Race 1 – MARBURG HOTEL | Grade M | 520m (2) Hay Chickie – best to begin. (4) Always Forever – significantly inconvenienced by another runner leaving the back straight. Inconvenienced by another runner that shifted in leaving the turn into the front straight. (5) Shian Cody – impeded then checked immediately after the start. Severely checked by another runner in the back straight. Collided with another runner leaving the back straight. (6) Winsome Ethan – inconvenienced by another runner leaving the first turn. Impeded approaching the back straight and lost momentum. (8) It Ain't Wazza – very slow to begin. Shifted in then collided with another runner leaving the first turn. Shifted out and collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked. Checked off heels leaving the back straight. Shifted in and checked with another runner racing to its inside leaving the turn into the front straight.
Race 2 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM | Grade NOV | 520m (1) Fabian Feast – inconvenienced leaving the first turn, then severely checked immediately after. Checked by another runner that shifted in leaving the back straight. (2) Coominya Style – raced very wide through the turn into the front straight. (4) Twisted Mischief – checked off heels leaving the first turn. (5) Stern – best to begin. (6) Dame Esmerelda – began awkwardly and as a result was slow. Checked by another runner that shifted in leaving the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injuries.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND | Grade P5 | 520m (1) Mahoney – best to begin. Shifted out sharply across heels approaching the first turn. (4) Mixed Spice – impeded approaching the first turn and lost momentum. Checked off heels approaching the turn into the front straight. (7) Somers Lane – marginally slow to begin. (8) Disco Dolly – marginally slow to begin.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD | Grade 3/4 | 520m (2) Zenyatta Miss – best to begin (3) Super Cesc - Inconvenienced by runner that shifted out at the first turn and lost momentum (4) Nikki Nettle – impeded in the front straight on the first occasion and lost momentum (7) Power Service – inconvenienced and checked at the first turn (8) Gypsy Wild – checked approaching the back straight
Race 5 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS | Grade 5 | 520m (1) Flyaway Barb – raced tight and checked with another runner on a number of occasions through the first turn. (2) Spotted Wolf – momentarily impeded immediately after the start. Raced tight and checked with another runner on a number of occasions through the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off side hip, and was stood down from racing for a period of 7 days. (3) Mako Mac – best to begin. (7) Dixie Louise – marginally slow to begin. Checked approaching the back straight.
Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE | Grade 5 | 520m (1) Tobacco King – significantly checked approaching the first turn. Shifted out and raced tight with another runner through the first turn, bumping on a number of occasions and losing substantial ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to its chest muscle, and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. (3) Sonic Boom – impeded and lost momentum approaching the first turn. Severely inconvenienced by another runner through the first turn. (7) Doreas – significantly checked shortly after the start. (8) Bee Solo – marginally slow to begin. Shifted in sharply in the front straight on the first occasion and collided with a number of other runners.
Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY | Grade R/W | 600m (1) Saphoni – quick to begin. (2) Red Hot Gossip – checked off heels approaching the turn into the front straight on the first occasion. Checked off heels approaching the turn into the back straight. (4) Passing Nova – inconvenienced by another runner approaching the turn into the front straight. Checked off heels leaving the back straight. (5) Monica's Joy – quick to begin. (8) Tienne Tea – significantly inconvenienced approaching the turn into the front straight.
Race 8 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | Grade BT8 | 395m (1) Blue Texada – significantly checked approaching the back straight. Severely checked by another runner leaving the turn out of the back straight. (4) Farmor On Fire – best to begin. (5) Never A Doubt – checked approaching the turn into the back straight. (6) No Clyde Needed – marginally slow to begin. (8) Hara's Flame – significantly checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
Race 9 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE | Grade 4/5 | 395m (3) Gold Grace – best to begin. (4) Exclusive Chloe – checked at the first turn. Significantly checked leaving the first turn. Bumped with another runner leaving the turn into the front straight. (5) Cosmo Cyndie – impeded through the first turn. (6) Chewing Shoes – tightened then checked at the first turn. (7) Fernando Bee – checked at the first turn. Significantly checked leaving the first turn. Bumped with another runner leaving the turn into the front straight. (8) Miss Grasscutter – inconvenienced leaving the first turn. Proved difficult to be placed in the box, and as a result was deemed to be boxed first in future races.
Race 10 – ZILLMERE SPORTS | Grade M5 | 395m (2) Lil Miss Pinky – raced very wide in the front straight. (5) Mandela Cloud – checked approaching the first turn. Impeded approaching the turn into the front straight. (6) Western Honey – best to begin. (7) Smart Shirl – marginally slow to begin. Checked approaching the first turn. (9/4) Cory's Diamond – marginally slow to begin. Checked approaching the turn out of the back straight.
