Race 1 - SENTRACK 1053AM BRISBANE NOVICE (1) 520m

1 Fifty Fathoms – quick to begin.

2 Frosty Flame – collided with another runner through the first turn.

4 Rowdy Roddy – collided with another runner through the first turn.

5 Meet Mr. Kobe – collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight and was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

7 Iron Pony – began awkwardly and lost ground. Collided with another runner through the first turn. Turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with Meet Mr. Kobe through the turn into the front straight. After making muzzle contact with Iron Pony, the greyhound fell and took no further competitive part in the event. Trainer B Giltinan was advised that Iron Pony would be suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial, marring 1^st offence. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

8 Next Thursday – collided with another runner through the first turn and was severely checked. Proved uncompetitive for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound had sustained an injury to the near pin and was subsequently stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (2) 520m

1 Tequila Talking – tightened for room and hampered leaving the first turn. Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight and was checked.

2 Burns Like Gas – tightened for room and hampered leaving the first turn. Improved onto heels through the turn into the front straight and was checked.

3 Paint Face – quick to begin. Bumped another runner through the first turn. Collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight and was checked.

4 Call Me Gibbs – quick to begin. Bumped another runner through the first turn.

6 Blazin' Ben – bumped another runner through the turn into the front straight.

8 Night Cry – collided with another runner through the turn into the front straight and was checked.

Race 3 - HAPPY 30TH JAKE HANNAN GRADE 5 710m

5 Floral Lace – slow to begin. Checked out across heels at the first turn. Tightened for room and hampered on entering the front straight (2^nd occasion). A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

8 Rose Ali – fell in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.  

Race 4 - MOTORHUB GRADE 5 (1) 520m

Prior to declaring the all-clear, Stewards reviewed the patrol footage in the back straight to confirm that the distance from the lure to the field had not materially prejudiced any runner. After viewing the patrol footage, stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was affected and subsequently declared the all clear.

1 Key West – tightened for room and checked approaching the first turn.

2 Ringbark Reign – tightened for room shortly after the start. Checked out across heels at the first turn.

3 Magical Revival – tightened for room and checked approaching the first turn. Bumped the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

5 Dynamo Waz – tightened for room and hampered leaving the back straight.

6 Libby's Girl – tightened for room shortly after the start. Bumped another runner leaving the back straight.

8 See Them Try – slow to begin.

Race 5 - ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MIXED 4/5 520m

1 Copy Workshop – bumped another runner and was checked approaching the first turn. Improved onto heels through the turn into the front straight and was checked.

3 Flying September – bumped another runner shortly after the start.

4 Amby's Dream – tightened for room shortly after the start. Collided with another runner approaching the first turn.

5 Where's The Lady – tightened for room shortly after the start.

6 Maywyn Cash – tightened for room shortly after the start. Tightened for room and hampered through the turn into the front straight.

7 Farmor Watch Me – collided with another runner shortly after the start and was checked. Bumped another runner through the first turn and was checked.

8 Head Bairn – slow to begin. Bumped another runner through the first turn. Turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with Where’s The Lady in the front straight. Trainer S Lawrance was advised that Head Bairn would be suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial, marring 1^st offence.

Race 6 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD FFA 600m

1 Cool Talk – collided with another runner and was checked through the first turn.

2 Flyaway Barb – quick to begin. Bumped another runner approaching the turn into the back straight and was hampered. When questioned regarding the performance, trainer C. Cassidy commented that he was expecting the greyhound to put in a very strong performance and added that the interference through the first turn was to the benefit of Flyaway Barb. Mr Cassidy also added that the greyhound has raced at its best when weighing approximately 25.5kg (25.8kg 1.10.20). Mr Cassidy commented that he would look to nominate Flyaway Barb over the 710m in the coming weeks.

3 Techno Hornet – collided with another runner and was checked through the first turn.

5 Dynamite Lucy – bumped another runner approaching the turn into the back straight and was hampered.

6 Blue Bandana – collided with another runner and was checked through the first turn.

7 Infrared Lad – collided with another runner and was checked through the first turn.

8 Big Boy Bruce – slow to begin.

Race 7 - MOLLY CAMPBELL SILVER DOLLARS FINAL OPEN 520m

1 Blue Day – checked out across heels and was severely checked through the first turn.

3 Farmor Beach – quick to begin.

6 Pump It – collided with another runner and was severely checked through the first turn. Bumped the running rail shortly after. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

7 Mayoress – collided with another runner and was severely checked through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

8 Maggie Moo Moo – slow to begin.

Race 8 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE BEST 8 520m

1 Security Code – tightened for room approaching the first turn and was hampered. Tightened for room and checked through the first turn.

2 Best Fit – cheeked out across heels at the first turn.

4 Magical Hope – tightened for room approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

7 Limited Edition – quick to begin.

8 It Ain't Billy – checked in across heels at the first turn.

Race 9 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE MA5 520m

1 Are Jay Lochie – checked out across heels at the first turn.

4 Proper Gent – lost ground over the concluding stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance, Trainer J McCarthy stated the he felt the greyhound performed to expectations and that the greyhound’s preferred distance is over the 480m. Stewards noted Mr McCarthy’s comments.

6 Yuken Pay Me – slow to begin. Bumped another runner and was checked approaching the first turn.

7 Isnt She Special – quick to begin.

Race 10 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 (2) 520m

1 Riverboat Queen

2 Terror Turtle – bumped another runner at the start.

3 Slip The Cuffs – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Collided with another runner and was severely checked leaving the back straight.

4 Bear Zar – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start.

6 Bonus Only – collided with another runner shortly after the start. Collided with another runner and was severely checked leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

7 Cyndie's Out – tightened for room and hampered at the first turn. Collided with another runner and was severely checked leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
