General: The greyhound Rumbling Away which was engaged in Race 9 was declared a late scratching on Veterinary advice for mild exhaustion after it escaped from its handler prior to its race. Trainer J Dart was issued with a severe reprimand and reminded of his obligation to be in full control of his Greyhound at all times. |

2 Galway Ludwig – commenced to give ground leaving the front straight to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off hind back muscle and was stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete 1 satisfactory trial after receiving a Veterinary clearance. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Racing Injury Review Panel.
