Bumped in the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injuries. (4) French Frolic – checked in the first turn. (5) Jasper The Jet – best away. (6) Morris The Great – bumped in the front straight. (9/3) It Ain’t Len – marginally slow away. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a nearside hip injury, and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
Race 2 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM | Grade NOV | 520m (1) Accolade Royal – best away. (4) Never – checked in the first turn. Checked approaching the turn into the back straight. (6) Broich – clipped heels shortly after the start. Checked in the first turn. Turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with another runner approaching the turn into the back straight. Was charged under GAR 69 for Marring (1st Offence), and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards Trial prior to resuming racing.
