Race 1 - TAB GOLDEN GREYS SUMMER CARNIVAL NOVICE 520m 1 Zuleika – marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels when rounding the first turn.
2 Annika – galloped on the heels by another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.
4 Mahogany Row – marginally slow to begin. Bumped the running rail in the front straight on the first occasion and lost ground. Collided with another runner when rounding the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
5 Misty Haze – raced tight, and bumped on several occasions, with another runner in the front straight, resulting in Misty Haze to lose ground.
6 Magic Miss – bumped by another runner at the start and lost ground. Raced wide round the first turn.
7 Wildash Wizard – raced tight, and bumped on several occasions, with another runner in the front straight, resulting in Wildash Wizard to lose ground. Checked inwards off heels when approaching the first turn, collided with another, was severely checked and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind cruciate ligament and was issued a stand down of 90 days. Wildash Wizard was transported to a veterinary clinic for further scans and treatment. Trainer Bob Giltinan will be advised to furnish the results of the scans to Stewards as soon as practicable and that a veterinary certificate of fitness must be produced prior the greyhound competing again.
8 Bill's Out – bumped with another runner at the start. Bumped with another runner when approaching the first turn.
Race 2 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MIXED 4/5 520m 2 Fireball Sam – checked off heels when approaching the first turn.
3 Dahomey Windsong – bumped with another runner when approaching the first turn, commenced to lose ground and tailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hind back muscle and was stood down for 28 days. Trainer Mickey Mclennan was advised a veterinary certificate must be provided prior to the greyhound racing again.
4 Kulu Jasper – checked off heels when approaching the first turn.
6 Emmaville Flyer – slow to begin.
8 Short Pork – slow to begin. Tightened for room and checked over the concluding stages of the event.
Race 3 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE GOLDEN TICKET (G3) HEAT 1 OPEN 520m 3 Sennachie – best begin. Bumped with Sequana over the concluding stages.
5 Sequana – momentarily hampered approaching the first turn. Bumped with Sennachie over the concluding stages.
7 Nangar Gift – slow to begin.
Race 4 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE GOLDEN TICKET (G3) HEAT 2 OPEN 520m 1 Defy – Checked off heels when rounding the turn into the home straight.
3 Fernando Blaster – began awkwardly.
5 Cooper Dooper – began awkwardly.
7 Infrared Star – momentarily hampered approaching the first turn, shifted outwards and lost ground.
Race 5 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE GOLDEN TICKET (G3) HEAT 3 OPEN 520m 1 Infrared Lad – checked off heels when approaching the first turn. Tightened for room when rounding the turn into the home straight, checked off heels and lost ground.
5 Dynamite Lucy – tightened for room when approaching the first turn and was momentarily hampered.
Race 6 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE GOLDEN TICKET (G3) HEAT 4 OPEN 520m 1 Zipping Cosmo – best to begin.
3 Nangar Diva – marginally slow to begin. Checked out off heels when entering the back straight.
7 Brandi Alexander – marginally slow to begin.
Race 7 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND MIXED 3/4 520m 1 Crazy Bella – raced wide in the back straight.
2 She's Some Gal – tightened between runners in the front straight on the first occasion, was checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination and did not reveal any abnormalities.
5 Logan City – tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight, was momentarily hampered and lost ground.
6 Phantom Razor – marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels shortly after the start. Improved onto the heels of another runner when approaching the first turn, was severely checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination and did not reveal any abnormalities.
7 Lucky Jock – tightened between runners approaching the first turn, was checked and lost ground, collided with another runner, was severely checked and lost considerable ground.
8 Super Cup – marginally slow to begin.
Race 8 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 600m 4 Junior Jet – tightened for room when approaching the turn out of the front straight, was galloped on the hindquarters, severely checked and lost considerable ground.
6 Galway Ludwig – slow to begin. Checked off heels shortly after the start and lost ground.
7 Stevick – collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion and lost ground. Improved onto the hind quarters of another runner when approaching the turn out of the front straight, was severely checked and lost ground when racing wider on the turn.
8 Hara's Dazza – collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight on the first occasion and lost ground.
Race 9 – FABREGAS@ METICULOUS LODGE FFA 710m 2 Kendall - collided with another runner when approaching the turn out of the front straight, was checked and lost ground. Bumped with another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight.
4 Miss Gingin – marginally slow to begin.
6 Bago Bye Bye – raced wide when rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion. Collided with another runner when approaching the turn out of the front straight, was checked and lost ground. Bumped with another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination and did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 10 – THIRTY TALKS @ STUD GRADE 5 (1) 520m 1 Mel Buzz – tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked.
6 Yuken Merry – bumped by another runner approaching the first turn. Checked rounding the turn into the back straight.
7 Cheap Wine – slow to begin. Checked out of the heels approaching the first turn and continued to race wide round the turn.
8 Tienne Tea – slow to begin.
Race 11 – TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY GRADE 5 (2) 520m 1 Open My Mail – a post-race veterinary examination and did not reveal any abnormalities.
2 Tipsy Four – bumped with another runner rounding the first turn.
4 Brindle Daisy – tightened for room approaching the first turn and was hampered.
6 Kulu Hipster – bumped by another runner at the start.
7 Alby Valley – bumped with another runner at the start. Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn.
8 Techno Hornet – slow to begin. Tightened for room over the concluding stages.
Race 12 – SKY RACING MA5 520m 2 Burrum Boy – slow to begin. Tightened for room when rounding the turn into the back straight and was momentarily hampered. Tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight, was checked and lost ground.
7 Hay Hopey – slow to begin.
8 Mako Mac – tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight, was checked and lost ground.
