General – Meeting Abandoned

Due to the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club receiving approximately 100mm of rainfall prior to midday and inclement weather conditions, a track inspection by QRIC Stewards and club officials was conducted at 12:00pm. Following the inspection and consultation with club officials, remedial work on parts of the track with surface erosion were repaired and deemed safe for racing.

In the hours proceeding this inspection, weather conditions deteriorated significantly, and a further inspection was conducted by QRIC Stewards and club officials. After consultation, the race meeting was abandoned at 3:30pm due to the state of the track and weather forecast.
