General: Due to a power outage in the area, stewards went back 3 timeslots. The following races were rescheduled as follows: Race 1 - 6:05pm, Race 2 - 6:24pm, Race 3 - 6:47pm,

Race 4 - 7:07pm, Race 5 - 7:30pm, Race 6 - 7:51pm, Race 7 - 8:10pm, Race 8 - 8:30pm,

Race 9 - 8:49pm, Race 10 - 9:04pm, Race 11 - 9:19pm, Race 12 - 9:34pm

Race 1 - ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 331m

1 Super Lorian – Began awkwardly missing the start by 5 lengths

9 Miss Fire Shaker (7) – Raced wide rounding the home turn

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 331m

2 Vieux Port – Approaching the 1^st turn improved onto heels, rounding the home turn blundered, in the home straight bumped with Spice Eruption on several occasions.  24.02.2021 – Trainer Calum Anderson reported to stewards Vieux Port pulled up lame the next morning subsequent to this race. A veterinary examination revealed a hairline fracture to its nearside hock and would not be fit to race for 12 weeks. Mr Anderson was advised he must provide a veterinary certificate and complete a veterinary trial prior to racing next.

3 Spice Eruption – Approaching the 1^st turn was checked and lost ground, in the home straight bumped with Vieux Port on several occasions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its near side hip and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

5 Little Miss Vane – In the backstraight was tightened and unable to hold its position.

6 Bubble Magic – Slow to begin, approaching the 1^st turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

7 Tall As Teak – Into the 1^st turn checked across heels and lost ground.

Race 3 - MOTORHUB NOVICE 331m

4 Foxy Girl – Entering the home straight after shifting out suffered interference becoming unbalanced.

7 Sako Outlaw – Entering the home straight suffered interference becoming severely checked. Raced wide for the entire event.

Race 4 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 331m

2 Magnolia Wind – Slow to begin, into the 1^st turn was held up for clear running and shifted out racing wide from that point.

3 Alpha Mania – Into and through the 1^st turn raced in restricted room and was bumped on several occasions.

5 Last Dance – Raced wide for the entire event.

6 Veerat – Slow to begin.

7 Perfect Nangar – Slow to begin.  

Race 5 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 331m

2 Savannah Sun – Slow into stride

3 Diamond Cartel – Slow into stride

4 Good Odds Lauryn – Into the 1^st turn was tightened losing its position

5 Dancing Ebby – Shortly after the start was hampered losing its position

6 Brave Suzy – In the back straight improved onto heels, through the 1^st turn was taken wider. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

8 Keke's Magic – In the back straight was galloped on losing its momentum.

Race 6 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 331m

2 Jake's Boy – Shortly after the start was tightened losing its position, raced wide throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

5 Murt Law – In the back straight improved onto heels losing its momentum, into the 1^st turn clipped heels and raced wide

8 Hop Along Travis – Raced wide throughout.

Race 7 - ORSON ALLEN @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 331m

1 Stick Hunter – Raced wide in the middle and late stages of the event.

2 Trixie's Rocket – Into the 1^st turn was tightened for room.

3 How Cool – Raced wide throughout.

4 Cha Cha Kay – Shortly after the start was crowded for room losing its position, into the 1^st turn was tightened for room, through the 1^st turn checked across heels

Race 8 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 331m

1 Proficiency – Into the 1^st turn was tightened for room the clipped heels becoming severely unbalanced and checked as a result

2 Machine Green – Into the 1^st turn was severely inconvenienced and checked losing ground.

4 All Genres – Into the 1^st turn was severely inconvenienced and checked losing ground.

6 Remember Col – Into the 1^st turn was tightened and checked losing ground.

8 Double Alias – Into the 1^st turn was severely inconvenienced and checked losing ground.

Race 9 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE BEST 8 331m

1 Call Me Wisdom – Shortly after the start was tightened losing its position

2 Cool Change – Into the 1^st turn was tightened and lost its momentum

Race 10 - TAB - VENUE MODE MIXED 3/4 331m

1 He's Smoking – Shortly after the start improved onto heels and lost its momentum

6 Ha Ha Lucky – In the back straight was tightened between runners losing its position, rounding the home turn checked across heels.

7 Jazz Button – Through the 1^st turn shifted out making muzzle contact with Little Miss Aria. Stewards spoke with trainer’s representative Cathy Baker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners through the 1st turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jazz Button was charged with marring 1^st offence and suspended for 28 days at Albion Park and must perform a satisfactory trial before racing next.   23.02.2021 – Trainer Brian Baker reported to stewards Jazz Button pulled up lame the following day subsequent to this race. A veterinary examination revealed the greyhound had ruptured its nearside hind achilles tendon and would not be fit to race for 12 weeks he further added it would be his intentions to retire the greyhound.  Mr Baker was advised he must provide a veterinary certificate and complete a veterinary trial prior to racing next.

8 Little Miss Aria - Through the 1^st turn was severely checked losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities

Race 11 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE MA5 (1) 331m

1 Backhander – Through the back turn was held up for clear running and unable to improve

7 Pancho Not Lefty – Raced wide for the entire event

8 Ava Surprise – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

Race 12 - KEDRON WAVELL SERVICES CLUB MA5 (2) 331m

4 Fabthor – Rounding the home turn checked across heels

5 Daydreaming – Raced wide throughout.

6 Quara's Zade – Into the 1^st turn looked awkward in its action and commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have injured its near side wrist and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

8 Tommy Time – Raced wide for the entire event.
