Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520m |

1 Brockie Magic – tightened for room and became momentarily unbalanced when entering the first turn. Collided with Rochill Lady shortly after and lost momentum. |
||
|
||
2 Overgrip – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when approaching the turn out of the front straight. |
||
|
||
3 Feel The Beat – shifted outwards shortly after the start and bumped with Kinloch Charm. |
||
|
||
4 Sandave Sky – slow to begin and then shortly after the start checked after being tightened for room between runners and subsequently lost ground. |
||
|

5 Kinloch Charm – shifted inwards shortly after the start and bumped with Feel The Beat. |
||
|
||
7 Slippery Duck – marginally slow to begin. Tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when entering the first turn. Bumped with Rochill Lady shortly after resulting in Slippery Duck to become momentarily unbalanced when shifting wider on the turn and subsequently lost ground. |

8 Rochill Lady – buffeted between runners when entering the first turn and lost ground. |

1 Blame Brendan – bumped with Classy Ethics over the final stages of the event. |

4 It's A Trick – marginally slow to begin. Bumped by Waikarie Bell when rounding the home turn and lost momentum. |

6 Classy Ethics – tightened for room over the final stages when attempting a run between Blame Brendon and It’s A Trick and momentarily steadied. |
||
|
||
8 Waikarie Bell – slow to begin. Steadied off heels and lost momentum when entering the turn out of the front straight. Tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when rounding the home turn. |

4 Shian Cody – bumped by Ferrari Cloud shortly after the start and lost momentum. |
||

6 Ferrari Cloud – buffeted between Sheer Passion and Shian Cody shortly after the start resulting in Ferarri Cloud to be momentarily hampered. |
||

||
7 Sheer Passion – bumped by Sir Pantsalot shortly after the start and was taken in onto Ferrari Cloud resulting in Sheer Passion to check and lose ground. |
||
|
||
8 Sir Pantsalot – shifted inwards shortly after the start and bumped Sheer Passion. |

1 Pamela's Girl – checked out off heels when rounding the turn out of the front straight and lost ground. |
||

||
3 Smart Cha Cha – buffeted between Pamela’s Girl and Viva Belle when entering the turn out of the front straight resulting in Smart Cha Cha to check and lose ground. |
||
|
||
5 Viva Belle – bumped with Smart Cha Cha when entering the turn out of the front straight then shifted outwards, bumped with Elegant Rub, became unbalanced and lost ground. |
||
|
||
7 Elegant Rub – slow to begin. Bumped with Viva Bella when entering the turn out of the front straight, checked, and lost ground when wide on the turn. |

1 Magical Revival – clipped the heels of Stormy Shari, which was losing ground, when entering the turn out of the front straight, resulting in Magical Revival to be hampered and lose momentum. Collided with Stormy Shari when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. |
||

||
2 Stormy Shari – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when approaching the turn out of the front straight. Collided with Magical Revival when rounding the turn into the back straight and lost ground. |
||
|
||
3 Lucky Jock – momentarily hampered when shifting inwards and bumping with Stormy Shari when entering the turn out of the front straight. |

||
6 Jimary Spitfire – marginally slow to begin. Stewards questioned trainer Malcolm Ross regarding the actions of Jimary Spitfire over the concluding stages of the event. After reviewing the head-on replay Stewards established that Jimary Spitfire shifted outwards from behind the heels of Hopeful Lash when rounding the home turn and then through the home straight shifted inwards and bumped with Hopeful Lash making shoulder contact over several strides resulting in Jimary Spitfire to become momentarily unbalanced. After consideration Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied Jimary Spitfire had offended under any rule. |

7 Hopeful Lash – clipped on the heels and lost ground when rounding the turn out of the front straight. Bumped with Jimary Spitfire over several strides through the home straight. |
||
|
||
8 Mr. Blaster – slow to begin. Checked off heels and became momentarily unbalanced when entering the turn out of the front straight. |

1 Ritza Dot Kerry – tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when approaching the turn out of the front straight. |

2 Blue Jeans Talk – Bumped with Hopeful Bella, and then Khandella, when entering the turn out of the front straight, was severely checked, racing wide on the turn, and lost considerable ground. Collided with Khandela shortly after and lost ground. Shifted outwards when rounding the home turn and collided with Khandela over several strides resulting in Blue Jeans Talk to become unbalanced and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. |

Shifted out across heels when entering the turn out of the front straight and collided heavily with Blue Jeans Talk resulting in Khandela to be severely checked and lose ground. Collided with Blue Jeans Talk shortly after and lost ground. Collided with Blue Jeans Talk, which shifted outwards when rounding the home turn, resulting in Khandela to lose ground. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. |

Tightened for room, checked, and lost ground when rounding the home turn and then was clipped on the heels by Xella Angel which was trailing, resulting in Tribal Magic to be checked and lose ground. |

5 Hara's Clyde – marginally slow to begin. Checked out off heels when entering the turn out of the front straight and bumped with Chanticleer resulting in Hara’s Clyde to lose ground. |

6 Hara's Olaf – marginally slow to begin. Steadied off heels when leaving the front straight. Checked off heels and lost ground when rounding the turn through to the back straight. When questioned on Hara’s Olaf performance, trainer Noel Russell advised his expectations for tonight’s performance was positive, however was mindful of the box draw. He added Hara’s Olaf needed to begin well and be positioned closer to the lead to be more competitive in the event. He added he did not support Hara’s Olaf in the event but had placed each-way bets at its most recent starts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off hind foot and Hara’s Olaf was stood down for 7 days. |
