Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN 520m
1 Gus Gus – checked and lost ground when leaving the front straight.
2 Regal Rocky – tightened for room and checked in the front straight.
3 Silky Chiffon – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Improved onto heels, was severely checked, and almost fell when leaving the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
4 Wynnum Star – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Checked off heels when leaving the front straight. Tightened for room and checked when leaving the back straight.
6 Bobby Magee – shifted inwards after the start, bumped with other runners and was momentarily hampered. Tightened for room, severely checked, and almost fell when leaving the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
7 Arnie Rich – Shifted inwards tightening other runners when leaving the front straight. Tightened for room and hampered when leaving the back straight.
Race 2 - ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE 395m
1 Ignition Source – tightened for room and momentarily hampered through the first turn.
6 Bag Of Pearls – marginally slow to begin. Shifted outwards and collided with another runner when rounding the turn into the home straight and lost ground. Shifted outwards and bumped again with the same runner over the concluding stages. Stewards questioned trainer John McCarthy with regards to Bag Of Pearls actions over the concluding stages, particularly its manner in shifting out towards Ruby’s Me Mum. After reviewing all the evidence, stewards could not be comfortably satisfied the greyhound had offended under any rule. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
7 Ruby's Me Mum – collided with another runner, which shifted outwards, when rounding the turn into the home straight and lost ground. Bumped with that runner again over the concluding stages of the event.
8 Another Bunker – declared a late scratching at 4:54pm when found to be more than the permitted weight variance (-1.5kg). Trainer Jeffrey Henzell was fined $50.
Race 3 - KEDRON WAVELL SERVICES CLUB NOVICE 520m
2 Chase Zarr – tightened between runners and momentarily hampered when leaving the front straight.
6 Hammer Drill – tightened between runners, was severely checked, and lost considerable ground when leaving the front straight. Trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed did not reveal any abnormalities.
8 Bonomel – collided with another runner, was severely checked and lost considerable ground when leaving the front straight.
Race 4 - RHINO FINANCE MA5 395m
1 Mako Mac – tightened for room and checked when rounding the turn into the back straight.
2 Lady Crimson – tightened for room and checked through the first turn. Tightened for room and checked when leaving the back straight.
3 Run With Girl – tightened for room and checked before colliding with a trailing runner through the first turn and lost considerable ground. Took an awkward stride over the concluding stages. Stewards questioned trainer Craig Cassidy with regards to Run With Girl’s actions over the concluding stages, however after reviewing all available evidence could not be comfortably satisfied the greyhound had offended under any rule. Trainer Cassidy advised consideration would be given for Run With Girl to compete at Capalaba for future events. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
4 Kiss An' Roll – marginally slow to begin. Collided with another runner through the first turn, almost fell and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a strain to the offside wrist and the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.
5 Rebel Spike – tightened for room and checked through the first turn. Checked off heels when rounding the turn into the back straight.
Race 5 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD FFA 520m
2 Shakey Diesel – bumped and lost ground when rounding the turn out of the back straight. Bumped when rounding the turn into the home straight.
7 Big Boy Bruce – checked inwards off heels when leaving the front straight. Checked off heels when rounding the turn into the back straight. Bumped when rounding the turn into the home straight.
Race 6 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m
1 Ha Ha Lucky – tightened for room and hampered when leaving the back straight. Tightened for room and checked when rounding the turn into the home straight.
2 Junior Jet – tightened for room and checked through the turn into the home straight.
4 Key West – bumped shortly after the start and lost ground.
6 Easy Al – slow to begin. Tightened for room, checked and lost ground when rounding the turn into the back straight.
7 Speranza – tightened for room and hampered through the first turn. Bumped when rounding the turn into the home straight.
8 Smart Cha Cha – tightened for room and checked through the first turn.
Race 7 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 520m
1 Go Anna Go – tightened for room and checked when leaving the front straight.
2 Lucky Jock – tightened for room and checked when leaving the front straight.
3 Jackson's Estate – tightened for room, checked and raced wide when entering the first turn. .
4 Sweet Werina – tightened for room and hampered when leaving the back straight.
6 Tad Nosey – tightened for room and checked in the front straight.
7 Techno Hornet – tightened for room and checked when leaving the front straight. Tightened for room and hampered when rounding the turn into the back straight.
8 Hara's Olaf – slow to begin. Checked off heels and raced wide entering the first turn.
Race 8 - TAB - LONG MAY WE PLAY R4/5 600m
1 More – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner on several occasions when leaving the back straight.
2 Tevita Shadow – tightened for room and bumped other runners shortly after the start.
4 Classy Ethics – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Checked off heels when rounding the turn into the back straight. Bumped with another runner on several occasions when leaving the back straight.
9/5 Broich – bumped shortly after the start.
6 Always Forever – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner on several occasions when leaving the back straight.
7 Pete's Dream – marginally slow to begin. Tightened for room and checked shortly after the start. Clipped on the heels when rounding the turn into the back straight and was momentarily hampered. Bumped with another runner on several occasions when leaving the back straight.
Race 9 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 395m
3 She's Hot Gossip – tightened for room and momentarily hampered through the first turn. Tightened for room and checked when leaving the back straight.
4 Good Boy Ivan – bumped in the back straight. 5 Regas - bumped in the back straight.
