Race 1 - FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE NOVICE (1) - 520m 2 Benny's Assassin - tightened between runners when approaching the first turn, was severely checked, almost fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 4 Logan Belle - tightened between runners shortly after the start and was hampered. Tightened between runners when approaching the first turn and was checked. 5 For Too Long - slow to begin. Bumped by other runners when approaching the first turn and was checked. Bumped with Zipping Cosmo on a number of occasions through the turn into the home straight and lost ground. 6 Velocity Bettina - tightened between runners shortly after the start and was hampered. Improved onto heels when approaching the first turn, was severely checked and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 8 Zipping Cosmo – shifted inwards approaching the first turn, bumped with other runners and lost ground. Bumped with For Too Long on a number of occasions through the turn into the home straight and lost ground.
Race 2 – SKY RACING NOVICE (2) - 520m 2 Emmaville Miner - bumped by French Frolic shortly after the start. Bumped by French Frolic when rounding the home turn. 3 French Frolic - bumped with Emmaville Miner shortly after the start. 5 Neighbour's Gift – began slowly and bumped with Morris The Great. Raced wide for a majority of the event. 6 Morris The Great - began slowly and bumped with Neighbour’s Gift.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND FFA - 600m 2 Elusive Star - tightened between runners shortly after the start and was hampered. When questioned on the performance of the greyhound trainer Brian Baker stated that after receiving early interference he expected Elusive Star to make ground over the later stages of the event. Considering this he further added that he was disappointed with its efforts in those later stages and expected a better showing. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. 5 Kendall – bumped by Miss Gingin through the turn into the home straight and lost ground.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD MIXED 4/5 - 710m 2 Times A Bonus – checked off heels shortly after the start. Checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight on the second occasion.
Race 5 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MIXED 3/4 - 520m 1 Super Cesc - contacted the heels of another runner when approaching the first turn and was hampered. Tightened for room when rounding the turn into the back straight, lost ground and bumped with another runner. Checked off heels when rounding the turn into the home straight and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when entering the home straight and was hampered. 2 Peta Gledhill – contacted on the heels by another runner when approaching the first turn and was hampered. 3 Chief Fernando - tightened between runners when approaching the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when entering the home straight and was hampered. 4 Too Good Joog – slow to begin.
Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 - 520m 1 Hunter Kingsbrae - tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight and was hampered. 5 Deep Impact - bumped by another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and was checked. 6 Redeal - bumped by another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and was checked. 7 Crazy Bella - tightened between runners when rounding the turn out of the back straight and was hampered. 8 Shake An' Show - bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight and was hampered.
Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 - 520m 2 Bee Solo – shifted inwards shortly after the start, contacted heels and became momentarily unbalanced. 6 Mitchell John – checked off heels rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. 7 Brother Desy – raced wide for a majority of the event.
Race 8 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE BEST 8 - 520m 2 Infrared Star – bumped with Nangar Diva when rounding the turn out of the back straight. 5 Silver Stunner – slow to begin. 7 Nangar Diva – slow to begin. Checked off heels rounding the turn out of the front straight. Bumped the running rail when rounding the turn out of the back straight, then bumped with Infrared Star, which was racing to its outside. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 8 Brandi Alexander – slow to begin.
Race 9 – TWITTER @ BRISGREYS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 - 520m 1 Top Villa – checked across shortly after the start and lost ground. Shifted out across heels when approaching the first turn, collided with other runners, was severely checked and almost fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have an injury to the nearside pin muscle and was stood down for 7 days. 3 Nangar Gift – shifted out across heels when approaching the first turn, bumped with Velostar and lost ground. Contacted on the hindquarters when rounding the first turn and was checked. 4 Accolade Royal – tightened between runners shortly the start and was checked. Collided with Top Villa and was checked when that runner shifted out while rounding the first turn. 8 Velostar - slow to begin. Bumped by Nangar Gift when approaching the turn out of the front straight and lost ground. Collided with Accolade Royal and Top Villa and was checked when those runners collided and shifted out while rounding the first turn.
Race 10 – TAB MA5 - 520m 6 Mahoney – bumped with Alpha Chaos when entering the first turn and was hampered. 7 Alpha Chaos – bumped with Mahoney when entering the first turn and was hampered. 8 Belvedere Babe – raced wide for a majority of the event. 9 Spring Forte – checked across heels and lost ground when entering the home straight.
