General:

Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races

Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 520m

2 Eulogia- Quick to begin.

4 Floral Lace- Began awkwardly, collided with outside runner immediately after the start and was checked.

5 Ginger Ginger- Collided with another runner immediately after the start. Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was severely checked losing considerable ground. 

6 Cost A Shilling- Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was checked.

9 (Box 3) Cyclone Rocket- Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was checked.

10 (Box 8) Idle High- Slow to begin.

Race 2 - WWW.BRISGREYS.COM NOVICE 520m

1 Hara's Smokey- Quick to begin.

2 On The Buses- Muzzle became dislodged in the starting boxes and remained around the greyhounds neck throughout event. Bumped another runner entering the first turn.  

3 Velocity Zelmona- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Had its heels contacted entering the back straight and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside front foot and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

4 Cheer Beckham- Tightened for room against the rail through the first turn and was checked.

5 Rough Nut- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Tightened for room against the rail leaving the first turn and was checked.

7 Cherry Wine- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked.

8 Take Your Shot- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked.

Race 3 - TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY MA5 395m

1 Winning Light- Quick to begin.

4 Smashniak Batman- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Had its heels contacted entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. Collided with another runner rounding the turn into the home straight, checked and was galloped on by trailing runner losing further ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed and injury to the offside shoulder and was stood down for a period of 7 days.   

5 Edge Of Forever- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. Collided with another runner entering the home straight and was checked.

6 Bogan Dancer- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

7 One El- Slow to begin. Collided with another runner entering the home straight and was checked.

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MIXED 4/5 520m

2 Banjo's Issue- Hampered approaching the first turn. Inconvenienced through the turn out of the back straight.

3 Hope's Dynamic- Quick to begin. Had its heels contacted entering the back straight and was hampered.

4 Madam Waltz- Contacted heels of another runner entering the back straight and was checked wider on the track.

7 Waddling Witch- Tightened for room entering the first turn and was inconvenienced. Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. 

Race 5 - THIRTY TALKS @ STUD R5 600m

The all clear was delayed in order for the stewards to review the race replay. All clear was given at 8.13pm.

1 Blame Brendan- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked.

2 Blue Diva- Tightened for room shortly after the start and was checked.

3 Kiss An' Roll- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked.

5 Uno Uno- Collided with another runner entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked.

6 Cash Trail-  Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked.

7 Slipknot- Bumped through the first turn, forced wide on the track and had its heels contacted by trailing runner. Collided with another runner entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked.

8 Zipping Homer- Marginally slow to begin. Contacted that heels of another runner and was checked wider on the track through the first turn.

Race 6 - EXPAT LODGE NMW (1) 520m

1 Fab Femme- Inconvenienced approaching the turn out of the back straight.

3 Brett's Bentley- Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn, became unbalanced and shifted wider on the track. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards spoke to Mr Ayre, trainer of Brett’s Bentley regarding the greyhound performing below market expectation. Mr Ayre stated that he was confident in the greyhounds winning chances in tonight’s event and was disappointed in the overall performance. Adding that that the greyhound had been trialling in good time and after last week’s winning performance, expected the greyhound to win tonight also.

Mr Ayre further stated that Brett’s Bentley’s tooth was caught in the muzzle after the event however after reviewing all available replay footage stewards could not confirm this.

Stewards ordered a post-race urine sample be collected from Brett’s Bentley for analysis.

5 Oodles Of Noodle- Quick to begin.

6 Regas- Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn and forced wider on the track losing considerable ground.

7 Good Vibrations- Slow to begin. Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn and forced wider on the track losing considerable ground.

Race 7 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY NMW (2) 520m

1 Magpie Robbie- Raised up at the start and was subsequently slow to begin. Contacted heels entering the back straight and was checked. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the nearside wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

2 Kiki's Mom- Tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked.

3 Federal Wozza- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked.

4 Magical Revival- Collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked.

5 Yuken Pay Me- Collided with another runner approaching the first turn and was checked wider on the track.

6 New Wave- Slow to begin. Had its heels contacted entering the turn out of the back straight.

7 Hey Macarena- Bumped another runner entering the home straight.

8 Shot Of Bourbon- Bumped another runner entering the home straight.

Race 8 - FAST TIMES @ SIRES ON ICE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 520m

2 Hara's Panda- Quick to begin.

3 Misty Haze- Bumped with another runner entering the first turn and forced wider on the track.

4 Magic Miss- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked.

5 Kisses For Cloda- Collided with another runner entering the first turn and was checked. Checked again when racing through the first turn and lost ground. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the back straight and lost further ground.

Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Stewards requested Mr Apap inform the stewards pursuant to GAR75(2) should anything that might have a bearing on past or future running of Kisses For Cloda come to notice of the trainer after the greyhound has left the course, it shall be reported to the stewards as soon as practicable. 

6 Patty Mcginty- Slow to begin, tightened between runners immediately after the start and lost ground. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the first turn.

7 Smokin' Wits- Bumped with another runner entering the first turn and forced wider on the track. Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

Race 9 - ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND BEST 8 395m

1 Cosmo Bill- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

2 Inquisitive Me- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

3 All Aces- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner entering the back straight and was checked.

4 Gitcha Hummin'- Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked.

6 So Crazy- Quick to begin.

8 Georgie Mac- Slow to begin. Bumped another runner through the first turn.

1 Fabrique- Tightened for room against the rail through the first turn and was checked.

3 Farmor Watch You- Quick to begin.

4 Summer's Queen- Slow to begin. Collided with another runner through the first turn and was checked. Collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked. Contacted the heels of another runner entering the home straight and was checked wider on the track.

5 Fantastic Bronx- Collided with another runner in the back straight and was checked.
