Race 1 – GARRARD’S HORSEAND HOUND  MAIDEN GRADE 520M

Shortly after the start STEVICK and I’M NOT OSCAR collide resulting in both greyhounds being checked and lose ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight SIMPLY SMOOTH and TRIBAL GIRL collide, resulting in TRIBAL GIRL to be checked shift out and collide with I’M NOT OSCAR, which resulted in TRIBAL GIRL and I’M NOT OSCAR to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight and in the front straight SIMPLY SMOOTH turned its head and marred the running of ZIEGFELD on a number of occasions, resulting both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. SIMPLY SMOOTH was stood down from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and must trial to the Stewards Satisfaction on one occasion before returning to racing (Rule 69).

TRIBAL GIRL- underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the N/S Pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 2 –THIRTY TALKS @ STUD Grade  NOVICE  520M

Shortly after the start SUEN’S BOY was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight PROPOSAL and CHERRY WINE collide resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight COYBIG shifted out which hampered the running of RED HOT GOSSIP.  Entering the back straight COYBIG improved onto the heels of SUEN’S BOY and was momentarily hampered.  Leaving the back straight CHERRY WINE and COYBIG collided which resulted in COYBIG to be checked and to lose ground.

Race 3 –TWITTER @BRISGREYS MAIDEN5  395 M

ALOTA DAGZ was slow to begin.  Through the first turn Sandler was tightened for racing room and lost ground, BIG TURLS which was trailing was checked as consequence and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight CORY’S DIAMOND was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  ALOTA DAGZ commenced to give ground in the back straight and raced wide rounding the turn and into the front straight.  Rounding the turn and out of the back straight STANKY LEG checked across heels and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight SANDLER and GRAND ANGEL bumped on a number of occasions. In the later stages of the race GRAND ANGEL and STANKY LEG collide.

ALOTA DAGZ - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the back and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 4 –EXPAT LODGE  4 /5 GRADE 395 M

Through the first turn WESTERN HONEY shifted out, which hampered the running RICE’S LEGACY.  CASH TRAIL raced wide entering the back straight.  DAZE LIKE THESE commenced to give ground in the back straight finishing a considerable distance from the remainder of the field.

Daze Like These - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 5 –BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY  5 GRADE  600 M

POLLY’S MAID slipped on the mat and lost early ground.  NELLS BELLS was slow to begin.  Approaching the turn in the front straight on the first occasion NELLS BELLS was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  OHIO FERNANDO commenced to lose ground in the front straight on the first occasion to eventually retire from the race.

Ohio Fernando - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hock and was humanely euthanized.

Race 6 –GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM 5th Grade H  5 GRADE  520 M

In the front straight on the first occasion DONNA RUMBLE and EL DOUBLE ONE collide.  Leaving the front straight MANDELA CLOUD and EL DOUBLE ONE collide, resulting in   EL DOUBLE ONE to be checked and lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight MANDELA CLOUD improved onto the hind quarters of EL DOUBLE ONE resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight TAIL WAG and HUNTER KINGSBRAE collide.  Leaving the back straight CORAZON WOMAN was tightened for racing room checked and lost ground, MANDELA CLOUD and EL DOUBLE ONE which were trailing and were checked as a consequence and lost ground. 

Race 7 –FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5th Grade H  5 GRADE  520 M

Shortly after the start SMASHNIAK DOUBLE shifted out which tightened the racing room of TORAH SPRITE and MONICA’S JOY.  In the front straight on the first occasion ANJALIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the front straight SMASHNIAK DOUBLE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  MONICA’S JOY, FELICI BEACH and ANJALIE which were all trialling were checked as a consequence and lost ground.   Rounding the turn out of the front straight FARMOR INFERNO improved onto the heels of SWEET TALKING which resulted in that greyhound to shift out as a consequence RINGBARK ROSE improved on to the hind quarters SWEET TALKING which resulted in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.

Sweet Talking - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 8 –ZILLMERE SPORTS  BT8 GRADE  395 M

BACK PLAY’s muzzle displaced shortly after the start.  NEVER A DOUBT was tightened for racing room and lost ground approaching the first turn.  Approaching the turn in the back straight WHITE OX was tightened for racing room and lost ground. CRAZY EMJAY raced wide raced wide for the majority of the event.  In the front straight over the concluding stages MISS AMELIA was tightened for racing room. 

Race 9 –SKY RACING  4 /5 GRADE  331 M

Entering the back straight GITCHA ALLEY and TIME AND PLACE collide resulting in TIME AND PLACE to be severely checked and fall taking no further part in race and GITCHA ALLEY losing ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight POWER SERVICE and SHORT SESSION collide resulting both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Entering the front straight GITCHA ALLEY checked across heels and lost ground.

Time and Place - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 10 – BRISGREYS.COM  5 GRADE  331 M

No racing incidents to report.

Call Me Aussie- underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
