Due to persistent rain throughout the day Stewards conducted inspections at approximately 1:30pm & 3:30pm to assess the racing surface. The track was deemed safe for racing. A further inspection was conducted immediately at the close of kennelling with points of the track being identified to need remedial works. Once this was completed, trials were conducted, and the meeting proceeded with the rating downgraded to slow.
Supplementary: Albion Park 05/03/20 – Cooper Dooper; trainer T. Tzouvelis advised the greyhound was inspected the morning after its run which revealed an injury to the near-side hind back muscle. Considering this he advised the greyhound would be spelled. ___________________ |
