Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN (1) 2 395m

 

1 Farmor Heineken – Into the 1st turn was tightened for room losing its position. Leaving the backstraight was tightened by Spare Bullet which shifted in and lost ground.

 

2 On The Inside – Slow to begin, into the 1st turn checked across the heels of Hostile Rage becoming unbalanced losing ground.

 

3 Summer's Missile – Over the concluding stages when weakening shifted out.

 

4 Hostile Rage – Slow to begin, entering the back straight was tightened losing momentum.

 

6 Master Phantom – In the backstraight when racing in restricted became inconvenienced and lost ground.

 

 

 

 

Race 2 - MOTORHUB MAIDEN (2) 2 395m

 

1 Little Miss Vane – Entering the back turn collided with Alfie Romeo, rounding the home turn was inconvenienced by Alfie Romeo which shifted out.

 

3 Farmor Coronas – Into the 1st turn was turned out and lost momentum.

 

4 Alfie Romeo – Shortly after the start was crowded for room and unable to improve. Entering the back turn collided with Little Miss Vane, rounding the home turn turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with Little Miss Vane. Trainer G Franklin was advised that Alfie Romeo would be suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial, R69 marring 1st offence. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its near side hip and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

6 He's Golden – Into the 1st turn was held up for clear running, rounding the home turn improved onto the heels of Alfie Romeo and shifted out taking the turn wide.

 

7 Tessie Desilver - Into the1st turn was inconvenienced and lost ground. In the back straight clipped heels and lost momentum. Over final stages bumped on several occasions with Frankie’s Gem and became unbalanced.

 

8 Frankie's Gem – Slow to begin, leaving the backstraight was crowded for room and lost ground. Over concluding bumped with Tessie Desilver on several occasions becoming unbalanced.

 

 

Due to steady rain which fell during the running of this event and the continued rainfall and storm activity in immediate vicinity of the race track, following the race stewards went back a timeslot to allow for the storm to pass. A track inspection of the racing surface was conducted by stewards prior to the running of race 3 and was deemed safe for racing.

 

 

 

 

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m

 

2 Shian Ziva – Leaving the back straight was checked, raced wide rounding the home turn.

 

4 Frosty Girl – Shortly after the start was crowded losing its position.

 

7 Hopeful Hope – Leaving the 1st turn was inconvenienced by Shian Ziva which shifted out.

 

 

 

 

Race 4 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE NOVICE 2 395m

 

1 Nala's Issue – Into the 1st was tightened for room, checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its near side wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

3 Sky Runner – Into the 1st was tightened losing its position.

 

5 In Tune – Into the 1st turn was held up and unable to improve, rounding the home turn was momentarily held up for clear running.

 

8 Deb's Desire – Slow to begin, raced wide for the entire event.

 

 

 

 

Race 5 - KEDRON WAVELL SERVICES CLUB GRADE 5 (1) 2 395m

 

2 Just A Drop – Leaving the 1st turn improved onto heels losing momentum.

 

3 Dynamite Bill - Leaving the 1st turn when racing in restricted room improved onto heels and lost ground.

 

6 Opinions – Slow to begin, leaving the 1st turn when racing in restricted room was checked losing considerable ground.

 

8 Veerat – Slow to begin, leaving the 1st turn was inconvenienced by Opinions which shifted out.

 

 

 

 

Race 6 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD GRADE 5 3 520m

 

2 Dustification – Into the 1st turn was galloped on losing its momentum.

 

4 Jayville Tuxedo – Into the 1st turn improved onto the heels of Dustification taking that turn wide as a result.

 

5 Pete's Dream – Shortly after the start was hampered losing its position, through the 1st turn was checked off heels, Took the home turn wide.

 

6 Galway Diva – Took the home turn wide.

 

7 Shallow Replies – Into the 1st turn was taken wider.  

 

 

 

 

Race 7 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 395m

 

3 Shot Of Bourbon – Entering the back straight clipped heels losing momentum.

 

4 Khandela – Slow to begin, raced wide for the entire event.

 

5 Fabio Beach – Into the 1st turn was tightened losing its position.

 

6 Dynamite Travis - Into the 1st turn was tightened losing its position.

 

8 So Forth – Raced wide for the entire event.

 

 

 

 

Race 8 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE BEST 8 2 331m

 

3 Maywyn's Zephyr – Slow to begin, approaching the 1st the turn lost ground when Super Cute shifted in.

 

4 Torayden – Leaving the back straight checked across the heels of Gold Grace and lost ground.

 

5 Super Cute - Shortly after the start was crowded and lost its position, rounding the home turn was unable to improve when racing in restricted room and was bumped on several occasions by Farmor On Fire.

 

7 Farmor On Fire – Rounding the home turn bumped Super Cute on several occasions.

 

8 Gold Grace – Raced wide throughout.

 

 

 

 

Race 9 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 2 395m

 

1 Minnie Jojo – Rounding the home turn bumped with Typhoon Sammy losing momentum.

 

2 Just In Time – Through the 1st turn was tightened between runners losing momentum and ground.

 

4 Farmor Bundys - Slow to begin.

 

5 Riverboat Queen – Severely inconvenienced when improved onto the heels of Just In Time.

 

7 Typhoon Sammy – Rounding the home turn bumped with Minnie Jojo momentarily losing momentum. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

 

 

 

Race 10 - TAB - VENUE MODE BEST 8 2 395m

 

4 Summer's Flyer – Took the home turn wide.

 

7 Frankie Da Silva – Slow to begin, leaving the 1st turn checked across heels and lost ground.  

 

 

 

 

Race 11 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 2 395m

 

1 Tahiti Beach – Rounding the home turn improved onto the heels of Cool Change and lost momentum.

 

5 Dynamic Trav – Shortly after the start was tightened and blundered losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

7 Pre Cruise – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

 

 

 

Race 12 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE 5PW 2 395m

 

3 Cheer White – Slow to begin.

 

4 Jayville Torpedo – Slow to begin.  

 

6 My Bro Fredo – Slow to begin, leaving the back straight improved onto heels losing its momentum.  

 

8 Just Gary – Slow to begin, taken wider rounding the home turn by Cheer White which shifted out.
