Race 1 – BRISGREYS ON INSTRAGRAM │ NOVICE │ 520M
Trainer Mr D. Fitzgerald was fined the sum of $100 under the provisions of GAR.46(2) when he failed to retrieve CLASSY ARIA from the kennels by the appointed time and present that greyhound to the stewards prior to the start of the event.
At the start SCANLON and WILDASH JAKEY collided and RISING BEYOND and HAIGSLEA FLYER resulting in those runners to be slow to begin. Entering the turn out of the front straight SCANLON improved onto the hind quarters of WILDASH JAKEY resulting in that runner to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. SCANLON lost considerable ground as a result of this incident. Through the turn into the back straight PROPOSAL was tightened for room and checked. Entering the back straight RISING BEYNOND checked off heels. Rounding the turn out of the back straight HAIGSLEA FLYER was tightened for room and checked. Approaching the turn into the front straight MY GIRL YESSAM improved onto the heels of another runner and was checked. Over the concluding stages of the even HAIGSLEA FLYER and PROPOSAL collided resulting in both runners to be checked.

Race 2 – GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND | NOVICE | 520M
MY BOUQUET was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start PASSING NOVA was tightened for room and checked. In the front straight on the first occasion ELLIE GRACE and NOVEMBER FLAME bumped and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the front straight ANJALIE was tightened for room, severely checked and fell taking no further part in the event. PASSING NOVA and NOVEMBER FLAME which were trailing were hampered as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the back straight NOVEMBER FLAME, PASSING NOVA and UNIQUE LEIGH all bumped on several occasions and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight PASSING NOVA and UNIQUE LEIGH were tightened for room and checked.
ANJALIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 3 – SKY RACING | GRADE 5 | 520M
At the start KULU COOPER was tightened for room and subsequently slow to begin. In the front straight on the first occasion KULU COOPER contacted the heels of another runner, became momentarily unbalanced, and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the front straight MOLLY MADNESS and CHELSEA bumped resulting in those runners to be hampered. VISION OF LOVE which was trailing had to check outwards to avoid those runners’ heels. Rounding the turn into the back straight MOLLY MADNESS was tightened for room, severely checked and lost considerable ground. CLICK COWAN and SMALL JEWEL which were trailing were severely checked and lost considerable ground also. In the back straight KULU COOPER checked off heels. Entering the turn out of the back straight MOLLY MADNESS and KULU COOPER bumped resulting in both runners to be hampered.
MOLLY MADNESS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND | MA5 | 520M
Shortly after the start SONIC THUNDER, MR BELVEDERE ARABIAN GOGO and SOFT SAND were all tightened for room and checked to varying degrees. Approaching the turn out of the front straight TWIN GALAXY checked off heels. Rounding the turn out of the front straight SOFT SAND was bumped by another runner, shifted wider on the turn and lost ground as a consequence. Through the turn out of the back straight TWIN GALAXY checked off heels and collided with SMART MARLO resulting in both runners to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. SONIC THUNDER which was trailing improved onto the heels of those runners and was severely checked as a consequence. Rounding the turn out of the back straight SMART MARLOW was tightened for room and was hampered.
Race 5 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD | FFA | 710M
SORRENTO and TIMES A BONUS were slow to begin. Shortly after the start AGENT’S CHOICE was bumped by another runner and momentarily hampered. Approaching the turn out of the back straight on the first occasion RUN WITH FAITH and DRAGON SPIN bumped and lost ground. AGENT’S CHOICE which was trailing was hampered as a consequence. Entering the front straight on the first occasion TIMES A BONUS checked off heels. Rounding the turn into the home straight MAGIC HORNET was bumped by another runner and lost ground.
Race 6 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY | GRADE 5 | 520M
WAZZA WHO and NILLY NELLY began awkwardly. Approaching the turn out of the front straight SAMBUCCA HAZE improved onto the hind quarters of FARMOR IMAGE resulting in that runner to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. SAMBUCCA HAZZE shifted outwards and collided with RULE THE ROAD resulting in that runner to fall and take no further part in the event. SAMBUCCA HAYZE lost considerable ground as a result of these incidences. WAZZA WHO which was trailing shifted wider on the turn to avoid this incident and lost ground.
FARMOR IMAGE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
RULE THE ROAD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the back and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
Race 7 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | MIXED 4/5 | 520M
HAY BILLY began awkwardly. Shortly after the start KULU HIPSTER and ALPHA ULYSSES were tightened for room and checked. Approaching the turn out of the front straight SHE’S SOME GAL was tightened for room, severely checked and lost considerable ground. Shortly after, STEAL A KISS checked off heels, became momentarily unbalanced and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight KULU HISPTER collided with HARA’S HOOK resulting in both runners to be checked. HARA’S HOOK continued to shift outwards and collided with CAN’T POSSIBILY resulting in that runner to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight HARA’S HOOK was tightened for room, severely checked and lost considerable ground. Rounding the turn into the homes straight SHE’S SOME GAL and CAN’T POSSIBLY bumped on several occasions resulting in bother runners to be hampered.
Race 8 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE | GRADE 4 | 520M
ALPHA LUCKY and COMANECI were best to begin. Shortly after the start FIRST FIRE checked in across heels and was hampered. Entering the turn out of the front straight AIR TIME, SUPER CESC and INFARED STAR were tightened for room and checked to varying degrees. FIRST FIRE which was trailing was checked as a consequence. Approaching the turn into the home straight FIRST FIRE checked off heels.
Race 9 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS | FFA | 520M
The start of the event was delayed when track repairs were required.
KULU JASPER was slow to begin. In the front straight on the first occasion ADHARA STEEL and WISE MISTY were tightened for room and checked. Approaching the turn out of the front straight ADHARA STEEL made contact with the running rail and was severely checked. Approaching the turn into the back straight WHEATACRE checked off heels. Appraising the turn out of the back straight WISE MISTY and WHEATACRE ware tightened for room and checked. ADHARA STEEL which was trailing shifted out to avoid those runners’ heels.
ADHARA STEEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 10 – BRISGREYS.COM | GRADE 5 | 520M
The start of the event was rescheduled to 9.50pm after delays in the previous race.
KENDALL was slow to begin. Shortly after the start RATAJKOWSKI was bumped by EXPONENTIAL and was checked. Approaching the turn out of the front straight KULU OZZIE was tightened for room and checked. Through the turn into the back straight SYFY HERO checked out across heels and lost considerable ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight KATIE WHO improved onto the heels, was checked and lost considerable ground. RATAJKOWSKI which was trailing was hampered as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the home straight KULU OZZIE checked out across heels.
Race 11 – MARBURG HOTEL | MA5 | 520M
The start of the event was rescheduled to 10.05pm after delays in a prior race.
PHANTOM HENRY, ZILLIE BEAN and CALYPSO BAY were slow to begin. In the front straight on the first occasion INDOMINOUS DANE and SON OF BETTY were tightened for room and checked. Approaching the turn out of the front straight SON OF BETTY was tightened for room and checked. Rounding the turn into the home straight INDOMINOUS DANE was tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Over the concluding stages EMPIRE REIGHN shifted in across heels.
