Officials: Dr. R Geisel (Vet), L. Smyth (Judge), J. Gatehouse (Starter), L. Bobeszko (Samples), C. Nilsson (Lure) General: The club advised the track underwent maintenance, including grading of the surface on Friday, 4 September. Stewards conducted an inspection one hour prior to kennelling and deemed the track rating as Good.

Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MDNPW 331m
1 Steffi Prevails – tightened for room and severely checked when leaving the back straight.
2 Farmor Guinness – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Bumped the hindquarters of another runner when entering the home straight.
3 Little Magoo – marginally slow to begin. Bumped shortly after the start. Hampered by another runner, which shifted outwards, in the back straight. Bumped on the hindquarters of another runner when entering the home straight.
4 Flying Xena – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start.
5 Dynamite Nan – bumped in the back straight.
6 Model Girl – bumped and shifted outwards, hampering another runner, in the back straight. Clipped on the heels and lost ground when leaving the back straight. Raced wide in the home straight.
7 Some Idea – best to begin.
8 Midnight Nachos – marginally slow to begin.
Race 2 - ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 331m
1 Astonishing One – best to begin.
3 Khaleesi Loretta – best to begin.
4 Genetic Dream – tightened for room, bumped with another runner, and severely checked when leaving the back straight.
5 Lady Meringue – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Shifted outwards in the home straight.
6 High Esteem – shifted inwards, bumped with another runner, and severely checked when leaving the back straight.
8 Amaranth Girl – raced greenly rounding the turn, shifted outwards to find clear running and lost ground. Raced wide for most of the event.
Race 3 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 331m
1 Walsh – raced wide rounding the turn and into the home straight.
3 Amaze And Shook – checked off heels when leaving the back straight.
4 Veerat – tightened for room and checked when entering the back straight.
5 Master Spice – tightened for room and checked when entering the back straight. Bumped with another runner on many occasions when rounding the turn and lost ground.
6 Dynamic Daisy – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start.
7 Not The Norm – tightened for room and checked when entering the back straight.
8 Double Moment – tightened for room and checked when entering the back straight. Bumped with another runner on many occasions when rounding the turn and lost ground.
Race 4 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE NOVICE 331m
2 Aston Lane – clipped the heels of another runner, which shifted inwards, was checked and lost ground. Tightened for room and checked when entering the home straight.
3 Spider Man – shifted inwards when entering the back straight, was clipped on the heels, and lost ground. Bumped when leaving the back straight.
6 Frankie's Rose – checked off heels and lost ground when entering the back straight.
7 Farmor Super Dry – marginally slow to begin.
9/8 Ritza Rocket – marginally slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the turn.
Race 5 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE MIXED 4/5 395m
Stewards delayed the declaration of All Clear to review the patrol film in relation to the distance of the lure to the lead runner. Stewards determined that while the lure was within the permitted five-meter distance from the leader, they were satisfied the variance did not inconvenience any runner and confirmed All Clear on the semaphored placings.
2 Wild Fantasy – delayed the start of the event when the muzzle required replacing. Tightened for room and checked through the first turn, and shortly after was galloped on by another runner, and lost ground.
3 Fairway Finder – tightened for room and severely checked through the first turn.
4 Ava Surprise – tightened for room and severely checked through the first turn and lost considerable ground. Raced wide for most of the event.
5 Sandpaper Smithy – tightened for room and checked when entering the first turn. Tightened for room and severely checked through the first turn and lost considerable ground.
6 Clocked – tightened for room and severely checked through the first turn.
8 Federal Estate – marginally slow to begin. Tightened for room and severely checked through the first turn.
Race 6 - TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY MIXED 3/4 331m
3 Selena Girl – clipped on the heels shortly after the start and lost ground.
6 He's Never Here – improved onto heels shortly after the start. Tightened for room and momentarily hampered when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
8 Perfect Paris – bumped and lost ground when entering the back straight and continued to lose ground for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a strain to the nearside hip and the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.
Race 7 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 3 331m
2 Oodles Of Noodle – tightened for room and severely checked when entering the back straight.
3 Super Cute – tightened for room and severely checked when entering the back straight.
4 No Clyde Needed – tightened for room and severely checked when entering the back straight.
5 Tuta Time – tightened for room and checked when entering the back straight.
6 Summer's Queen – tightened for room and checked when entering the back straight.
Race 8 - PACERS & CHASERS BAR + BISTRO MIXED 1/2 331m
1 Chad Sure Can – bumped and momentarily hampered when leaving the back straight.
3 Statue Sis – tightened for room, bumped and lost ground when leaving the back straight.
6 Swift Story – bumped and lost ground when leaving the back straight.
Race 9 - SKY RACING MA5 331m
1 Smashniak Winx – best to begin. Fell awkwardly after the event when entering the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
3 Mamma's Boy – bumped at the start and lost ground.
5 Sweet Talking – proved difficult to load delaying the start of the event. Stewards advised kennel representative Bill Liddell that a warning would be placed on the greyhounds boxing manners.
6 Magic Ash – marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels when leaving the back straight.
7 Mepunga Zeus – tightened for room, checked, almost fell and lost ground shortly after the start. Fell awkwardly after the event when entering the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 10 - ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 331m
1 Blue Emperor – tightened for room, checked and lost ground when entering the back straight. Contacted on the hindquarters when rounding the turn and lost ground. Galloped on the heels when rounding the turn into the home turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
2 Smashniak Joker – tightened for room, improved onto the heels of other runners, was checked and lost ground when entering the back straight.
3 Just Lit – galloped on heels, checked and lost ground when entering the back straight. Tightened for room, almost fell and lost ground in the back straight. Shifted outwards on the turn, contacting the hindquarters of another runner, and lost considerable ground.
4 Lucky Jock – galloped on heels, checked and lost ground when entering the back straight.
6 Shaggy Rose – slow to begin.
8 Magnolia Wind – slow to begin. Bumped in the back straight and lost ground. Raced wide entering the turn out of the back straight. Improved onto the heels of another runner when rounding the turn into the home turn, was checked and lost ground.
Race 11 - KEDRON WAVELL SERVICES CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 331m
2 Nala's Boy – best to begin.
3 Exciting News – slow to begin. Checked off heels when leaving the back straight.
4 Peter Kropp – best to begin.
5 Savannah Sun – raced wide when rounding the turn into the home straight.
6 Wild Lilly – slow to begin. Checked off heels when leaving the back straight.
8 Revolution Hook – marginally slow to begin.
Race 12 - RHINO FINANCE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 331m
1 Hollow Words – tightened for room, bumped with another runner, checked and shifted wider on the turn when leaving the back straight.
3 Red Jersey – bumped when rounding the turn out of the back straight and raced wide until shifting inwards when entering the home straight.
4 Double Alias – slow to begin.
5 Farmor Tooheys – slow to begin. Raced wide in the back straight.
6 Ha Ha Lucky – checked in the back straight.
7 Smashniak Jelly – bumped by another runner, was severely checked and shifted wider on the turn when leaving the back straight.
8 Stormy Shari – checked in the back straight.
9 Aerobic Zone – checked and lost ground when leaving the back straight.
