Race 1 - Garrard's Horse And Hound Novice 520m
2 Dark Angel – tightened for room and then clipped on the heels in the front straight resulting in Dark Angel to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. Shifted outwards through the first turn, collided with another runner, and lost ground. Stewards questioned trainer John Catton on the greyhound’s actions in the home straight when trailing the field. After reviewing all available evidence, stewards could not be comfortably satisfied the greyhound had offended under any rule when considering it may have sustained interference from a trailing runner and shied away from a duck located directly inside the running rail adjacent to the incident, and therefore gave the greyhound the benefit of doubt. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
3 Night Capers – tightened for room and checked shortly after the start.
4 Ringbark Ragnar – marginally slow to begin. Tightened for room when approaching the first turn, checked and lost ground. Bumped and momentarily hampered through the first turn.
6 Blue Jeans Talk – tightened for room and checked in the front straight. Shifted outwards colliding with the hindquarter of another runner when entering the first turn resulting in Blue Jeans Talk to be severely checked and lose ground.
7 Brother Jason – shifted inwards through the front straight tightening other runners.
8 Peltzer – marginally slow to begin. Contacted on the hindquarters when entering the first turn, was severely checked and lost ground. Tightened for room and hampered when rounding the turn into the back straight.
9 Sea Daddy (5) – marginally slow to begin. Improved onto heels when entering the first turn, was severely checked, and lost considerable ground.
Race 2 - Borgbet Tipping Service Ma5 520m
2 Soda Maxi – checked off heels when rounding the turn into the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
4 Tevita Shadow – slow to begin.
7 Run Blake Run – slow to begin.
8 Jimary Dynamite – slow to begin.
Race 3 - Box 1 Photography Ffa 600m
1 Javens – marginally slow to begin.
4 Waikarie Bell – marginally slow to begin.
5 Smart Lilly – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when rounding the turn out of the back straight.
8 Terror Turtle – marginally slow to begin.
Race 4 - Fabregas @ Meticulous Lodge 5th Grade Heat 1 Grade 5 520m
2 Corvette Cloud – slow to begin. Shifted out off heels when entering the first turn resulting in Corvette Cloud to race significantly wide on the turn and lost ground. Improved onto heels when entering the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
3 Pokie Payout – bumped heavily through the turn into the back straight, was severely checked, and lost considerable ground.
4 Sheer Passion – slow to begin. Hampered and lost ground when approaching the first turn when tightened for room.
6 Hopeful Lash – marginally slow to begin. Severely checked and lost ground when rounding the turn into the back straight.
7 Khandela – very slow to begin.
8 Slip The Cuffs – slow to begin. Improved onto heels when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. Shortly after was galloped on the heels and almost fell, losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 5 - SKY Racing 5th Grade Heat 2 Grade 5 520m
2 Certification – tightened for room, checked and fell in the front straight taking no further competitive part of the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards advised
3 Stormy Shari – hampered shortly after the start. Bumped and lost ground when rounding the turn into the home straight.
4 In Tune – hampered shortly after the start.
6 Big Boy Benji – hampered shortly after the start. Raced wide for most of the event.
Race 6 - Borgbet Tipping Service Grade 5 710m
2 Prince Cosmic – very slow to begin. Shifted out across heels making contact with Tribute To Dave when entering the first turn resulting in Prince Cosmic to be severely checked, race wide on the turn, and lose considerable ground.
4 Burnt Ends – hampered when entering the first turn and lost ground. Tightened for room and hampered when approaching the turn out of the front straight.
7 Tribute To Dave – galloped on the heels when entering the first turn, was severely checked, race wide on the turn, and lost considerable ground.
8 Nerve Settler – bumped and lost ground when rounding the turn into the front straight on the first occasion.
Race 7 - Asset Body Corporate Bribie Island 5th Grade Heat 3 Grade 5 520m
3 Rattle The Gate – hampered in the front straight and lost ground.
4 Bella Babe – tightened for room, checked and lost ground in the front straight.
5 Easy Al – hampered in the front straight. Checked out off heels when rounding the turn into the home straight.
6 Xella Angel – tightened for room, checked and lost ground in the front straight.
8 Jimary Spitfire – slow to begin.
Race 8 - TAB - Venue Mode 5th Grade Heat 4 Grade 5 520m
1 Hard Marker – momentarily hampered when approaching the first turn.
2 Shot Of Bourbon – momentarily hampered when approaching the first turn.
3 Mr. Eddie – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground shortly after the start. Raced wide for most of the event.
5 Lucky Jock – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground shortly after the start. Checked off heels and lost ground when rounding the home turn.
7 Naturally Gifted – checked and lost ground when entering the first turn.
8 Sleek Rumble – Stewards granted permission to scratch the greyhound when trainer Steve Kavanagh advised he intended for it to run in a novice event however made an error while nominating. Mr Kavanagh was fined $100 under R86(o) in that he negligently nominated his greyhound for an incorrect event.
Race 9 - Sennachie @ Stud - Steve White Mixed 3/4 520m
3 Open My Mail – hampered and bumped with another runner when entering the first turn and lost ground. Commenced to give ground when rounding the turn into the back straight to eventually finish a distant last. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a strain to the offside hind back muscle and the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.
4 Galway Ludwig – collided with Tribal Magic, which shifted inwards shortly after the start, resulting in Galway Ludwig to be checked and lose ground.
6 Tribal Magic – shifted inwards shortly after the start and bumped with Galway Ludwig resulting in Tribal Magic to be checked and lose ground.
7 Not Out Cloud – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when rounding the turn into the back straight.
8 More Than Magic – slow to being.
Race 10 - Orson Allen @ Stud Grade 4 520m
7 Clocked – momentarily hampered shortly after the start. Checked off heels when approaching the first turn.
8 Chanticleer – slow to begin.
