Other Comments / Explanations: Mr R. Hazelgrove reported to stewards that the greyhound Data Base pulled up sore with a hock injury after being engaged in Race 7 Monday the 26th August.
Race 1 - FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE MAIDEN (1) 2 395m 1 DELROY BOY- Had its heels contacted through the turn into the home straight. Bumped on a number of occasions in the home straight by a runner to its inside. 3 FOXTON HAYMAKER- Collided with another runner into the first turn and was checked 4 MAGIC BILLY- Contacted heels through the turn into the home straight. Bumped on a number of occasions in the home straight by a runner to its outside 5 ANGRY HURRICANE- Collided with another runner into the first turn and was checked. Tightened for room entering the turn out of the back straight. 6 ANGRY MONSOON- Collided with another runner into the first turn and was checked. 7 ETERNAL FLAME- Collided with another runner into the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner just before the finish line and was checked.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN (2) 2 395m 1 AZURE GAMBLER- Slow to begin. 3 KOORINGA KENDAL- Hampered entering the turn out of the back straight. 5 CANNED HEAT- Collided with another runner through the turn out of the back straight and was checked. 6 KING HAROLD- Collided with another runner through the turn out of the back straight and was checked forcing the greyhound wide. 7 EXPAT NOVA- Bumped with another runner entering first turn and again in the back straight. 8 KING BLUE- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked.
Race 3 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m 3 IT AIN'T LEN- Slow to begin. Bumped entering the back straight. 4 ANGRY RAIN- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Checked in back straight. 5 CILLA PREVAILS- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 9 (Box 6) CALL ME EGO- Collided with another runner entering the first turn. Checked with another greyhound through the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a pot race veterinary expiration which failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Race 4 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUDNOVICE 2 395m 2 GOLLY GOODNESS- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 3 STATUE SIS- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. 4 WINSOME ETHAN- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 5 SANDPAPER SMITHY- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 6 LENNY TALKS- Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked.
Race 5 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND GRADE 5 2 395m 2 MINOR DETAILS- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 3 CANDY SPARKLES- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 4 COCONUT LASS- Wide throughout. 5 MOSCOW MULE- Quick to begin. 6 MISSY FERGUS- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 7 ORANGE GAMBLER- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 8 CALL ME WOLF- Checked at the start.
Race 6 – EXPAT LODGE GRADE 4 2 395m 4 VOLCANIC WINTER- Slow to begin. 5 SWEET TALKING- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked. 7 VINI VILLA- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Checked in the home straight. 8 SAVOY GAMBLER- Tightened for room through the turn out of the back straight. Checked out across heels entering the home straight.
Race 7 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 3 520m 1 TIGHT CIRCLE- Tightened for room entering the turn out of the back straight. 4 OUR SASSY GYPSY- Was very slow to begin. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke with connections regarding the greyhounds manners when leaving the boxes. Stewards charged the greyhound acting under rule GAR71 and requested the greyhound trial to the stewards satisfaction before being able to nominate for future events. 5 KINGSBRAE CLARKY- Checked off heels entering the first turn. 6 MY BRO FREDO- Collided with another runner entering the home straight and was checked. 7 YOGI BEAR- Checked at the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near hip support and was stood down for a period of 14 days. Connections advised stewards that they intend on giving the greyhound a spell for approx. 6 weeks.
Race 8 – FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 395m 2 FABIAN FEAST- Slow to begin. 4 PITCH BLACK JET- Collided with another runner out of the first turn and was checked. Bumped over the concluding stages of the event. 5 HOPE SAID- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Bumped over the concluding stages of the event. 6 NALA'S BOY- Hampered entering the turn out of the back straight. 7 MASTER KINLOCH- Quick to begin.
Race 9 – TWITTER @BRISGREYS MIXED 2/3 2 395m 4 MAGIC CODE- Checked off heels in the back straight. 5 CAPTAIN'S KNOCK- Checked shortly after the start. Hampered entering the turn out of the back straight.
Race 10 – TAB MIXED 4/5 2 395m 3 HARA'S SHADOW- Tightened for room entering the turn out of the back straight and checked. 4 LOGAN'S RUN- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 5 OODLES OF NOODLE- Quick to begin. 6 TOOK A FERGUS- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 7 MANDELA CLOUD- Collided with another runner after the start and was checked. Race 11 – BRISGREYS.COM 5PW 2 395m 1 KENATAY- Slow to begin. 2 NO RESPECT- Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked. Collided with another runner entering turn out of the back straight. 4 HE'S NEVER HERE- Collided with another runner entering turn out of the back straight. 6 BEAU'S IMAGE- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Forced wide entering the home straight. 8 HAY HONEY- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after pulling up lame in the catching pen which revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months. 9 (Box 5) OUTBACK MANDRAKE- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked.
Race 12 – BRISGREYS ON INSTAGRAM MIXED 4/5 2 331m 2 STEVO'S BAD BOY- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Checked entering the home straight. 3 FAWN YOGI BLUE- Collided with another runner entering turn out of the back straight. 4 CHASING DIAMONDS- Collided with another runner entering turn out of the back straight. 5 FABATIME- Quick to begin. 7 OUTA YETTA- Collided with another runner entering turn out of the back straight. Checked entering the home straight. Wide in home straight. 8 SENOR DYLAN- Had its heels contacted shortly after the start.
