Race Reports
Race 1 – MARBURG HOTEL MAIDEN H | MAIDEN | 331M
OUTBACK SHADOW was best to begin. Leaving the first turn RUNNING SCARED and TOKEN DELIGHT were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight OUTBACK SHADOW stumbled, became unbalanced and lost substantial ground as a result. RUNNING SCARED, BAILOUT and JUST HIS STYLE which were trailing, were severally inconvenienced by OUTBACK SHADOW and all lost substantial ground as a consequence. Shortly after BAILOUT stumbled, became severely unbalanced and lost further ground.
RUNNING SCARED underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. OUTBACK SHADOW underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. . Race 2 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM Maiden H | MAIDEN | 331 M
MIXED SPICE was best to begin. DAME ESMERELDA began very awkwardly and as a result was very slow. Immediately after the start, OUTBACK DESTINY, CODRINGTON SPARK and ROSEAVILLA raced tight, resulting in CODRINGTON SPARK falling and taking no further competitive part in the event. Into the turn out of the back straight, OUTBACK DESTINY was tightened for racing room, checked off heels, became unbalanced and lost substantial ground. DAME ESMERELDA and ROSEAVILLA which were trialing that greyhound were severally inconvenienced and lost considerable ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight, MAD INVITE and MIXED SPICE raced tight and checked on multiple occasions through the turn, resulting in both greyhounds losing momentum and ground. ROSEAVILLA shifted out over the closing stages of the event and raced tight with DAME ESMERELDA and MAD INVITE with all three greyhounds bumping on numerous occasions.
CODRINGTON SPARK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND | NOVICE | 331 M
GITCHA QUICK was best to begin. GIFT was marginally slow. PATCH WHELAN raced extremely wide out of the turn of the back straight and continued wide through the turn into the front straight. Leaving the turn into the front straight GITCHA QUICK and GIFT checked.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD Free For All H | OPEN | 331 M
FAB FIT was best to begin. SO CRAZY and WILD SPARK were marginally slow. Leaving the turn into the back straight, WHITE OX shifted in, which inconvenienced COSMO BILL, which was racing to its inside, causing COSMO BILL to lose ground. SO CRAZY and WILD SPARK which was trailing were also inconvenienced, with those greyhounds losing significant ground as a result. Approaching the turn into the front straight, MOCHACHINI MAN checked and lost ground.
Race 5 – TWITTER @BRISGREYS Free For All H | OPEN | 331 M
JET BLACK STAR was best to begin. WAR AT MIDNIGHT and PRECIOUS SAL were marginally slow. Leaving the turn into the back straight, NANNY WHO and KEY FACTOR raced tight and checked, causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight, WAR AT MIDNIGHT collided into the rear of GITCHA ALLEY, causing both greyhounds to lose substantial ground. The rest of the field with the exemption of JET BLACK STAR and FARMOR HEAT were inconvenienced by this, with all losing ground to various degrees. Approaching the turn into the front straight WAR AT MIDNIGHT was impeded and shifted out and losing ground.
Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS Free For All H | OPEN | 331M
CLASSY CHURCHIE and GO LASSIE GO were best to begin. WAZZA WHO was a marginally slow. Shortly after the start CLASSY CHURCHIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. DREAMING DORA which was trialing was inconvenienced and also lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, DREAMING DORA commenced to yield ground and took no further competitive part in the race. Leaving the turn into the front straight, CLASSY CHURCHIE and MAGIC CODE checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY Free For All H | OPEN | 331 M
SHADOW COURT was best to begin. SYFY HERO was slow. Approaching the turn out of the back straight TRAV WHO was checked and lost significant ground. SYFY HERO raced wide through the turn out of the back straight and continued wide through the turn into the front straight.
TRAV WHO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM Free For All H | OPEN | 331M
IMA NECROMANCER was best to begin. In the first turn NAN’S MAGIC was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after DATA BASE and REGAL TRAV were both tightened for racing room and lost ground. ZINCHENKO raced wide through the turn out of the back straight, and continued wide through the turn into the front straight.
RAPID EXPLOSION underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 9 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE Free For All H | OPEN | 331 M
CALL ME UGO was best to begin. CINDY RUMBLE was slow. Approaching the turn out of the back straight MAGIC PLANK checked off heels and lost ground. Shortly after BILLY WHO checked off heels and lost ground. CINDY RUMBLE raced wide in the back straight. Leaving the turn into the front straight, DAISY DREAMS shifted out and collided into SOLO MISSION, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Race 10 – ZILLMERE SPORTS | 4 /5 | 331 M
JIGGLE SPLAT was best to begin. BRINDALEE was marginally slow. Leaving the turn into the back straight MISS ELECTRIC was checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight OUTBACK MANDRAKE checked off heels and lost ground. MISS ELECTRIC raced wide through the turn out of the back straight and continued wide through the turn into the front straight.
Race 11 – SKY RACING | 5 GRADE | 331 M
An even start. In the first turn DELAIR PEARL checked off heels, shifted out and checked into EXCLUSIVE CHLOE, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight RUN MONTY RUN shifted out and checked into BENNETT causing BENNETT to become unbalanced and lose significant ground as a result.
Race 12 – BRISGREYS.COM | 5 GRADE | 331 M
CHASING DIAMONDS and ROSEALIE WHO were best to begin. WAIKARIE SYLVIE began awkwardly and was slow. MASTER DEAN raced wide through the turn out of the back straight.
