Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races. _______________ |

Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND
HOUND NOVICE (1) 520m
|
|
2 Terror Turtle – bumped by another runner shortly after the start, checked and lost ground. Checked off heels when approaching the first turn. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. When entering the home straight, shifted outwards, turned its head, and made muzzle contact with another runner. Trainer R. Essex was advised the greyhound would be stood down pursuant to GAR 69 for Marring. As it was the greyhounds first offence it will be stood down from Albion Park for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing.

3 Trip To Paris – bumped at the start. Bumped by another runner shortly after the start, checked and lost ground. Bumped with other runners when rounding the first turn, was checked and lost ground.
|
|
4 Columbian King – bumped at the start. Shifted inwards crossing runners shortly after the start, was contacted on the heels and became momentarily unbalanced.
|
|
5 Federal Desire – marred by another runner in the home straight and lost ground.
|
|
6 Slade – stewards acceded to a request from trainer M. Saal to apply temporary strapping to the left hind track leg. Began awkwardly when bumped by another runner.
|
|
7 Werina Express – began awkwardly when bumped by another runner. Bumped by other runners when rounding the first turn and became momentarily unbalanced.
|
|
8 On The Buses – slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner, fell and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. |

Race 2 – ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE (2) 520m |
|
1 Opal Prince – lost its footing when jumping away and began awkwardly.
|
|
2 Werina Ace – shifted inwards and contacted the running rail when approaching the first turn losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
|
|
3 Hopeful Lash – bumped with another runner when approaching the first turn. Contacted the hindquarters of another runner when rounding the first turn and lost ground.
|
|
4 Special Cyndie – bumped with another runner when approaching the first turn. Contacted on the hindquarters by another runner when rounding the first turn and lost ground. Contacted on the heels by another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight, was checked and lost ground.
|
|
5 Aristocratic Gal – collided with another runner and lost ground when entering the first turn. Collided with another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

6 Wicked Collision – slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner when rounding the turn into the back straight, was severely checked, shifted outwards colliding with another runner, and lost considerable ground.
|
|
7 Zabdon Rodrigo – stood flat footed at the rear of the boxes when the start was affected and was subsequently very slow to begin. Checked out off heels when entering the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

8 Night Cry – slow to begin. Collided with another runner and lost ground when entering the first turn. |

|
1 Maywyn Cash – bumped with another runner when entering the back straight. Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages and lost ground.

2 Proper Gent – bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Checked off heels when rounding the first turn through to the back straight ad lost ground.
|
|
9/3 Bill’s Out – bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Tightened between runners and lost ground when approaching the first turn.
|
|
4 Let's Go Ozzi – bumped with another runner when entering the back straight. Bumped with another runner over the concluding stages and lost ground.
|
|
5 Wazz's Out - slow to begin. Checked out off heels and lost ground when rounding the turn first turn.
|
|
6 Zenyatta Miss – tightened for room and momentarily hampered when rounding the turn out of the back straight.

1 Annika – marginally slow to begin. Tightened for room and checked when approaching the turn out of the back straight on the second occasion. Contacted on the hindquarters by another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

2 Techno Hornet – checked off heels when rounding the turn into the back straight.
|
|
4 Velocity Bettina – slow to begin. Collided with another runner when rounding the first turn, was checked and lost ground. Bumped and momentarily hampered when approaching the turn out of the back straight on the second occasion. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

6 Sandave Gypsy – tightened between runners, checked and collided with another runner when rounding the first turn. Improved onto the hindquarters of another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

7 Logan Belle – checked off heels when rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion.

2 Messy Man – marginally slow to begin. Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Tightened between runners when rounding the turn out of the front straight, was severely checked and fell, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

3 Limited Edition - bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Tightened between runners when rounding the turn out of the front straight, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

1 Fernando Beach – contacted the running rail when rounding the first turn, shifted outwards and collided with other runners, and lost ground. Tightened for room when rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

6 Dynamic Bill – bounded in the air when jumping from the boxes after the start was affected and subsequently very slow to begin.

1 Rubys For Jayda – checked off heels when rounding the first turn, lost ground and then collided with another runner. Tightened for room and lost ground when entering the first before checking off heels. Bumped with another runner on several occasions when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground.

2 Ringbark Reign – checked off heels and shifted wider on the first turn while losing ground.
|
|
3 Pump It – bumped when entering the first turn and lost ground.
|
|
6 Kiss An' Roll – bumped shortly after the start and lost ground. Collided with another runner through the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner on several occasions when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground.

7 Chanticleer – bumped when approaching the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight.

8 Banjo's Issue – stewards acceded to a request from trainer M. Wells to remove the permanent left hind toe strapping for all future starts. Bumped with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. |

Race 11 – ORSON ALLEN @ STUD GRADE 5 (2) 520m |
|
1 Peter Talks – began awkwardly and was slow to begin. Checked off heels through the first turn. Tightened for room and checked when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
|
|
3 Yuken Pay Me – contacted on the hindquarters by another runner when rounding the first turn, became severely unbalanced and lost considerable ground.
|
|
4 Blue Jillem – improved onto the hindquarters of another runner when entering the first turn. Continued contacting that runner and became unbalanced when shifting wider on the turn. Was then contacted on the heels by trailing runners becoming severely awkward and stumbling. Attempted to rebalance and continued to chase the lure while showing signs of significant injury until being captured rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a catastrophic injury to the nearside hock and was humanely euthanised.
