Race 1 – MARBURG HOTEL| MAIDEN| 331M
BEV'S REMISSION was slow to begin. Entering the back straight SNOWY HOFFSTER, PARANELLA and BLACK RELIANCE raced tight resulting in all greyhounds losing ground. MIXED SPICE, which was tightened for racing room as result of this incident fell and took no further competitive part in the race.
The greyhound MIXED SPICE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 2 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM| MAIDEN| 331M
FAIRY WREN was slow to begin. Rounding the turn out of the back straight LADY ULLA, FASCINATE PRINCE, MAD INVITE and STEWY’S MAGIC all raced wide.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND| HARA'S| 331M
Approaching the turn out of the back straight, GITCHA QUICK, ZULU ALERT and TOP TACTIC received interference through tight racing and lost ground.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD| MA5| 331M
Entering the back straight FERNVALE RUBY and MAMMA’S BOY were both tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight ALOTA DAGZ and FERNVALE RUBY collide. Approaching the turn into the front straight FERNVALE RUBY and MAMMA’S BOY collide on a number of occasions.
Race 5 – TWITTER @BRISGREYS| GRADE 4| 331M
BILLY WHO was slow to begin. Entering the back straight MAGIC PLANK, MEMPHIS and DIAMOND SAND all raced tight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight AERIAL DYNAMITE and RAQUEL'S MAGIC collide resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. ZINCHENKO raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight.
Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS| MIXED 3/4| 331M
Entering the back straight ALBURY WAY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight BACK PLAY received interference from tight racing, shifted out and collided with VAQUERO resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. COSMO CYNDIE which was racing to the outside of VAQUERO was checked as a result of this incident, and lost ground. REGAL TRAV raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight.
Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY| MIXED 4/5 | 331M
The start of this race was delayed when the track required maintenance.
Through the first turn HALL PASS was tightened for racing room and checked,
lost ground.
AIR TIME which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM| MIXED 1/2| 331M
Approaching the turn out of the back straight LID PINGER was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after GITCHA ALLEY and LADY OLIVIA collide resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
The greyhound LADY OLIVIA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 9 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE| GRADE 5 (1)| 331M
Entering the back straight PENUMBRA was tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Race 10 – ZILLMERE SPORTS| GRADE 5 | 331M
Entering the back straight RUN MONTY RUN, SENOR DYLAN and DESTINI COMET were all tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight RUN MONTY RUN shifted in and made contact with the running rail and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight SENOR DYLAN improved on the heels of DESTINI COMET and lost ground.
The greyhound RUN MONTY RUN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 11 – SKY RACING| GRADE 5 | 331M
ADRIENNE’S HOPE and MISS ELECTRIC were both slow to begin. In the back straight SHADES OF BLUE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight CHASING DIAMONDS was tightened for racing room and lost ground. DARKE CONDE and SHADES OF BLUE, which were trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground. MISS ELECTRIC raced wide leaving the back straight. In the front straight during the later stage of the race DARKE CONDE shifted out and made contact with MISS ELECTRIC. DARK CONDE underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed to have strained its back and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. Trainer Mr H Ardle was informed that DARK CONDE would be charged under rule 69b for failing to pursue by reason of injury. DARK CONDE was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days and must trial to the steward’s satisfaction before returning to racing.
Race 12 – BRISGREYS.COM | 5PW | 331M
Shortly after start MOOSE MAN was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight HEZ BOBY DAZZLER was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight HEADSPIN commenced to give ground and retire from the race. MISS PIGGY and MIND YA BUSINESS, which were both trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground.
The greyhound HEADSPIN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a back strain injury and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
The greyhound MOOSE MAN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the chest muscle and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
