Race 1 – MARBURG HOTEL MAIDEN HEAT 1 Grade M 331m (1) Daydreaming – checked across heels approaching the turn into the front straight. (2) Blue Barcia – checked approaching the first turn. (9/8) Riley Roo – hampered approaching the turn into the front straight.
Race 2 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM MAIDEN HEAT 2 Grade M 331m (1) Magic Ash – slow to begin. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the back straight. (7) Ready To Burst – collided with another runner approaching the turn into the front straight. Collided with another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. (8) Moon Goddess – slow to begin. Had its heels contacted by another runner and was checked as a consequence entering the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination, which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. (9/5) Sushi – marginally slow to begin. Had its heels contacted by another runner entering the back straight. Collided with another runner approaching the turn into the front straight. Collided with another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination, which revealed it to have injured its off side hock, and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND Grade NOV 331m (2) Fabregas Star – was hampered leaving the back straight when it had its heels contacted by another runner. (3) Misty Turn – hampered when it contacted the heels of another runner leaving the back straight. (8) Good Boy Ivan – was slow to begin.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD Grade P5 331m (1) Willy Toula – slow to muster speed after the start. Tightened and checked leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination, which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. (6) Crow Nulla – fell shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination, which failed to reveal any apparent injuries.
Race 5 – TWITTER @BRISGREYS Grade 4/5 331m (1) Coopes – tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground entering the back straight. Checked leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. When questioned over the performance, trainer Steven Scott said the greyhound was having its first race start since the 11th January 2019, and had trialled well leading up to the race. He stated that in his view, Coopes is better suited drawn in a wider box, as the greyhound prefers to race in the open spaces. He stated, Coopes was tightened on two separate occasions, which contributed to its overall finishing position. (2) Tight Circle – checked entering the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. (7) Barbie Doll – checked entering the back straight. (8) Miss Greer – checked rounding the turn out of the back straight.
Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE Grade 4 331m (1) Hall Pass – raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. (4) Penumbra – checked leaving the back straight. (5) Follow The Duk – checked entering the back straight. (6) Opal Beach – checked entering the back straight. Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. (7) Harbour Drive – checked leaving the back straight.
Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY Grade 2/3 331m (1) Call Me Ugo – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off hind toe, and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. (2) Indian Ruby – delayed the start and proved difficult to box. Was declared a hard to box dog for future events. (3) Ramblin' Rose – checked leaving the back straight. (4) Kooringa Theo – raced wide in the front straight. (5) Zulu Beat – collided with another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. (6) Red Vee – collided with another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. (7) Elegant Duk – checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. (8) Harry's Legend – slow to begin.
Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM Grade 1/2 331m (2) Magic Plank – checked entering the back straight. (3) All About Tiger – collided with another runner for a majority of the back straight. Checked leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. (6) Rapid Blaze – checked entering the back straight. (7) Short Session – collided with another runner leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries. (8) Farmor Heat – collided with another runner for a majority of the back straight. Checked leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any apparent injuries.
Race 9 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE FINAL Grade 5 331m (1) Bust 'Em Up – marginally slow to begin. (2) Vini Villa – marginally slow to begin. (4) Ryall – checked leaving the back straight. (7) Bella Cette – marginally slow to begin. (8) Regal Regard – checked leaving the back straight.
Race 10 – ZILLMERE SPORTS Grade 4/5 395m (1) Can't Possibly – checked rounding the turn into the back straight. (3) Smashniak Double – checked rounding the turn into the back straight. (7) Cometron Flyer – severely checked when marred by another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. (8) Emmaville Bella – severely checked when marred by another runner rounding the turn into the front straight. (9/2) Lafai – severely checked when it turned its head and marred other runners rounding the turn into the front straight. Charged under GAR Rule 69 for Marring, and stood down from racing at Albion Park for a period of 28 days, and must complete one Satisfactory Stewards trial.
Race 11 – THE MANLY HOTEL Grade 5 331m (3) You Go There – checked approaching the turn out of the back straight. Checked approaching the turn into the front straight. (5) Farmor No Fear – checked approaching the turn out of the back straight. (6) Tommy's Beach – slow to begin. Collided with another runner approaching the turn into the front straight. (7) Peggalicious – gave ground over the concluding stages of the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound had cramped during the running of the race, and had injured its near side shoulder, and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days and will need to complete one Satisfactory Stewards trial under GAR Rule 71.
