Race 1 – TAB | MAIDEN GRADE | 395 M
ROVER’S WAY and MIXED SPICE were best to begin. ROSEAVILLA was marginally slow. Leaving the first turn SMELL THE CHEESE shifted in causing FROSTY BLACK JAY to be impeded, then check off the heels of SMELL THE CHEESE, with both greyhounds losing considerable ground as a result. Approaching the turn out of the back straight STYLISH MAKEUP improved onto the heels of FLASH MUMMA, became unbalanced, shifted out and lost significant ground. FROSTY BLACK JAY raced wide in the turn out of the back straight and continued wide through the turn into the front straight. ROSAVILLA and KOORINGA ZOE bumped rounding the turn into the front straight, with both losing momentum as a result.
Race 2 – SKY RACING | MAIDEN | 395 M
SAME OLD STORY was best to begin, TOKEN DELIGHT and IT ALL CHEEKY were marginally slow. Leaving the turn into the back straight DANILO and TIPPEE RIDDELL raced tight and checked, causing TIPPEE RIDDELL to lose significant ground. Shortly after TOKEN DELIGHT checked off heels and lost substantial ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight SAME OLD STORY and LADY FRANKIE raced tight, causing SAME OLD STORY to be tightened for racing room, check off heels and lose considerable ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight LADY FRANKIE shifted out and checked into SAME OLD STORY, causing SAME OLD STORY to become severely unbalanced and lose significant ground.
SAME OLD STORY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
TIPPEE RIDDELL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 3 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND Maiden | MAIDEN | 395 M
BANJO’S ISSUE was best to begin. ALPHA SOMETHING and NOAKI QUEEN were both marginally slow. At the first turn BANJO’S ISSUE and WESTEND PARK collided, which in turn caused interference to the entire field, as a result BANJO’S ISSUE lost significant ground and JUST HIS STYLE fell and took no further competitive part in the race. Leaving the turn into the back straight, WESTEND PARK was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost substantial ground as a result. Approaching the turn out of the back straight LADY NICOLE was impeded and lost momentum. Approaching the turn into the front straight LADY NICOLE was severely impeded, became unbalanced and lost significant ground. Shortly after BANJO’s ISSUE and RILEY ROO collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
ALPHA SOMETHING underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
WESTEND PARK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 4 – MARBURG HOTEL | NOVICE | 395 M
DONNA RUMBLE was best to begin. At the first turn SPIRIT RIVER, MISTER MORK and KINGSBRAE JEFF were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost considerable ground. MISTER MORK’S muzzle was partially dislodged as a result of this contact. Leaving the turn out of the back straight, BURRUM BOY was impeded and lost momentum. Approaching the turn out of the back straight KINGSBRAE JEFF improved onto the heels of SPIRIT RIVER, causing that greyhound to become unbalanced and lose ground.
Race 5 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS | 5th GRADE | 395 M
ISADORA FROSTED and BURRUM EAGLE were best to begin. SENORITA DUDE was slow. Approaching the turn into the back straight TOMMY’S BEACH improved on the rear of ISADORA FROSTED causing that greyhound to become severely unbalanced and yield ground immediately, taking no further competitive part in the race. TOMMY’S BEACH then shifted out and then collided into COMBAT ZERO causing both those greyhounds to lose significant ground. LAUGHING GEAR which was trailing was severely inconvenienced and also lost significant ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight TRAV SAID improved onto the heels of BURRUM EAGLE to become unbalanced and lost ground. TOMMY’S BEACH and SENORITA DUDE raced tight and checked on numerous occasions out of the back straight, losing substantial ground as a result. Leaving the turn into the front straight TRAV SAID become severely unbalanced fell and took no further competitive part in the race. TOMMY’S BEACH and SENORITA DUDE which were trailing that greyhound were inconvenienced and lost further ground.
