Trainer Mrs K. Hoggan reported that the greyhound Where’s She Gone who raced Saturday 7th September at Ipswich has injured its offside hock and stopper bone and is currently receiving veterinary treatment.
Race 1 - ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB MAIDEN (1) 2 395m 3 Bohemian Chariot- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Had its heels contacted in the back straight. 4 Flying September- Checked at the start. 5 Biscuit Benz- Shifted in at the start and was severely checked. Wide through the turn into the home straight. 6 Sizing Platinum- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Checked off heels in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any abnormalities. 9 Danilo- Raced wide throughout. Race 2 – FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE MAIDEN (2) 2 395m 1 Farmor Coronas- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days. 2 Jaunty- Checked off heels through the turn into the home straight. 4 Tipsy Talk- Collided with another runner through the turn into the home straight and was checked. 7 Lil Bit Foxy- Collided with another runner through the turn into the home straight and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any abnormalities. 8 Codrington Spark- Had it heels contacted through the turn into the home straight. Race 3 – SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m 1 Car Fifty Four- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 2 Audible Warning- Hampered entering the turn out of the back straight. 3 Dame Esmerelda- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 10 Lynney Sure Can- Slow to begin. Race 4 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (1) 2 395m 1 Wee Yes Sam- Shifted out to avoid heels in the home straight. 4 Kent Kilowatt- Quick to begin. Race 5 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE (2) 2 395m 1 Last Drink- Tightened for room into the first turn and was hampered. 2 Pads And Paws- Tightened for room into the first turn and was hampered. 3 Gunn Run- Tightened for room into the first turn and was hampered. 4 Take A Chance- Tightened for room into the first turn and was hampered. Shifted out to avoid heels entering the turn out of the back straight. 6 Gris Gambler- Tightened for room into the first turn and was hampered. 7 Farmor Millers- Tightened for room into the first turn and was hampered. Race 6 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND 5PW 2 395m 1 Reckless Kid- Bumped with another runner entering the home straight. 2 Hara's Dash- Quick to begin. 3 Tada- Slow to begin. 4 Mista Kick- Bumped with another runner entering the home straight Race 7 – EXPAT LODGE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 395m 3 Let's Go Fabio- Hampered in running through the first turn. 5 Coconut Lass- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked causing the greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near pin muscle and was stood down for a period of 7 days. 6 Sam's Way- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 9 Just Don't Know- Slow to begin. Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Race 8 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 3 520m 2 Master Kinloch- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 4 Pay The Ace- Bumped entering the first turn. 5 Where's The Lady- Quick to begin. 7 Scanlon- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. 8 Mel Buzz- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Hampered entering the turn out of the back straight. 4 Cage To Rattle- Checked at the start. 5 Lenny Talks- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Collided with the running rail and was severely checked. underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to nearside sesamoid and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Race 12 – HAMILTON HOTEL MIXED 4/5 2 331m 1 Black Scorpion- Tightened for room in the back straight and was hampered. 2 Peggalicious- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Checked in the back straight. Checked off heels through the turn into the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke the connections of the greyhound regarding the greyhounds performance in the home straight. Connections advised stewards that they intend on retiring the greyhound after tonight performance. 4 Destini Comet- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked 6 Hay Chickie- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Checked entering the turn out of the back straight. 7 Pancho Not Lefty- Quick to begin. 8 Sylvan- Slow to begin.
