General: Trainer Robert Jacobsen was fined $200 under GAR 86(o) for negligence in scratching Crazy Cool from race 7 at tonight’s race meeting.

Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN 520m

1 Action Now – Shifted out on jumping away. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its near hind foot and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

2 Was A Coyne – Through the 1^st turn collided with Rather Snazzy losing considerable ground, A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its chest muscle and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

3 Rather Snazzy - Shortly after the start was crowded for room losing its momentum and ground. Through the 1^st turn was taken wider and checked by Was A Coyne.

5 Lola Coaster – Shortly after the start was crowded for room and lost ground, into the 1^st turn was checked when Cheryl’s Crystal shifted in.

8 Cheryl's Crystal – Slow to begin, in the back straight checked across the heels of Cover Me which shifted in.

Race 2 - MOTORHUB NOVICE 520m

3 Velocity Caligo – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

7 Overgrip – Into the 1^st turn was inconvenienced and raced wide.

8 Maywyn A Cracker – Through the 1^st turn was tightened and checked losing ground at that point.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 (1) 395m

2 Wee Yes Sam – Leaving the 1^st turn shifted in bumping with Supreme Falcon and lost ground as a result.

4 Supreme Falcon – Into the 1^st turn was tightened losing its position. Leaving the 1^st turn was bumped by Wee Yes Sam and lost ground.

5 Kick Ons – Through the 1^st turn was tightened losing its position. Raced wide throughout.

6 Dame Esmerelda – Slow to begin.

8 Premier Sticka – Rounding the home turn had to momentarily steady from the heels of Love You Peaches which shifted in.

Race 4 - SEAN'S 40TH BIRTHDAY BASH NMW (1) 520m

1 Dual Focus – Began awkwardly and lost ground, into the 1^st turn improved onto heels becoming momentarily unbalanced. In the home straight was interfered with taken wider by Senorita Maywyn.

3 My Movie Star – Shortly after the start was hampered and lost ground, into the back turn improved onto heels becoming unbalanced

4 Easy Al – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked across heels losing its momentum.

6 Alpha Mania – Into the back turn was inconvenienced and lost ground.

7 Smashniak Joker – Leaving the 1^st turn bumped with Easy Al and lost momentum. Into the back turn was tightened between runners and was checked

8 Senorita Maywyn – Slow to begin, raced wide for the majority of the event. In the home straight turned its head out towards Dual Focus causing interference to that greyhound. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to the trainer of Senorita Maywyn, Robert Essex regarding the greyhound’s actions in the home straight. Stewards reviewed the video replay and considered submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report. Stewards deemed that Senorita Maywyn had turned its head outwardly towards Dual Focus, but could confidently say that head or muzzle contact was not made, therefore stewards invoked GAR 69A Fail to Pursue 1^st offence – 28 days and 1 satisfactory trail.

Race 5 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE MIXED M/5 600m

2 Robell Milly – Raced wide throughout.

5 Cheeky Nando – Slow to begin

8 Blue Bandana – Into the 1^st turn was bumped becoming unbalanced.

Race 6 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD R5 600m

2 Cheap Wine – Into the turn out of the home straight was tightened and checked across heels losing ground as a result

4 Hopeful Lash – Entering the home straight was crowded for room and lost its position.

6 Floral Lace – Rounding the home turn was momentarily held up for clear running

8 Misty Haze – Rounding the home turn raced in restricted room.

Race 7 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 520m

2 One Size Up – Approaching the 1^st turn was severely checked when tightened for room and lost considerable ground.

3 Mr. Blaster – Through the 1^st turn improved onto heels

5 Somerset Jewel – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

6 Burns Like Gas – Slow to begin, leaving the 1^st turn was tightened by Mr Blaster which shifted in and lost ground.

Race 8 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE BEST 8 395m

1 Bolt Of Lighting – Slow to begin.

2 John's Last – In the back straight checked across heels and raced wide from that point.

3 Rocket Way – Into the 1^st turn was tightened for room and lost ground, through the 1^st turn suffered interference and lost ground.

5 Farmor Fearless – Through the 1^st turn suffered interference and lost ground.

6 Summer's Queen – Through the 1^st turn suffered interference and lost ground.

7 Farmor On Fire - In the back straight checked across heels and lost momentum, through the back turn checked across heels and lost ground.

8 One Mumma - In the back straight was galloped on becoming unbalanced and lost its momentum.

Race 9 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 520m

1 Truthiness – Through the back turn was momentarily held up for clear running.

4 Cool Hand Luke - In the home straight turned its head out towards Libby’s Girl and momentarily eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its near side wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards spoke to Trainer Jeff Crawford regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. After viewing the video replay and considering submissions from the trainer and the veterinary report, acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Cool Hand Luke was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). The greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing but only after the 10 day stand down period has expired.

2 Happy Hornet – Into the 1^st turn was checked across heels and lost ground.

5 Maywyn's Bombora – Raced wide throughout.
