Race 1 – Garrard’s Horse and Hound Maiden H | Grade M | 520m Preferred Lies – received interference on the turn out of the front straight, and lost ground. Queen Tina – received interference rounding the turn out of the front straight, and lost ground. Jimary Turbo – slow to begin. Received interference rounding the turn out of the front straight and was momentarily hampered. Received interference on the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. Race 2 – Thirty Talks @ Stud Maiden H | Grade M | 520m Techno Hornet – tightened over the concluding stages, and was momentarily held up for clear running. Pearl Za Diamond – momentarily hampered rounding the turn into the front straight. French Frolic – shifted out rounding the turn into the front straight, tightened for racing room over the concluding stages. Apache – tightened for racing room over the concluding stages when it collided with another runner. Shian Rusty – went up with the lids and was slow to begin. Race 3 – Twitter @BRISGREYS | Grade NOV | 520m Angel Gear – collided with another runner in the front straight on the first occasion and lost ground; collided with another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Suen’s Boy – collided with another runner in the front straight, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Where’s The Lady – collided with another runner, was checked as a consequence and lost ground in the back straight. Bago Bluff – collided with another runner in the front straight, was checked as a consequence and lost ground; approaching the turn into the back straight, collided with another runner, was checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight, was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after, collided with another runner, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. In the front straight at the concluding stages, was held up for clear running. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Beckoning Candle – rounding the turn out of the back straight, collided with another runner and lost ground. Race 4 – Expat Lodge | Grade R/W | 600m Red Hot Gossip – collided with another runner in the front straight during the later stages of the race, and lost ground. Calypso Bay – tightened for racing room approaching the turn into the back straight, and lost ground. Collided with another runner in the front straight in the later stages of the race and was momentarily hampered. Galway Panther – was tightened by another runner shortly after the start and lost ground. Raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. Race 5 – Box 1 Photography | Grade 4/5 | 395m Zephyr Zip – was tightened for racing room rounding the turn out of the back straight and momentarily hampered. Miss Beckboo – was momentarily hampered when its heels were contacted by another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight. Shifted out in the back straight. Farcelona Fenix – contacted another runners heels rounding the turn into the back straight. Tightened for racing room in the back straight and lost ground. Raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. Let’s Go Fabio – tightened for racing room through the first turn and lost ground. Smart Marlow – checked by another runner rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. Race 6 – Greyhound Adoption Program 5th Grade H | Grade 5 | 520m Sorrento – collided with another runner shortly after the start, and was checked as a consequence. Leaving the back straight, improved onto the heels of Genie’s Girl and was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Always Albury – gave ground over the final stages of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no obvious abnormalities were found. When questioned over the performance, trainer Ms C. Suttle explained that Always Albury was having its first race start over the 520 metres and failed to run out the distance. She stated that it would be her intention to continue racing Always Albury over the 520 metres, as she is of the view that the greyhound will get stronger with future racing. Bow Wow Wow – collided with another runner shortly after the start and lost ground. Was tightened for racing room entering the back straight and lost ground. Genie’s Girl – its heels were contacted by another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination, which failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Light The Barbie – tightened for racing room rounding the turn out of the front straight and lost ground. Race 7 – Sky Racing 5th Grade H | Grade 5 | 520m Exclusive Chloe – was tightened for racing room rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground. Passing Nova – was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground leaving the front straight. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the back straight, was checked and lost ground. Brittany Talks – was tightened for racing room leaving the front straight on the first occasion, checked and lost ground. Big Little Lies – was checked shortly after the start when tightened for racing room, and lost ground. Collided with another runner in the front straight, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. In the back straight, had its heels contacted by another runner, was checked and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Nan’s Magic – was tightened for racing room shortly after the start and lost ground. Collided with another runner in the front straight, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Gypsy Wild – tightened for racing room shortly after the start, collided with another runner, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Race 8 – Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge | Grade FFA | 520m Alpha Themis – tightened for racing room leaving the front straight, checked as a consequence and lost ground. Collided with another runner approaching the turn into the back straight and lost ground. Momentarily hampered round the turn out of the back straight. Nilly Nelly – contacted by another runner leaving the front straight and lost ground. Money For Jam – tightened for racing room leaving the front straight, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Alpha Chaos – was contacted by another runner round the turn out of the front straight and lost ground. Contacted by another runner approaching the turn into the back straight and lost ground. Tightened for racing room round the turn out of the back straight and lost ground. Farmor Image – contacted by another runner rounding the turn out of the front straight and was momentarily hampered. Contacted by another runner round the turn out of the back straight, and lost considerable ground. Race 9 – BRISGREYS.COM | Grade BT8 | 395m Arabella Emjay – went up with the lids and was slow to begin. Checked through the first turn and lost ground. Contacted another runner round the turn out of the back straight, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. Data Base – was tightened for racing room through the first turn. Collided with another runner in the back straight and lost ground. I’m Glad – tightened for racing room through the first turn and lost ground. Collided with another runner in the back straight and lost ground. So Crazy – collided with another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Collided with another runner and was severely checked as a result and lost considerable ground round the turn out of the back straight. Regal Waz – was slow to begin. Race 10 – TAB | Grade 4/5 | 331m Harry’s Legend – proved difficult to be boxed, and will be declared a ‘hard to box’ dog for future race starts. Miss Paige Mac – was tightened for racing room in the back straight and lost ground. Jimmy Stintson – was tightened for racing room rounding the turn into the front straight and was momentarily hampered. Penumbra – collided with another runner entering the back straight, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. Race 11 – Zillmere Sports | Grade M5 | 395m Little Livewire – was tightened for racing room entering the back straight and lost ground. Collided with another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight and lost ground. Smashniak Winx – was slow to begin. Contacted the heels of another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off-side pin, and was stood down from racing for a period of 7 days. Son Of Betty – was slow to begin. Had its heels contacted by another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Pawfection – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off-side hock, and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.