SENORITA DUDE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5th Grade F | 5th GRADE | 395 M
TOOKA TRIP and ZINCHENKO were both best to begin. OPAL BEACH and SHIFTING COLOUR were both marginally slow. Leaving the turn out of the back straight, OPAL BEACH checked off heels, become unbalanced and lost significant ground. At the same time HOOT was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and was severally unbalanced, losing significant ground as a consequence. Approaching the turn out of the back straight OPAL BEACH checked off heels and lost further ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight OPAL BEACH and HOOT checked and lost momentum.
HOOT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 7 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND | 3 /4 GRADE | 395 M
SPIRITELY BILL and IMMA CALLIM KLAY were marginally slow to begin. In the first turn BLOZA and RAQUEL’S MAGIC were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost considerable ground. IMMA CALLIM KLAY was also inconvenienced and lost considerable ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight BLOZA checked off heels, was severely unbalanced and lost significant ground. RAQUEL’S MAGIC which was trailing was severely impeded and also lost significant ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight SPRITELY BILL and JOHN SAID THIS checked, with both greyhounds to losing momentum.
Race 8 – FABREGAS @ STUD | BT8 | 395 M
NO CLYDE NEEDED and FARMOR ON FIRE were best to begin, REGAL WAZ was marginally slow. Approaching the turn into the back straight, ZENYATTA MISS checked off heels and lost ground. CYNDIE WHO which was trailing was inconvenienced and also lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight GEORGIE MAC which was impeded, checked off heels and lost considerable ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight KLOEIS PRIDE and ZENYATTA MISS checked, causing KLOEIS PRIDE to lose considerable ground. GEORGIE MAC which was trailing was impeded, shifted wide and lost ground as it did.
GEORIE MAC underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 9 – BOX1PHOTOGRAPHY.COM | 5th GRADE | 395 M
BOGAN DOLL was slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight TIME AND PLACE checked, become unbalanced and lost considerable ground as a consequence. Leaving the turn into the back straight POTENTIAL checked off heels and lost considerable ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, POTENTIAL was impeded and lost momentum. MIND YA BUSINESS raced wide through the turn out of the back straight and continued wide through the turn into the front straight.
Race 10 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | 5th Grade | 395 M
HAY HONEY and REGAL JADE were both best to begin. REGAL CYNDIE was very slow. Approaching the first turn DODGY ETHAN was impeded and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight QUEEN REEN checked off heels and lost ground. Shortly after ANOTHER RED shifted in which impeded PINK SUNSET, which checked off the heels of that greyhound and lost considerable ground. In the back straight INDOMINOUS DANE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight DODGY ETHAN which shifted in, impeded PINK SUNSET causing that greyhound to lose significant ground. DODGY ETHAN and REGAL CYNDIE raced tight and checked on numerous occasions through the turn into the front straight, losing momentum as they did.
Race 11 – THE MANLY HOTEL | 5th GRADE | 395 M
SWEET TALKING was best to begin. QUITE SINCERE and DEBREE BONUS were checked and lost ground. Shortly after QUITE SINCERE checked off heels and lost considerable ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight DEBREE BONUS improved onto the heels of BILLY BOY, became imbalanced and lost significant ground. TICTAC CLOUD which was trailing was also inconvenienced and lost significant ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight DEBREE BONUS checked off heels and lost ground. QUITE SINCERE and SWEET TALKING raced tight and checked on numerous occasion just prior to the finish of the race.
Race 12 – ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB | P5 GRADE | 395 M
JEMMA’S MAGIC and POPPYCOCK both were best to begin. HAIGHT ASHBURY and MOOSE MAN were marginally slow. At the first turn POPPYCOCK and JEMMA’S MAGIC checked causing interference to the majority of the field, with JEMMA’S MAGIC checking off heels and then falling shortly after, taking no further competitive part in the race. The entire field with the exemption of POPPYCOCK and CALL ME AUSSIE were inconvenienced as a result of this incident with all losing significant ground as a result. TOOK A SELFIE and CUTE GAMBLER raced tight and checked leaving the turn out of the back straight. Approaching the turn into the front straight CALL ME AUSSIE shifted in which impeded POPPYCOCK which then checked off heels and lost ground.
JEMMA’S MAGIC underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
