISE MISTY, which he stated the greyhound has been trialling well and expected a good showing but believed the race interference caused the performance. He further stated that he did not support the greyhound.

The greyhound WISE MISTY underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 9 –FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE | 5^TH GRADE | 331M

Even start. Shortly after the start EMPIRE RAIN got onto the heels of WAIKARIE SYLVIE causing WAIKARIE SYLVIE to lose ground. Leaving the back straight EMPIRE REIGHN and BRAYSTONES BEACH collided.

Race 10 – ZILLMERE SPORTS | MIXED 3/4 | 331M

BETTA BE QUICK was best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back straight PANTERA NEGRA, BLACK SCORPION and RAQUEL’S MAGIC all raced tight and bumped.

Race 11 – SKY RACING | MIXED 4/5 | 331M

NAN’S MAGIC was best to begin with LADY PERLITA slow. Shortly after the start BROKE EVEN clipped heels. Rounding the turn into the front straight SHIFTING COLOUR shifted out checking HARRY’S LEGEND causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Even start. Leaving the back straight WARRINGA clipped heels causing TEJAY’s MAGIC and CYNDIE WHO to be checked. In the front straight KENNA shifted out checking WARRINGA causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
