Best away was UNIQUE LEIGH with SCANLON and QUALITY JEWEL slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight BONNIE EILEEN and CHEWING SHOES collide. In the back straight CHEWING SHOES was wide, in the home straight QUALITY JEWEL was wide.

 

Race 2 – MARBURG HOTEL | 4 /5 GRADE | 395 M

 

Even start with LILY’S BEAN slowly away. Entering the back straight WESTERN HONEY, INVICTUS CLIVE and CAKES ALL ROUND collide. In the back straight LILY’S BEAN was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight INVICTUS CLIVE and LET’S GO FABIO collide. In the home straight SLEEK STYLE was wide.

 

INVICTUS CLIVE underwent a post-race veterinary examination were no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND | 3 /4 GRADE | 395 M

 

Even start with ZILLIE BEAN slowly away. Entering the back straight SANDLER and CASH FLOW JOE collide causing CASH FLOW JOE to race wide in the back straight. In the home straight SANDLER was wide.

 

Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD | BT8 | 395 M

 

Best away was HALL PASS with CRAZY EMJAY slowly away. Entering the back straight DOUBLE OAK and THANKS NELLY collide, in the back straight WAIKARIE NOEL was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight KULU DOT COM and DOUBLE OAK collide causing KULU DOT COM to drop back in the home straight. CRAZY EMJAY was wide.

Race 5 – ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5th Grade H | 5 GRADE | 520 M

 

Best away was GYPSY WILD with ANJALIE slowly away. Entering the back straight IZY MAGIC checked of the heels of ABSOLUTELY FAB, in the back straight EMULATING CHLOE is wide. Entering the turn into the home straight STOP THE IMAGE and ANJALIE collide, causing ANJALIE to race wide in the home straight.

 

Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE BOARDING KENNELS 5th Grade H | 5 GRADE | 520 M

 

Best away was SANDSHOE and IRISH RIPPLE with HARA’S SHADOW slowly away. Soon after the start EL DOUBLE ONE and KULU OZZIE collide. Entering the turn out of the home straight IRISH RIPPLE and ALPHA ULYSSES collide causing ALPHA ULYSSES to shift out checking HARA’S SHADOW. On the turn out of the home straight FELICI BEACH and HOOT collide. In the back straight HARA’S SHADOW was wide, in the home straight KULU OZZIE was wide.

Even start with EYE LIKE CAKE slowly away. In the home straight in the first occasion EYE LIKE CAKE checked of the heels of VELOCITY MELINKA causing EYE LIKE CAKE to stumble and take no further competitive part in the event. Entering the turn out of the home straight ELUSIVE STAR and CHELSEA collide. In the back straight and home straight EYE HATE CAKE was wide.

 

Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | 5 GRADE | 600M

 

Even start with ALPHA CHAOS slowly away. Entering the turn into the home straight in the first occasion KULU HIPSTER and KENDALL collide. Entering the turn out of the home straight KULU CHANCE and KENDALL collide. In the home straight RULE THE ROAD was wide.

SCIPIO AFRICANUS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and found to have an injured a near stopper pad and stood down for 7 days.
