Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have broken the near fore leg and was humanly euthanised. Winsome Ethan (3) – Checked and hampered in the back straight. Shifted out, checked and lost ground rounding the turn into the back straight. It All Cheeky (4) – Bumped and hampered in the first turn. Cyclone Penny (5) - Bumped and hampered in the first turn. Checked and lost ground approaching the finishing line. Demon within (7) – Bumped and hampered in the first turn. Lady Kenzie (8) – Checked and hampered approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have cramped during the race. Trainer M. Salmoni was advised the greyhound would be stood down for 10 days under GAR 71 and must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to being permitted to race again.
